Excellent Rhone-style wines, knowledgeable staff working the tasting room. Be sure to follow their website for special food pairing events. Tasting fee is very reasonable and is waived with purchase. Plenty of seating and the views are phenomenal! Highly recommend the rosé or the Petite Syrah/Syrah blend (but really all th wine was good).

I’ve been to quite a bit of wineries, and this is the only one where I didn’t dislike any of the wines. Something about the grapes or the way they grow them create a superb and unique flavor. The dessert wine is especially good. Will be back very soon. You won’t regret a visit.

My favorite Rhone varietal winery in El Dorado County. This winery is completely true to Rhone selections, from Grenache, Mourvedre and of course Syrah and their prized Viognier. There is no Cabernet or anything Bordeaux at this winery, just perfect Rhone selection with primarily estate grown fruit. They do source a bit of fruit around the region from time to time. Family owned and true to their hearts, which lies in South Eastern France (Rhone varietals). HH is a laid back and fun place, with great events and food by culinary enthusiasts and winemakers Josh and Carrie Bendick.If you haven't given it a try yet, please do, especially if you are a Syrah or Mourvedre fan.

Great French style wines, wonderful views, swell people on both sides of the counter. It seems like they have fun events every month - don't miss them. Josh's pizzas are incredible. They've also sponsored wine-themed river cruises to Europe that are fantastic.Well worth the travel off the main highway, Holly's Hill is a wonderful and very friendly winery. You've gotta try it.

Awesome vineyard! The wine was great and I really enjoyed chatting with the lady pouring. Sounds like they have regular events and it’s so secluded for being so close to towns.

Holly's Hill is great. My wife and I joined their wire club mainly for how friendly everyone who works there is. The fact that we have genuinely enjoyed all their wines was just icing on the cake (I am personally partial to the dry hopped wine)! Definitely recommend to anyone who loves wine and nice people.

We had a bottle of wine from Holly's Hill last night with dinner and were lucky enough to be able to stop by for a tasting today. Kim is a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about the wines. The wines are great and Kim made our experience fantastic!! We can't wait to come back and explore the grounds.

They have beautiful grounds and the staff are very friendly and accomodating to take your pickup to your vehicle. The grounds are accessible for wheelchair. However, the spot to have the most gorgeous Vista is not. Definitely recommend a visit. They are fish friendly with their farming.

Perched in a spectacular setting with a million dollar view, my family has enjoyed their Rhone-style varietals which just seem to improve as the years have gone by. Friendly folks with lots of knowledge of the area and a wonderful picnic area should you wish to enjoy a true European experience - your picnic with wines to enjoy and that wonderful view.
