As a local I got to give it a 3 stars. It has quite a bit of stuff which is nice but it is all very expensive. And yes you see the sign in the pic it opens at 11:30 am. So maybe they sleep in till 10 maybe 11? and leisurely make their way in and open the store at 11:30? Must be nice haha 😄

Wonderful store! Such a thoughtful, unexpected variety of items in such a small place and the owners are also wonderful. Magical store in a magical place full of beautiful Redwoods. Its the gateway to the Avenue of the Giants and I will always stop by when ever I pass that way.

Tiny Market surrounded by Redwoods, along the Avenue of the Giants, with just about anything you might want on a road trip. They carry the basics and so much more! They also sell the work and products of some local artists and artisans. It's a well stocked little store that also has some very good homemade sandwiches. A nice place to stop with a woodsy atmosphere.

I rate this 100 year old market a four star rating because the market doesn't have bathroom availability. This is because the bathroom will not accommodate wheelchairs and it is too costly to remodel. But what a treasure it is! It is located on the world famous "Avenue of the Giants" in a beautiful giant redwood rainforest. It is a country market that has everything you could possibly want. It takes you back in time with a nostalgic feel. The staff is very accommodating and extremely friendly and helpful.

This little star is locally owned and operated by a very nice elderly couple. if you're ever in the redwoods you watch your travel the Avenue of the Giants and make sure to stop at this little grocery store.
