My boyfriend and I had a lot of fun doing the cave tour. We had only had experience kayaking on lakes prior to this as we are from the midwest. I originally booked the wildlife trip, but I didn't realize it was at a different location. They were super understanding and let us re-book at the last second for the cave tour instead. We were in a group with one other couple. Our guide asked all of us what level of difficulty we were comfortable with. We all said that we were up for the most challenging caves. He let us know that there was a possibility we would fall out of our kayaks, which did end up happening. My only comment would be to have two guides regardless of the size of the group since our guide went through the cave first, so there was no one nearby to help us when we fell out. It took him a while to get back to where we were, which was a bit of a precarious situation. Other than that, everything was very enjoyable. Our guide was very good at giving instructions, and was very friendly. We would definitely do it again in the future. The pictures were also a nice perk! :)

Had a nice time out on the water. Morning weather was perfect. Saw a few seals and otters. Guide was great and knowledgeable. Had to end early due to motion sickness. Shop was able to do a quick pickup down the coast based on where we were. Would recommend.

I loved my excursion with Central Coast Kayaks! The guides made the experience awesome, their directions were crystal clear, the trip felt safe, their expertise was obvious and they were all loads of fun. This was best guided tour I can recall being on. The caves were so cool! The whole coast is idyllic. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time on our kayak cave tour. The sea was a bit rough when we went out, but it was still a good experience. We managed to go through some caves, and see marine wildlife very up close! The guides also take pictures of you the whole trip, and provide the pictures to you at the end of the experience. It can be tiring to kayak ~3 hours, but there's a break half-way through the tour and water/snacks are provided, which was great. We would recommend this company!

This, by far, was one of the funnest tours I've ever done. I highly recommend booking a cave tour. Our tour guides were amazing 👏 Christian and Jacob went over all the safety procedures and how to navigate the kayak in the ocean. They took plenty of pictures and made the tour so much fun, We can't wait to go back. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend. See you soon!

Must do experience if you’re in the area! Our group of 4 did the morning cave tour with Adam and Kristian as our guides. They have a good understanding of the area and we got to explore caves and see sea life. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an adventure!

Very chill and nice people working this place. It's a wait even if it's a short line. It takes time to fill out the waivers and get instructions about riding and safety. As a first time rider I definitely appreciated that.

CCK was such a fun experience for me and my family. Although I had done sea cave kayaking before down in La Jolla, this excursion was much more exhilarating! We were able to go through 4 caves on this excursion, which is quite a bit compared to most kayaking tours. You have the ability to opt out of any cave as some are more difficult than others, but my sister and I did them all! The swells were a bit big at certain points during the tour but our guides, Kristian and Kristin, took good care of us. Kayaking is a bit tiring on the way back as you are fighting against the current, but the sore arms are worth it! Also a plus, CCK provides all the gear/outerwear that you need and takes pictures of you during the tour.

Great customer service with signing up for the tour. Our tour guide, Bonnie, was very friendly and had great knowledge of the environment and the history of the area. My boyfriend and I had a great time and can't wait to come visit again.

Adventure???? YES!!!!! Guided kayak tour of caves in Shell/Pismo Beach. The only way to view them is by kayak. Knowledgeable guides share "how to" from beginner to advanced with a side of humor. Highly recommend

Had a fantastic time on the Cave Tour! Our guides Heather and Josh were fun and professional. They explained exactly what to do and how to safely navigate through the caves. They also gave us tons of info about the sea life we saw- dolphins, sea otters and seals. Absolutely recommend!

10/10!!! I went today on the ebike tour with Jordan, he was absolutely fabulous! He was so friendly and personable I felt like I was just taking a bike ride with an old friend. While I didn't catch everyone's names at the shop they were all so friendly and welcoming I felt right at home. I highly, highly recommend the ebike tour and if you can, ask for Jordan, he's the best in the west!!

Awesome kayaking tour along the cliffs and caves! Upon arrival, the whole staff scurried in motion to get us outfitted and on the water. It was obvious the guide, Christian knows and loves his job. 10 out of 10, will definitely do it again.

We had a lovely experience with Central Coast Kayaks. We went on the caves tour and had a lot of fun. We booked ahead of time and the morning of it was too windy, so they offered for us to go the next day, go on a different tour, or be refunded. We opted to delay a day and were glad we did! My wife and I and our four kids (17-12) all thoroughly enjoyed kayaking through the openings in the rocks. Seeing baby seals was an added bonus! Our guides Zack and Sandy were awesome! Not only did they take us on a fun adventure, they also snapped photos the entire time and we were able to download all of them for free afterward.

