Nice recreational Park in the middle of Pine Valley. We came here for a soccer game, but it was turf, which is not the best for the players as it might hurt upon falls. The restrooms were open and clean. The park has a big patio area that is perfect for birthday parties. And a nice well-maintained basketball field. In addition to the playing area for young kids

Pine Valley County Park is nestled at the foot of Mount Laguna and is only a mile north of Interstate 8. The park has two playgrounds, one for toddlers and one for older kids. The air is fresh, and the park is large, studded with mature oaks, pines, and other trees. The grassy areas are quite expansive, and tennis courts and basketball hoops are in the center of the park.A newer addition is the baseball diamond and sports area. The bathrooms are generally clean, and the picnic tables, gazebo, and covered area provide plenty of places to enjoy a meal.The Pine Valley branch of the San Diego County Library system is on one side of the park entrance on Old Hwy 80, and a gas station with a market (with excellent pizza!) are on the other side.Pine Valley is a small town of 1500 residents, and the large county park provides a wonderful place for residents and visitors alike to enjoy the mountains a mere 50 miles east of downtown San Diego.

Cool place to stop and let the kids run around while driving back to Phoenix AZ after here. Yuma Az has a good park too. Takes a little longer to get home, but let them run around and sleep most of the way home.Playground: Swings climbingRestrooms: Kept up.

Absolutely beautiful, snow everywhere! Pine valley county park kept my family from having to go all the way up to Mt Laguna to enjoy the snow. The park has clean restrooms, plenty of parking and two play structures one for toddlers and one for the bigger kids. The park is kept clean of any dangerous debris nice wide open space for the kids to run around freely.

super pretty and there are playgrounds, a tennis court, basketball court, and football and soccer fields as well. There's a lake but it's does dry up sometimes. Overall it's not that hot and it's wonderful💯

We always break our journey to Dan Diego here because my dog loves to visit. He doesn't get any opportunities to play in lush green grass in AZ so it's a real highlight for him. 🐾🐾

It was a beautiful snowing day here at Pine Valley County Park. Safe place to bring the kids and have fun in the snow.Restrooms: Not 5 star restrooms, but they're decent. They have running water.

We had a nice afternoon with the family here enjoying the snow. We planned on going to Mount Laguna, but didn't have the required chains. pine Valley to the rescue. Nice play structure, too. We didn't investigate the bathroom situation.

Great place to quickly eat. Hang outside seem to be popular here. Also the views of the mountains are amazing...I also dont think this is the park owners who allowed this but there are a few really cute disney (mainly frozen) indentations are made on the concrete floor.

Today is the last time I will attempt to donate to Goodwill. The staff are surly, disengaged, and judgmental. They act as if it’s a privilege to donate. Their attitude spreads the message that people are unwelcome and it’s a bother to receive donations.

Beautiful, clean, relaxing area. I love the fact that it is fenced, providing some security. Restrooms are clean and well stocked. However, stalls are small that make it hard for mothers to help their young ones to give them some privacy.Playground: Great play area for children as well as our fur babies! Nice area for a picnic and great area for a walkabout. Ice cream, burgers and treats right across the street! Beautiful!

Beautiful park. Free entry. Lots of parking. Clean,safe, and beautiful. This park is a great place to visit year-round. Even in the winter, everyone enjoys the beautiful park and welcoming setting. Even if you just want to have your lunch here, it's a great peaceful, beautiful park to visit. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. The playground equipment is up to date, and kids really enjoy engaging every aspect of it. It is really well thought out. Bring your 4-legged friends. It is also very pet friendly.

I take my dog here every morning for her daily run. Every afternoon & every evening. She's a lucky girl. 🐕It is so beautiful early in the morning, and. so peaceful . Jehovah God paints such a beautiful picture for our enjoyment 😉

We had no idea this park was here. We have been stopping in Pine Valley and getting burgers for years, this was the first time I have once thought about going here to eat instead of in the seating area. I am so glad we did. The kids were able to have a great time, the tables were clean, the playground had plenty of things for the kids to play on, the bathrooms were clean as well. We look forward to our next trip to San Diego so we can have a stop here.

Great park, lots of areas to dispose of your trash. Restrooms are plentiful. Wide space. There are trash bags present as well to pick up anything your pet leaves behind.

Loveeeee this park. Spent a few days here vanlifing. The bathrooms are so clean and nice running water. Everything was so clean and well kept. Great job to the people who maintenance it! Green grass and prairie dogs everywhere!

A beloved park, for sure.This is a great place for young and old, single people, children, family and friends.They have areas to play many kinds of sports.Barbecue grilling stations, picnic tables, and Ramada areas.There is a playground for young children and a stage area for live music or dancing.There is plenty of room to move about in this naturally majestic setting.Dogs on leashes are allowed as long as you clean up after them.There are multiple restrooms for your personal use.The park is located on the road in the middle of town.There are food establishments, a general store, a diner, a library, and an Inn in walking distance.

Excellent location for a good picnic lunch, let the kids play, or toss some horseshoes! Lots of shade and typically great temps. Also, the deli inside the gas station just outside the park has amazing pizzas and sandwiches, and are ran by some awesome people.
