Apparently it is up to the employees at the register to decide if they want to give cash back. A lady with face tattoos(I say that because I did not see a name tag, nothing against people that choose to tattoo their faces and work in customer service)she said she can not give cash back and go to try a different register. So I wait an additional 20 minutes in line just to be told that they do not give cash back. If she told me that the first time than I could have just paid for my things and left. It's fine if they don't give cash back, but please value your customer's time. The guy who told me that they don't give cash back was wonderful. I don't think I'll be visiting this location if I am short on time. I recommend a different store if you are in a hurry.

It’s a hit and miss with this location. Recently there was a price discrepancy. Asked the cashier about it , even showed a photo of the price displaying the product and the offer. She said confirmed and just shrugged her shoulders. It’s uncomfortable having to discuss something like that. I said oh, it’s false advertisement and she said well it’s not ringing up like that. She didn’t ask a supervisor or confirmed. And the line started to get long, so I didn’t want to have a discussion about it. So always check the prices they are charging. They can be overcharging you.

The service attitude here encourages me to buy a gift card but I need to show my ID and then I use my mother's card. He said that my mother must be here. Guess, if my mother can come, why should I go out to buy it?

Fresh Produce with great selection at high prices. Somewhat hard to shop Isle as they were clutter with merchandise stacked so customers had to walk single file.It seemed every bit of floor spacewas taken.Store overall, very clean and well stocked. Staff all very helpful andprofessional with friendly cashier's.Plenty of parking and handicap parking.

I usually go to the Ralphs in Villa Park. I visited this Placentia Ralph’s on Monday at about 4:20 pm; It is not far from my office. I purchased 8 piece fried chicken, potato wedges and some pumpkin pies. I went to my car and tried the potato wedges, because I was kind of hungry. Unfortunately, it was dried, stale and hard to chew! So I decided to bring them back. When I arrived at the register inside, I was told to see the store manager named Shanna. She happened to be walking toward me. So I greeted her. She didn’t even greet me back; instead she was just walking away saying; “I am going to lunch” with an agitated look! I was totally shocked by her rude and unfriendly treatment! She could have courteously asking me to see one of the employees! Since she is a manager, she should have spared a couple of minutes to help her customer, instead she treated me like a second class citizen!!! I think it’s because I am not white like her? Otherwise she wouldn’t be acting so unprofessional, uncourteous and absolutely RUDE!!!She is not fit to be a manager. She is making Ralphs looks REALLY BAD!!! I wouldn’t recommend anybody to even step their feet to this terrible Ralphs!

Arrived to the store 5 minutes before closing to pick up 2 peaches only to be told by Carlos the store was closed.I was unaware that Carlos night manager for ralphs 756 was able to change store hours.Either Carlos needs to be retrained or the store needs to stop posting its closing hours at 1.I drove from 10 miles away because the store claimed to be open.If Carlos is changing store hours , I wonder what else he's doing without corporate approval and knowledge.

Only one check stand open. They kept on asking us to use self check out. The checker was rude and charged me for 8 bags but only used 6. So I asked for two more and give them to the guy behind me to use.

This is my regular grocery store because I live down the street. That being said, if there was another store within 5 minutes, I would probably go elsewhere.My main issue is that food is sometimes expired. I haven't had any issues with produce (these are usually fresh), but multiple times I have brought items home that are way past their expiration date. I do my best to look out for it while I'm in-store, but I don't always remember to check. I have purchased cold brew that is expired by 6 months an embarrassing number of times, but it has also been crackers, eggs, and beverages.My other concern is that employees often to come to work sick. Especially right now when there is an uptick in Covid and flu cases, it's very unhygienic to have employees on the floor and in the bakery/deli coughing all time time, especially with no masks on. Regardless of how you feel about the pandemic, this is gross around food and I think employees should be encouraged to stay home to not spread illness.Otherwise, this store is fine and I will continue to shop here when I need groceries quickly, but I especially recommend double checking expiration dates before purchasing items.

Ordered flower arrangement. Requested yellow and pink flowers, "no white flowers" repeatedly. When I went to pick it up it was bouquet of white flowers. I ended up just getting random flowers from the display.When I was trying to pay, the self check out register was keep saying "please wait for an assistant". The lady at the self check out kept complaining to others saying "I don't know what she is doing!!" while pointing at me. She was so loud everyone was staring at me.I used to work at grocery store and know the self checkout system very well. It is sensitive so sometimes you have to check on it several times. I really don't understand why she had to react that way.No body do their job right and staffs don't know how to interact with people.

I love shopping Ralph’s I have been shopping there for about 10 years. Never had a problem with the employees. Very friendly always has a smile on their faces. Great place to shop. Love ❤️ it especially because there are open till 1 am. I usually shop when I get off work.

After the remodeling earlier in the year, this store has REALLY opened up. The minute you walk into either entrance, you're greeted with the site of fresh produce or fresh baked/deli goods. The staff is always warm and cheery, and they definitely appreciate a good laugh. I love to shop here, and it's less than a mile from home.

It's your average large chain grocery store, but compare it to any other Ralph's and it's probably just a bit above average for the cleanliness, stocked shelves, and organization of the store. Got some great deals here on fresh berries and olive oil. I particularly appreciate their sale of day-old bread products and clearance rather than throw-away policies.

Good selection...just tired of needing their club card and being berated for not having it with me...shouldn't you be happy I chose your place to shop. I have six phone numbers and I guess none of them are linked...I love feeling like a burden by the cashier....just makes me want to go spend more money there. Then when I produced my own bags, it was like she was pissed that she couldn't say something to me about that...wow!

I am in this Ralph's at least 4 times a week!I walk to the pharmacy and they all greet me we by my name, always very pleasant! The checkers are always smiling....even walk around the check stand and give me a hug!The store consistantly looks perfect, and the employees always offer assistance to make sure I find everything I need! Love my Ralph's!!

It is always a wonderful experience to shop at Ralph's Grocery Stores. Things are all well arranged and all price tags are clearly visible.stores are always clean and tidy and the customer service is excellent.All the stores are open till late night so I can shop during less rush hours.Over all Ralphs Stores are the best.

Only two open checkout lanes ever! Even at the busiest times! Sure there are self checkout lanes but not everything can be bought at self checkout. And whatever happened to customer service! I always wait too long here

It's a typical Ralph's grocery store. Good selection but just sightly pricey.They have a good selection of Atkins products, and scotch, which is what I live on! What is frustrating is that the liquor cabinet is always locked and you have to summon an employee to open it, and you can't use self-checkout.

They have good prices. The management is good and customer friendly. If a mistake is made, they fix it quickly. The quick self check outs are helpful when you have just a few items.
