Quick stop by Hwy 88. Market has all the amenities and basic goods that a traveler could need- from veggies to dry goods. Has hot sandwiches and delis as well which i appreciated since theres few choices for services and food along Hwy 88. The people are friendly and hospitable

Excellent highly recommend. I wasn't expecting the store to have absolutely everything I need. Restaurant food burgers fries sandwiche and a market with meats and supplies. Everyone is so friendly there. Best place to stop on the way to the ski slopes. Very clean store.

Very nice store. Seems like it’s been renovated. Very wide selection. One or two dollars more expensive per item than your typical grocery store.

Amazing services. Lana, Jason and the rest of the staff were all very welcoming and kind. They have a large variety of food and drinks to choose from, and the deli in the back is solid too.

This store looks small on the outside, but once you enter you are amazed by the selection of items. They have a delicious potato salad at the deli counter. They even had an area of rare collector items. The service too was exceptional. The staff was helpful and happy. If I lived there, I would frequent this market simply because of the welcoming environment.

Ok, I hate to do this, but what is up with the prices at PG marker. I understand that inflation is a part of this, but nothing in the store is under $3. Most items are $6. The delli remodeling looks good, but I'm confused, can I still buy delli sliced meat. The delli case is full of drinks and pre-made meals. Today I when in for a "Naked" fruit smoothie 15oz bottle cost $6........yep SIX Dollard, that's .40 cents an oz. Now, if I buy a 64oz bottle, it is only $9 at .14 cents a oz. Ok I get profit margins but really, Rayleys ,the most expensive store in Amador County, it only $4 for a 15oz bottle. That's a %50 mark up.I find myself driving to Youngs Payless IGA in Pioneer for a huge savings, better meat & vegetables market. Supper Delli. And the biggest thing is not a average 50% markup on products.I have lived in Pine Grove for 49 years, and I worked a Big Foot Market. This store changed hands many times, but it always served the community with fair prices and good products. UNTIL now, the new owners have made a mini mart with Napa Co prices. And aisles of products that are great for a cheese wine party, but limited on staples. I feel like I walked I to a giant snack pantry full of drinks and chips......Oh and don't get me going on the car wash prices.......

Orlando's Pine Grove Market's Deli is now making French Dip Sandwiches 😍. My husband and I had the honor of being the first customers to try them, let me say that the sandwich was amazing 😍

The prices are great especially on wine, this store is pretty neat and tidy, and well stocked with a lot of essential items and food I wouldn’t have even published a review until my most recent encounter which left me with a smile. I completely understand some days are long, and even arduous and it isn’t always a pleasure making the acquaintance of certain customers but I was taken aback by the service this evening.Staff is typically fairly decent, no major complaints, but not always friendly or even helpful, some just a bit unpleasant and I would have likely given them a lower rating except that I had a rather exceptionally pleasant gentleman cashier this evening I had the pleasure of doing business with. Thanks!

Outstanding. A little grocery store, market, and bakery. Great selection but the thing that makes it is they're wonderfully upbeat and friendly people working there. An outstanding selection of just about anything you might want for such a small place.

A true diamond in the rough. Was doing some work in the area, needed some food and supplies and found this gem. Very well stocked, fresh veggies, nice selection of meat and everything else in between. Top that with very cool staff, neat as a pin and clean as a whistle. An incredibly nice store, Jackson or Tahoe to find anything remotely close to a market like this. I'll definitely be back and kudos to y'all at Pine Grove Market,it's a genuine pleasure to shop with you!😎

