This is a great little hill to go tubing with the kiddos. For $60 you get full day access (10am-5pm). There is one tiny hill with a magic carpet and one small but mighty hill with a tow bar (you sit in the tube and it pulls you up the hill). For comparison, ski reports will charge almost as much for 90 minutes tubing. The local restaurant had decent food so you can grab a lunch and even a beer. The place is usually not packed and the lines are a few minutes max.Would recommend!

We had a great time today on Thursday, February 22 during Ski Week. There had been a big storm a few days ago, and we lucked out that the roads were just plowed maybe yesterday. So the drive from the South Bay area was easy, and we didn't need to use our chains. We got to Leland at 11:00am. The timing was good, because by 12:00, the place was packed, and the lines got insanely long. Between 11 and 12 it was only like a 10 minute wait for the lifts to go tubing. Then when it got crowded, we made snowmen and played in the snow for a while. The food stand is not bad! We got cheesesteaks -- with low expectations, but the cheesesteaks were actually decent. It's really convenient that they have food and drinks available to purchase. The restrooms were also clean which was a bonus.Overall a good experience for us Bay Area people to get some fun in the snow, without having to drive all the way to Tahoe.

Doors opened at 9:45am to buy tickets and then 10am magic carpets started up. No lines today on President’s Day, maybe because the weather forecast of rain scared folks away. Kids got tuckered out after a few rides down (white bottom tubes for small hill, black bottom for larger hill 44+ inches) and then we all made snow forts in the nearby snow play area. Hot chocolate with marshmallows on a cold day is always a treat too! Hot dog, Philly cheesesteak (both on a perfectly toasted bun), and tomato basil soup (of the day) made everyone happy. Water dispenser on site and fireplace made it all a super convenient experience. We came 2 years ago during a holiday weekend and it was crazy busy. Much more pleasant with less people. No wifi and limited cellular reception so bring a book or let your inner kid enjoy the snow instead.

3rd time in a row, great place for the kids, adults, toddlers. This year lot of snow so drive was really beautiful. Snow slides for big and small kids (under/over 44 inches). Snow tubes are for all visitors. Lots of parking space, clean restroom and friendly staff

The snow park exceeded expectations with its impeccable maintenance, picturesque roads, and clear pathways devoid of ice. Attendants were readily available to assist with parking, enhancing the overall experience. An abundance of snow tubing options catered to all age groups, ensuring a thrilling adventure for everyone. During our visit with four families, each with 7-year-old children, everyone had a fantastic time. The park offers separate snow tubing sections for small children and those over 4 feet tall, contributing to its inclusivity and accessibility. The park's organization and upkeep were exemplary, providing a seamless and enjoyable outing for visitors. While the park boasted numerous food choices, there is room for improvement in the quality of the cuisine.Additionally, visitors can engage in snow play areas, fostering lively snow fights and other enjoyable activities.

A great place to take kids to play in the snow! There are two different hills on the property. There is a height requirement of 44 inches for the big hill. The smaller hill is open for any height and can be nice for all since you are allowed to sled together. There is also an area just to play around in the snow to your heart's content. Tubes are provided for sledding with your ticket price. Kids under 2 are free. The main building has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, bathrooms, a snack counter, and a grill restaurant that serves food like burgers, hotdogs, and fries etc. Overall a great place to enjoy the winter weather.

I had a great time with friends. They provide two different level(for steepness). Lower level for the kids or someone who is scared of heights and high level is for someone who doesn't mind heights and steepness. There is indoor lounge/outside deck area where you can observe your kids or friends where you can order drinks and foods(more like light snacks) I really enjoyed here but gave only one star less because there is NO WIFI AND NO SIGNAL for the cell phone. I kinda expect have at least one. Other than that I can go back again tomorrow for the snow tubing! Highly recommend!

Kids had a great time. It was a weekday and so it wasn't packed. All was pretty organized. There are two sets of lanes, one for the little ones and one for older kids and grown-ups. There's also a separate area for snow play. The good:* so much fun and thrill, definitely worth the $* organized both at lifts and at the top* all tubes are constantly sanitized* all staff are professional, and friendly* clean restrooms* on-site restaurant with reasonable pricesThe bad:* lots of grown-ups we're wearing masks

A little pricey, but found out if you go later in the day you can get some $$$ off. The mountain of snow includes automated lifts for the tubing runs, and use of equipment. Just come dressed for snow. What I took a star off for was the lack of WiFi available in the cabin for parents. I didn’t want to snow tube with my husband and 6 year old, so went into the cabin but couldn’t even watch them play because the cabins windows face the wrong direction towards the hills. So then I was a little bored with nothing to watch and football on the main tv, the fireplace crowded so I couldn’t get near it. I grabbed a hot chocolate and just sat there (forgot to bring the kindle). They had a blast though (we were there 3 hours) so I gave it 4 stars.

Go during the week. You'll have the place to yourself. If you do the weekend, go early right when they open.Pro tip. Bring your own food, I've seen ppl bust out small gas grills, tailgating. Not sure if that's allowed tho. Bring folding chairs would be nice tooCon. Limited parking. Don't use the GPS. Follow their directions online before leaving. Verizon didn't have service there.

