Always a pleasure to shop here. Huge place with fresh food, fresh meats, essential oils, decor, variety down every aisle and a super cool beer/cider/seltzer fridge wall.The area is a real one stop area located right next to the outlets. Great place. Note: the prices are on the higher end for most things. Enjoy!

We decided to make dinner a few nights in the condo we rented in Pismo Beach. We found all the food and drink options we needed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.They had a nice liquor selection as well.

A great resource for a wide variety of organic produce. Their sandwich bar offers a number of tasty options all very generous. I love the weekly specials on fresh seafood. The bakery is terrific, their sourdough bread competes with loaves at twice the price. I’m so thankful to have Cal Fresh nearby.

this store is priced for the tourist trade. there is way to much turnover as it seems the really good people do not stay long. you hire nice helpful folks but they do not stay long. having only 2 service people in the deli during the lunch hour does not make sense. only shop there if i need something really bad.

This has got to be the best market on the Central Coast, by far!! Anything on your shopping list, you will find it in the California Fresh Market. If it's a gift, fresh and organic fruits and vegetables to prescriptions, and the most delicious foods prepared and served hot, ready to eat. Once you enter the market, you are always immediately greeted by a store associate and asked if you need any help. Their is a fresh smoothie bar and sushi bar available, along with a salad bar. All the produce is very attractive, and you can even pick up some fresh squeezed juice by the quarts & gallons. This market has local items made right here on the Central Coast available for you to see and purchase. The prices are right in line for the area. I suggest you stop in at California Fresh Market in Pismo Beach and shop this one-stop market, and I bet you will find like me. This is the best place to shop for everything and more that you could possibly need.

The food at the establishment is fantastic, and my favorite part was the Soup Bar. However, my experience was marred by the behavior of the person at the register. As a Hispanic individual, I was racially profiled by the cashier who assumed that I was using EBT when my card didn't go through. I clarified that my card was a Visa, and the transaction went through. It was disappointing to be judged based on my appearance and language, and I believe that such behavior is unacceptable. I hope that the establishment takes a closer look at their training and policies and ensure that all their customers are treated with respect and dignity.

Was totally in disbelief that a local market with so many goods reviews would take advantage and over charge on items that should be around the same price. I didn't notice until later on at night what I was charged $15.99 for a piece of cake that was the same size as 2 others I purchased and paid $6.99 and $5.98 for. If prices are not going to be displayed on the item, at least place a price on the counter it's sitting on. I will be going back in the morning to make a complaint and demand i get a refund. This is definitely not ok.

This is a great alternative to major chains. You get more of a local feel with quality products that you want to buy. Great gifts and souvenir section for quick grab and goes. Also their deli has always been fantastic!

I love the selection of meat here but all the men behind the counter are the worst, they need training in customer service, they are rude, and condescending. You can't ask a question because they react like you're asking for free stuff. Teach them good customer service, it's an issue every time

Guess I came too late for fresh salad bar and wings today...looked pretty sad and tasted like it too. Either pull it or keep it fresh. Don't sell garbage and keep the homeless people from digging around in it. I've seen this happen multiple times myself probably the last time I try.

This foodie & coffee bar aficionado loves everything about this grocery store.The coffee bar, deli & personal care section are some of the best I’ve seen and I’ve been in most high-end grocery stores from Del Mar to here traveling up coast last 2 months. This is a top fav.You know you’re in a class-act store when they offer heavy cream and especially let you free pour creamers! Look at that selection too! In 2023 free-pour and even all the goodies (sweeteners, stir sticks, etc) on counter almost unheard of on CA coastal towns. Didn’t see any real riff-raff here except one nice homeless couple outside last night who I gave a gallon of water to for their thirsty dog. Comfortable, spotless eating booths supplied with napkins. Spent 1-1/2 hours in here on cell phone and nobody seemed bothered by it.Bathrooms are clean and don’t need to run someone down for an access code.The caliber of this store is refreshing.

It's a great place to stop by on nights when you just don't want to cook. Grab something from their already prepared section and a bottle of wine. My current favorite is the Chile Relleno.