IF YOU TAKE ONE THING AWAY FROM THIS REVIEW IT'S THIS: If you are traveling to S. Lake Tahoe via Hwy 88 and you enter Pine Grove, CA STOP at the Chevron Station on your right (there will be a Dollar General on your left). It is THE ONLY PLACE where you will be able to get real food/drinks/supplies you might need anytime after 8:00 PM between Jackson and S Lake which is like another couple of hours up the hill!I had to update this review because this place has changed a lot! I'm not even sure it's called Pine Grove Market anymore. When they put in the new Chevron (which has a big brand new car wash), the small grocery store became in a sense the Mini Mart part of the Chevron Station - my card sometimes doesn't work at the pump but you can pay for gas inside. It is a small market but they have anything you need (the only other 24/7 gas station is nearby but has only candy, soda and a small selection of alcohol). This little market is tiny but it will have what you need: large drink selection non-alcoholic, wine, beer and liquor but also candy, fresh produce, meat, frozen food, non-food essentials, etc.Don't expect to find as wide a selection as a Raley's or Safeway, but you'll definitely find something good. They have a deli that is open during the day and there will be a good selection of pasta/potato salads, sandwiches, salads plus food you can heat up like tamales, enchiladas, meatloaf - and my personal fave rotisserie chickens - my husband and I pick those up late night a couple times a week and they are really good. We moved up here from the East Bay 7 years ago and it's still an adjustment sometimes. When new gas station was put in and the market suddenly became open all-night, it was like a miracle. And it may end up being yours one day because you won't find anything open later than 10pm from Jackson to S. Lake and nothing with real food after 8pm!Worth a stop! I love living Up Country - the space, the quiet and you should see the view from my house - but it's definitely a different way of living (it's annoying on weekends when the best pub in Jackson considers being open until 10 pm those nights to be "late," I mean, right?!). The casino is there but their restaurant will be closed and it's on a reservation so the only bar in the casino is also closed). I know I'm going on and on but it's (pathetic to say I totally hear it) improved life up here so much and anyone traveling through should know about it! :-)

Stopped in because I forgot to grab some things for dinner, and even with multiple specialty diets PGM delivers! I also appreciate that they're open later so we don't have to drive to Safeway. Nice checkers and they're fast.

Its the only 24 hour place in town. E X P E N S I V E! ! ! ! I'll say it again: EXPENSIVE. Like ridiculously so. If not for the 24 hour aspect, and the delicious deli, I'd give this establishment 1 star. The prices are ridiculous, the isles are cramped, and the floors are dirty. There is a redeeming recycling place around back, And a gas station (also pricey). I generally only shop here as a last ditch effort in the late night or wee hours of the morning. And then, I only buy what I absolutely have to. The prices on everything are just way too high. 8 bucks for a package of microwavable burritos. Ridiculous. The deli, while pricey, is delicious. So it does have that going for it. During normal business hours, I'd go across the street to Dollar General for anything standard.

Great deli sandwich, tuna was simple which I prefer not a bunch of added ingredients. Always friendly staff, 24/7 is a bonus

A great little local market with good quality of meat, good selection of fruits and vegetables, frozen foods, deli, liquor. Pine Grove Market carries products I couldn't find at other local stores and thought I would have to drive to town for.

Nice family owned small grocery store. Friendly staff within. Their deli sandwiches are the best in town.I must mention great service provided by the Recycling Guy ~ down the hill-behind this store & Chevron gas station attached, very clean along with gas pumps that work great-no problems pumping gas. Also there is a car wash on the side of store that works great too!So go visit Orlandos Pine Grove Market grocery store at the intersection of Hwy. 88 and Ridge Rd. Check out all it has to offer!

Perfect location for our road trips thru the area. Open 24 hours! Friendly staff. Deceivingly large with an excellent selection. We had no idea that with "market" in the name that it would be such a well-stocked store. Thanks for being our late-night snack and beverage spot!

Surprisingly this market has quite the variety. I was very happy to find that the beef they carry is better in my opinion than the local grocery stores, and The wine & Beer selection is extensive which is surprising for such a little market.their produce selection is pretty good. The Delicatessen has quite the selection of side dishes, cheeses, and lunch meats, and their deli sandwiches are delicious! Love this little market
