My dogs stayed in the Dog Kennel for 5 nights. Very polite and friendly staff. Attention to detail the kennel gets 5 stars. The vet clinic could not see my pets for several weeks and I had to go to the Vet clinic at Tractor supply in Placerville to be able to place my dogs here. Wish the vet clinic could have given my dogs the series of two vaccines and then scheduled for a new patient visit in coming weeks. They would have had a loyal customer for my vet needs. As it is I will be going elsewhere for vet care. But the lodging is great.

Highly recommend Pine Grove Veterinary Clinic!!! I have actually recommended multiple people to PGVC as well as through inquiries via Facebook and Nextdoor. We have been taking Our mini Aussie (tako)Since he was a puppy almost 2 years ago. The veterinarian has always been very helpful and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend this establishment. It is also super convenient that they board the dogs there overnight on the property also.

We live in Pine Grove and blessed to have such a caring staff and vet so close to us. They’ve held our hands through basic vet care to the emotional release of our beloved cat. They’ve always been sensitive, responsive, and professional. We love them!One note, be sure to allow time for appointments for basic pet care because they are fairly busy.

Our cat Buster was diagnosed w/diabetes and an abdominal tumor. Although the outcome was ultimately fatal, the care he received at the Pine Grove Clinic was outstanding. The staff is very competent and caring. We couldn't have asked for more and are extremely grateful for all that was done in his behalf. Thank you all so much!

My furry family member, Sundance, was diagnosed with heart disease and lung cancer. She was well cared for by the veterinary team at this wonderful and compassionate animal clinic. I normally do not leave reviews, but Dr Crunk and crew are un-woofing-believable. Every time me and my gang come by we always leave with smiles, and vaccines for those with tails. Can’t say enough of Pine Grove Vet!

After having some bad experiences with vets in the past I've grown a distrust for them. I look at them in the same light as I do mechanics... Go in for a tire rotation and balance, come out needing your transmission rebuilt.... For that reason I generally try to avoid vets and mechanics at all costs but I will not hesitate to go back go Pine Grove Veterinary Clinic if needed. They have restored a little bit of my faith in vets. Prices were reasonable and I didn't feel like they were trying to up-sell me on a bunch of unnecessary tests and such. It's been about a month since our visit and my dog is doing great. Will be bringing my other dog in for a check-up soon.

Dr. Crunk and the loving members of her clinical team are wonderful to have in our little mountain town! She takes great care of our 4 dogs and 1 cat. Her surgical skills and follow up care are outstanding! I highly recommend her.

I LOVE Dr. Crunk and the Pine Grove staff. Their service is EXCELLENT! I have 3 dogs and every time I need to see the doctor I get right in! They really care about not just my dogs, but me too. They address any and all concerns I might have, and they follow up to make sure all is well with my dogs. I would recommend Pine Grove Vet to anyone who has a pet. Kelly is the best! She is VERY professional and organized. Boarding is wonderful. Myrna takes care of my dogs as of they were hers. If there were more stars to give I would absolutely give them a 10 star rating.

Check in was a breeze. Wait wasn’t long but I had come in earlier than my appointment time to fill out any paperwork. Hannah, the Vet Assistant, was kind, courteous, and very informative 😻. Dr Crunk, the vet, is just as I had been told… kind, thorough, gave me and Kitty Girl plenty of time and attention. Answered all my questions.Kelly made future appointments and took payment. Very sweet and professional. The whole time I was at Pine Grove Veterinary I observed the staff to be very kind, patient, and professional. They helped owners take pets to their cars… one owner was a senior lady in a walker with a cat in a carrier another was a young mother with 2 young dogs and a child in a stroller. I was impressed!! Definitely looking forward to Kitty Girl receiving the best of care at Pine Grove Veterinary 😻

I don't usually leave reviews but my experience here was so terrible I thought I would share.After making anappointment over three weeks ahead of time to have my new puppy neutered the rude receptionist "Kelly" tells my gf I never made an appointment. This was an outright lie as I had confirmed my appointment with them the day before then when I called her for an explanation she hangs up on me repeatedly just picking up the phone and hanging it up as if she were a child.I will never be returning and suggest that others don't take their pets here as well.It was one of the most unprofessional experience's I have ever had.The receptionist "Kelly" is so unprofessional and rude.It's a shame because I have taken pets here before and had good experiences with the vet technicians but unfortunately because of the way Kelly treated me I will never return or recommend thisvet.

I was worried about my dog's rotting teeth. since I'm fairly new to the area I took a chance calling Pine Grove. I'm glad I did Staff relieved my concerns and soon she'll be rid of those rotting teeth and the pain it's causing. Thank you

I only write reviews when the service is exceptional or terrible. I am so glad I found this vet clinic. I have taken all of my pets here and they went above and beyond when I had to put my cat down. I always felt like I had all the answers to make the best choice for my fur babies. When you lose a pet it can be so hard and I can't imagine going through that process with another veterinary clinic.

Dr Krunk is awesome. staff is very nice and always seems like they care about you and your pet. they usually always have availability, compared to some others that are usually a month out. They usually dont charge me a follow up visit like others do as well. i love this place.

Had an urgent dog issue come up. We were seen the same day - in the am. After the visit- care instructions given, medications filled, and cost was not expensive at all. Very professional and competent staff.

It’s a shame there is a new vet there that doesn’t know what she is doing and some of the staff are very rude. If Dr. Clay was still there I would stay, but unfortunately I’m not going to be wasting my money on this lousy excuse of a “vet clinic”.Update: I decided to go back since it was under a new owner. I’m glad I did. The staff is better. Dr crunk gives you excellent one on one and genuinely cares. I’d highly recommend this vet over any other vet I’ve been to.