I visited almost a decade ago. During the kayak rental process, staff gave us a brief training on how to recover if our kayak capsized. This was absolutely life-saving info as we definitely capsized while admiring sun-bathing seals near a sea cave, where the tide was particularly forceful. Rocks are very sharp and slippery so there is no grabbing those for purchase and the tide kept pushing us into the rocks. My kayaking companion panicked, but I was able to execute the instructions so we could return safe and alive. Thank you Central Coast Kayaks!

Sandy and Adam were great guides! It was my husband, 9 year old son and myself. They tailored the trip to our likes, were friendly, knowledgeable and created a great experience! The Bay was beautiful with plenty of things to see. Highly recommend.

We had a blast on the cave tour! Kristian was our guide and was great in giving us instructions to navigate the waves in the caves. Felt like we were white water kayaking. Definitely an fun experience. We saw seals and tons of birds on the rocks. Kristian took pictures of all of us in action:) He let each boat decide how much risk they wanted to take to ride the waves thru the caves so each boat could have the experience they wanted.

Bought 4 watching tickets for Central valley rescue railroad, a dog rescue in Lindsay for an upcoming fundraiser.I'm so happy with experience of purchase and learning about whales and 100'S of whales, 3 and 1/2 - 4 hrs.I can hardly go with a friend. I live locally and really recommend 👌 ☺️

Central coast kayaks is very reliable and focused on safety. Our guide was fantastic and really made the experience extra special with his knowledge of various caves and beaches. Central Coast kayaks have two offerings one for shell beach which allows you to go through at least six caves and out the other side Where is their Morro Bay trip is not as rewarding as the shell beach trip. I left my hat while gearing up for the kayaking trip and I called two days later and they said yes we have your hat. Love organizations that are truthful and reliable. You guys will have a blast!

Rated nearly 5.0 for a reason! Would rate higher if possible. The cave tour is A MUST DO experience! Sea kayaking is quite different vs lake kayaking as you get much better bigger waves on the ocean. The cave tour was one of a kind unique. We lucked out with a rare visit by dolphins. Awesome scenery and wildlife. Special shout out to our guides Kristian and Zack who provided a great mix of heart pounding “gnarly” with “righteously awesome” cruising and riding on the waves. And thanks Zack for switching out my seat. My back thanks you! Highly recommended. Book this now or at least add to you bucket list. Truly awesome experience dudes!!! Thank you.

I did the cave excursion with Kristian and it was great! He was a very knowledgeable and a fun guide.I felt safe paddling with him into the caves and riding/surfing the waves. Kristian taught us how to paddle and what to do in different scenarios. At one point a wave came and almost knocked me out of the kayak but Kristian helped keep me in the kayak which caused him to fall out instead.I didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this, but it delivered. Surfing/riding the waves was amazing! I was a bit hesitant to go into 1 of othe caves but I'm so glad Kristian got me out of my comfort zone (he was not pushy at all, he let me wait and see how my friend did inside first and then decide if I wanted to try it), because it was the best part of the tour!The gear provided by CCK was clean and more than enough. I thought I would be cold, but they give you so much I was actually hot. I would recommend this place to anyone and I'd definitely go back if I ever visit central Cali again.Also, I was a bit worried because I am claustrophobic, but the caves are not deep and the sun comes through and they are not dark. It did not trigger my usual anxiety/panic from being in enclosed places.

Their were 4 of us in our group and did the Cave Tour with Kristian, it was great! We liked the small group and felt it was personable, this was a first timer for all of us, of kayaking on the ocean, we had a Righteous time!!! he gave us an adventure we will treasure for a life time, he took some awesome shots of us on the water, his attitude was great his comedic personality fit well with us, he is very knowledgeable about the area and reading the water, thanks Kristian, Happy Birthday

We went on a cave tour and this was our first experience kayaking on the ocean. Our guide, Evan, was super nice and gave clear instructions. He was incredibly nice and understanding of our skill level. Everyone we encountered at Central Coast Kayaks was great and helpful. We had a great experience here and I can’t wait to do this again.

Beautiful tour of the sandstone cliffs and off shore rocks where pelicans and cormorants roost. We saw a sea otter, harbor seal as well. Tour was geared toward negotiating your kayak into and out of caves, not simply paddling and enjoying the view. Our guide, Kristian, was great, entertaining, and friendly. He took over a hundred photos and promptly forwarded them to us. A great experience. Highly recommend.
