Our regular hay Supplier was out of the type of hay we purchase for our horses so had to purchase a bale of hay(Bermuda) here until our supplier receives their shipment. The price was much higher than what we pay normally but it was a holiday and it was needed. The service was fine, and the yardman was quick to load that bale for us quickly so we could be on our way. My rating is 3 to 4 stars and that is due to the cost which is higher than what we pay.

Did not account for running out of hay for our horses and our regular hay Supplier was out of Bermuda Hay until the end of the week, so had to purchase hay here at this establishment instead over the Holiday. We have purchased from Feed Barn before so we knew what to expect as far as quality. They do sell a good quality hay which I require for my horses health so all was well. The price for Bermuda hay would normally be considered reasonable at $21/bale however, we pay less from our normal supplier which saves us money but a bale was NEEDED at that time.

Unhappy about hay I purchased. I purchased alfalfa and received something of way less quality than I paid for. They are working on making it good but I was upset that it was even delivered since I've always purchased 50 bales of alfalfa. Now I have an acre of wasted hay

We’ve gone here for years. Never had a bad experience until now. I went in and wanted pellets for goats. I was going to buy 50# bags, but the guy loading my truck said to get 80# bags for less money. So I went in to change my purchase, easy right? They ended charging me an extra dollar per bag and when I called to get it fixed the 20 dollar bags were now $20.99. That’s annoying enough but when I tried to use my credit card later I found out they tried to ruin my card 4 more times and locked my card. Not going back again. Bad enough that they wouldn’t honor the price I was told but then to try to run my credit card for extra purchases was too much!

I moved from Oklahoma to Phelan and had to change hay types for my 24yr old mares and 15yr old mini donkey. The customer service and knowledge of hay was excellent, ladies were extremely helpful and very nice. What a nice welcome, to Phelan. Thank You Feed Barn🤗😁♥️

Very disappointed with this last delivery. $900 worth of hay....completely shatters all over the ground when trying to feed it. Nightmare! To top it off, the delivery man didn't bother to put the hay where I asked him to. Last hay purchase from here. The owner is a very pleasant lady to deal with and very fair.

Small and a little pricey, but staff friendly and helpful. They do have a discount card and stamp every 25 dollars. Good for feed Limited supply of pet treats, tack, miscellaneous

Have been a customer of feed barn for over 12 years. They have a little bit of everything you might need for a variety of pets. Prices in store are compatible to other feed stores. You can purchase these items at stores like Wal mart for less, however the price difference isn't worth the drive. Feed Barn is in a great location and I'm more than happy to support local businesses. The owners do a lot for their community and always make sure you're happy with your purchase.

Since we purchased a home in Pinon Hills, and rented prior to our new property...I have always utilized the hay and delivery services with The Feed Barn until recently. I have been happy with the forage although the prices were surprisingly higher than other Feed Retailers in the area. The last three deliveries of hay I received just did not appear to be quality as I had once received and for the cost to purchase in bulk, gave me reason to shop other Retailers and determine if I could find good hay at a more cost effective price. I still make purchases for items like fly sprays, horse shapois, conditioners, etc., as needed and the staff are always very pleasant and kind. They are knowledgeable to answer any questions about specific products if asked. Although I no longer purchase my hay/forage from The Feed Barn, it does not mean I no longer pop in to make a quick purchase when it's needed. I still recommend them for any pet, horse, animal needs and base ones decision for themselves...not from me.