One of the best IGA markets I have ever seen. They have some of the best ready to eat home cooked meals, you have to try there pot pies 🥧 yummy.

This is an excellent store. We are vegetarian and sustainable conscious shoppers. This store has lots of options for folks like us. The fresh salsa was spicy and we loved it.Good selection of fresh produce, bulk items, and frozen foods. That is important for travelers like us. We shopped here multiple times while staying at our Airbnb in Pismo Beach.The employees were nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks to everyone for your hospitality. Big tip there is an electric car charger in the parking lot. You might get lucky enough to charge while you shop.Follow our podcast “Hop to it, Our Digital Nomad Journey” by the alchemist and the shaman. We hop from city to city on their journey to find home.

We stayed 2 nights in Pismo Beach and been at California Fresh Market for grocery shopping. This is one of the nicest grocery stores we have ever seen. Also the people working here been really nice and helpful throughout.

Oh my goodness such a great store. I have been visiting from Texas, here to wish my mom a happy 81st birthday, we stopped in for ice cream today and Anya was the most helpful, kind, and patient worker it's been my pleasure to speak with. We tried samples, we left with cones....it was so very yummy! Thank you thank you for making the last day of my trip and my mom's birthday super special! Wish I had a place like this in Texas.☆☆☆☆☆ to the store and ♡♡♡♡♡ to the super sales gal! Thanks!!

Went in to grab something quick during lunch time. I bought bbq pork ribs . The price was great but the ribs had a lighter fluid/ Match light charcoal flavor . The aftertaste is very strong . I will be back

The hot breakfast buffet and other hot grab and go items used to be fresh and tasty. I always loved making a stop for breakfast. The past several months have been lack luster… stale and over cooked as if it’s been sitting out all day but it’s only 8 am. Not really sure what happened but I’ve given it a few chances in case it was just an off day. Doesn’t seem to be the case.

While it may resemble a real super market the pricing here is ridiculous, you might as well go to one of the gourmet boutique markets in pismo beach.Do yourself a favor and drive to Vons in AG and save 30%

Hi this is a great store and very welcome but the problem i have is that rancho market and ca fresh allow it's guests to bring pets. I am the previous owner of ksby news Cowles Media and animals Carry Diese I completely understand a blind person needing help will never shop there again or recommend it not healthy or safe.

Your store was the best there was, but I do mean was. The new meat cases are the absolute worst thing I have ever seen. Now today you have started making a mess of the cases where the lunch meats are. I'm a 40 year Pismo resident I've been loving have your store here. I went in for 2 items I've been buying for years. One is substituted with less quality and higher price and one is gone kelbaso, polish,beef, turkey. Who is running the ship over there. I'll take my business else where, food for less has better produce and the meat counter is great, like yours was.

This place is absolutely horrible. Half of the things do not have prices on them . Maybe they want people to come here who do not care how much things cost - but I find it and infuriating and onion insulting sales ploy, and I will never go back.Also, the atmosphere is bizarre. Very strange place. Except for the very nice kid behind the deli counter.Never, I will never go back. I don’t need this ridiculousness.

This is the best grocery store in the whole 5 cities area. Great selection of everything. Delicious cafeteria area. Their sushi is the best grocery store sushi I've ever had. Tons of different wings. Butcher selection is crazy, pichana and wagu beef. And they even have deep parking spots that my truck can actually fit in!

Truly one of my favorite grocery stores because this place has so many good things. I feel like I could easily drop hundreds of bucks everytime I go here, therefore, I attempt to limit my visits. I absolutely love the deli, which has a large selection of hot food, pre-made and freshly prepared sandwiches, as well as salads/appetizers.I love going on Fridays because I'll order their fish and chips, which is cooked to order by a legit cook in a fully stocked kitchen you can see in the back. I need to check out their fresh coffee and juice bar, which seem to be open pretty late (I'm very Italian regarding my coffee consumption and enjoy drinking it later in the day and at night).The customer service is amazing and I've always felt welcome in this store. The meat department is huge and impressive, with a great selection of fresh sausage. This place simply doesn't disappoint, but be ready to spend some money if you really want to get the most out of it.
