If I could give a negative review I would, I went to go see my cousin at her new job and before I could even make contact I witnessed what I assumed was just a coworker creep behind her then start barking like a dog in her ears. Come to find out he's the manager and she's likely afraid to ask for a higher up. The creep to do this is one I've worked with in other places , goodwill keep a close eye on nick he could be being creepy to other patrons and workers. It's hard enough finding a job in this town and now she's gotta worry about a creepy barking manager.

Many of the items are priced way too high. Goodwill needs to remember they're a thrift store that gets this stuff for free!!! You're supposed to help your local community save money with these donations as intended by the people donating in good faith! I won't be donating here anymore! Totally taking advantage of a community deeply affected by wild fires. Shameful!!

Hmmmm...some of my experiences are better left unsaid (:personally speaking:)... that being said...I left the store $32 & some odd cents later...a satisfied shopper i.e. customer, patron, guest & "Google Guide Extraordinare" ...I would have given 5 stars had the fitting rooms not continually slammed shut...(abnormally loud)...It was a bit much considering I held my hand on the door handle as I exited from fitting and coincidentally it closed quite softly...I highly recommend going if for no other reason then to experience the fitting room shenanigan's, who knows, ya might walk out as satisfied with your purchases as I did!

Super annoyed, yesterday I spent almost 2 hours in the store and when I was ready to check out their power went out, they took my stuff and put my name on it just for me to come back today for them to tell me some of my pieces are missing. Un professional and un organized .

**revised** after a few more months of going to this good will almost everyday, I added a couple more stars. I'm going to chalk the previous review as a miss communication. I do like this store, always finding treasure! 💎The actual store is cool, lots of great things. But the management at the Placerville location is the worst! I don’t know how one of the managers, a woman with dark hair, became a manager, or even landed a job, but it was a huge mistake. I suggest she explores a different career path which doesn’t involve people. So rude!

With my experience of a rude greeting at the donation center, you will never get another donation from me.I was immediately meet with a directive from a young man; “do not place items on the ground”. I am partially disabled and a vacuum cleaner I had had began to slip out the back when I opened my hatch. It was easier to grab it and stand it up next to my vehicle then to fight it to stay.To clarify what I had heard I began to look for who had spoken out loud. I saw a young man walking towards me and asked; did you say something to me? Yes, replied the young man. I told you not to put anything on the ground. I found this to be said with a rude authorization tone.As he approached my vehicle he made the statement; “if it is not bagged or boxed, I won’t take it”. Again, I found his demeanor rude.With that said, I loaded my items back into my vehicle. And I will not contribute in anyway to Goodwill.

Well stocked and organized as far as second hand stores go. Employees were friendly and not too forward with their assistance which is unfortunately rare for a young adult male in El Dorado county, so it was a breath of fresh air to not be monitored like I was planning to steal. Would definitely visit again!

Fun place to shop and treasure hunt! I found a gorgeous Calif pottery chip and dip set very reasonable priced. I also scored some nice clothes and a set of pots that I have been looking for! I even found an old plate like my ma used to have when we were kids for .69! What a find! Got a cat carrier for a reasonable price too. Helpful staff, clean store. Nice dressing room and great selection of books.

I just stopped by to check out the books. A decent selection and price. The place is clean with A/C. For early Friday night it was very quiet. The clerk was friendly and informed me of up coming sales and discounts.

This is probably one of the nicest thrift stores I have seen. It is clean and well organized. There is plenty of parking. I think the prices are a little high for a thrift store. Clothes are cheaper at the Walmart across the street. I end up buying mostly books or housewares. Still, every time I have gone it has been a good experience.

Good experience, staff is always friendly and helpful. Stores clean, and if youre looking for speakers, or laptop chargers this is the place to go first. The only reason for the 4/5 stars is that ive noticed just in the last month or so their prices have hiked up to ebay value, which makes sense, but its a bit annoying to me because of the fact that you arent garunteed working items and on ebay you almost always are. Anyway. Overall i like this goodwill.

We make 99% of our charitable donations to this Goodwill Store. The service is great. All you have to do is drive up and someone will come out with a cart and take your donation and give you a receipt. Inside is well organized and tidy.

Much nicer Goodwill than any in Sacramento area. I didn't get the cashiers name but she was very nice & we had a pleasant conversation while she rang me up. Despite the recent minimum wage increase it seems unnecessary for them to raise prices since 95% of their inventory was acquired by donation.

I appreciate the variety of items Goodwill gets as opposed to relying only on local donations. The staff here are awesome and super patient; I've seen the store torn apart so many times only to have staff come through and patiently reorganize without a compliant. Pricing can be a bit random, but staff are friendly and the place is generally full of great finds. Overall this has been a nice addition to El Dorado County's thrifting community.

Went to store to donate very disappointed with gentlemen who literally screamed at my child for not wearing a mask. Masks are not required outdoors and are not required for medical conditions. This situation could’ve have simply been handled differently push the cart out and step away and let the donator load it and leave. You don’t have treat children or high risk pregnant people with such aggression! If you are going to follow the CDC or department of health guidelines follow it in its entirety not just pieces of it.

I really don't know why I continue to shop here. I guess I have found a couple of things here worth buying. It's not that they don't have good merchandise....its just incredibly, ridiculously overpriced. I actually saw a product here with its original price tag on it, and the goodwill tag had a higher price. Laughable. I saw a set of plastic drawers, and thwy were priced the same price as what I saw in Wal-Mart. If this store actually priced its merchandise like a real thrift store, Then it would be great. But its not.

This Goodwill has the highest prices I've ever seen than the bay area, east bay and San Joaquin Valley, Monterey County. I've lived in all of those counties. They do rotate out their inventory, but I think people would buy more and buy more often if they lowered some of the items to reasonable prices to move (due to used, work cracked,faded), such as dvds, cds, Tupperware, pots,pans, basic dishes, utensils, nic nacs rather than priced for major profit. I have found a deal here and there and I appreciate that they are here to serve some of the community.

Really great thrift store I go there all the time, workers are nice. Over heard 2 stupid old people in the books section having a debate about religion and politics very loudly kinda weird but I thought it was funny.

The quietest goodwill I've visited got some art supplies less than $10. I went to get something from the case and forgot to get it at the counter, at other goodwills they give things to the cashiers if someone wants stuff from the case.
