Pretty cool market. They seem to have a full line of grocery items and produce. They even carry additional wares for around the house and for camping. Nice selection of beers too. I was shocked to find they were carrying a limited release of Firestone Walker.Prices are slightly higher than elsewhere but it certainly saves on the drive down to Alpine.

They have just about everything you need, but this store needs some serious remodeling! The inside definitely doesn't match the outside. I would like to see a wood look tile on those floors, so it matches the outside! They charge way more for their food than other stores, but if you run out of something, it's there in a pinch.

Stocked just well enough to be useful and that’s about it. Selections to choose from are very limited and a bit pricey but that’s obviously due to the location and size of the community. I’m not suggesting this is a bad place to shop, I just felt a little disappointed there wasn’t more. I will say the cashier was very friendly and helpful. Also after about 6pm this is about the only option you have that stays open if you need anything. All in all not a bad place to shop and compared to other nearby stores like Laguna lodge this is a huge improvement.

This place is a godsend for campers. Firewood, eggs, batteries, cash from the atm, hiking socks, sunblock, medicine... whatever you forgot, this place has it. The guy working here can seem indifferent, he didn't say "hello" to me when I came in, and the corners a little dirty, but whatever. The stores open until 9PM on Friday, it's basically the only business nearby that's open after sundown, which is cool.

The market grows on you in time. The people who work there are very friendly and payment is super efficient. If you are in a pinch and really need something you may find it there. They have a little of everything. Seriously. Prices on some items are a bit high but....you're not having to drive 15 minutes down the mountain. Now I think they would increase their business 1000 % if the owner would toatally remodel the store, modernize but keep the quaint small town feel. Make it very clean, revamp/replace the coolers and create a smoother flow. There are great models out there to mimic. Barons, Ralphs, Lidl, Aldi? Mountain Market could blow them away. Make it super clean with some good prices and more food selection, FRESH PRODUCE, inviting meat counter and I would change my 3% a week shopping there to 80%. That's alot of money. Cheers...

Most of the items are great. As long as it is not meat...which is green here....or produce....which is always soft....or veggies....which are always limp or soft...or look good until you cut into it and discover it is rotten through. Double check the dates cuz it's probably outdated. The guys that work there are nice...but I will make the trip to Alpine from here on out.

Close to Pine Valley Inn. Not a place to shop if you have a food budget. It's a pricy general store and market. Cold beer, sodas, snacks, frozen food, liquor, produce, meat and sundry items. Friendly service. Nearest stores in Descanso are just as pricy and it is a bit of a drive to Albertsons or Dollar Tree in Alpine.

Convient location. Very clean, has a big variety of everything. Stopped for dog food and half and half..Dog food was very expensive, double the price. Passed and leftWith just the half and half. Great place for an emergency but pricey.

It's alright, not a great place but a good place if you are headed east and need some cheap provisions. I wouldn't buy the meat, but definitely the eggs, oatmeal, water.. quick camp items.

They have everything you need. Also there is an annual car show thats happens here called The Run to the Hills, however, due to the virus, no show this year. So here is some photos of the 2019 car show.

Super fast and friendly service and the only Supermarket for 25 miles one way in 50 miles the other way so it's super convenient to have them in the town of Pine Valley

The only Market in the area if you're in need of tools you can actually find some here