I am not a snow person. But I really want to give my kids snow exposure. This is our second year coming to Leland with two kids three and under and last year we got a ton done but this year was a hit. I can't emphasize enough to people at my work where the majority of us are not snow people and I tell them Leland makes it so easy to get out there, out of your comfort zone and get sledding. My son is 2 years and 9 months and this time, he took the initiative to get his own tube, go up the trolley (yellow feet!) And get into position to go down the hill on his own. My dang kid can't even cross the street on his own and here he do conquering hills. LMAO.COME PREPARED AND BRING FOOD. That's my biggest recommendation. They sell food but it's cafeteria, fried food. I brought all their fruits and snacks and they were content. We did three solid nonstop hours before having to pack up.

Can’t believe you’re charging 50 dollars to slide down a mediocre hill for 6 hours. As per a previous review, it seems like the prices were 27 per person at one point years agoThe employees are awful, condescending, and overall just sour to be around. If you’re middle aged and working minimum wage at a snow park I truly doubt you’d be happy but it wouldn’t hurt to stop yelling at children. These people are miserable. As I said before, youre paying 50 dollars to go up and down one hill. Do yourself a favor and find a hill with some sleds and do it yourself, that’s what we used to do in Canada and it worked out perfectly, these CA prices are crazy.

Awesome place for tubing but beware it does get crowded best arrive half hr before opening, area had decent snow with two snow tube hills one for children and the other for teens and adults. Price is a bit up there but worth it for experience. Lines did get long at one point but expected for a weekend

Good mix for kids and adults. All equipment are included in the price. Parking was easy, and could find helpers all along. Cafeteria is small, but has items your tummy may crave for.Tube lifts made all the difference. Our kids just couldn’t get enough of the slopes, also took a breather in the play area.

They are the closest snow play park to the Bay Area and we have visited 2 years in a row. Every time we visit it's a lot of fun for the kids. Remember to arrive early as the place gets more crowded during the middle of the day. During covid the tickets must be bought online as they generally get sold out and it's no fun having to turn back. Tons of tubes and sleds for all age groups, magic carpet to carry one up for endless tubing fun.Yes, they also sanitize snow tubes in between use by people.

We love it here! It's super fun and easy to play. They provide all the tubes and there are plenty. The lines go very quick and they have lifts & escalator to take you up.

Amazing experience, the whole family loved it. As our visit was on a Monday the venue was fairly quiet. Was our first time in the snow, and it was truly memorable. The staff were super helpful and friendly, especially the the lift operators. The roads going there were so clear of ice, well kept. Resort was clean and tidy

This place is so super fun! It’s like a winter water park. We just got back from an afternoon there, and since it’s a Thursday, it was pretty quiet…tons of parking, no lines, and super friendly lady at the “front desk.” She said that Thursday is the best day to come, then Friday and Sunday, but Saturday is the busiest (that’s probably when the staff seems “rude”). We had a great time and will be back for sure! It’s a little pricey but totally worth it. My only complaint would be that the small hill that you walk up to get out to the hills (just outside of the back of the bldg) and the little hill to get on the conveyor belt we’re really slippery and there are no handrails…some steps would be helpful.

We had such a blast there today!! We didnt gave to wait long to go down. The staff was super nice and friendly. There was one lady that was rude to a couple guests as we were leaving. I think her daughter worked there cuz she called her mom....and the guest and his child walked on the wrong side of the entrance/exit station. It caught me off guard. It was about 4:30pm. I saw her doing paperwork at the bar and when I encountered her she was just fine. I think it must've been a one off or she had been telling those guests the same thing repeatedly..idk. But that was the only incident. She was fine and nice to me.When we first got there the young man that helped us made the entire process of being a newbie incredibly easy!!! He was nice and helpful. The people out on the snow were helpful and nice. They helped you if you needed to get pushed down the hill. They were nice when we connected the tubes...they looked out for everyone's safety.I have no idea why some people left less than fantastic reviews of this place. But, we bought the all day passes and we took our time going up and down, playing in the snow play area making snow men. The snow pack today was a lot!!! We came across a huge hole in the snow play area and luckily my son saw it. I would've easily fell in.They sell snow gloves, snow shoes, food, sunglasses, sun block, beanies, and a bit more. Before you get into the snow play area there are several places that sell ski equipment and places to pull over to put on your chains, if need be. We did not need them today. The road conditions were great!!My kids are 19, 14, 12 and they had a great time.I highly recommend this place for a family day of fun.

Really beautiful place. Nice staff. Cafe serving basics (soup, hot dogs, burgers, etc.) and a bar (beer) are in lodge. It can be confusing in this area - 4 registers to take food orders and ticket sales. There are places to sit and eat inside and outside. Can get busy during holidays so go early for a few early runs before lines get long. All day tow is the best value.

Beautiful location sure to be fun for the whole family. Ticket prices include tube rental resort amenities include modestly priced food and beer. You are able to bring your own food onto the resort. Worth checking out if you are looking for snow to play.
