I was in a big jam with my dog, Mali, and after some research, called Kareen. She was helpful and reassuring. Also, a joy to talk to, and happy to work with me on my situation.I took my girl to Bears Den, and dropped her off, 2 days ago. I finally got a good night's sleep, knowing Mali was safe.(Photo at my house, but I'll take more when I go visit, next week)

Hi.. I left my sweet little yorkie and Maltese mix with them for 5days. Was very worrisome as they had a lot of big dogs and thought it would make my babies nervous, but I'm a worry wart and those are my children.. Lol. When I finally got home to pick them up I seen they were in good hand's. Thank you very much for taking great care of my fur babies..Ginger P.

I would like to write a review with out slandering their business. Therefor I will just make this statement. Im still devastated what occurred to my dog in their care. which cost me over 4 thousand dollars. For me its not about the money. Just the fact that I personally think that their facility is under staffed to give the proper care. I gave 1 star because no star was not an option.

Boarded my two pups for 12 days at Bears Den. Staff was awsome, rates were affordable, and run availability wasn't an issue. Very happy with their services. Read the reviews before booking as my pups are very important to me, so now I'm paying it forward. Thank you Kareen and staff.

It took awhile for me to calm down before I can sit and write this review. After a short stay my dog was standing in her own feces at pickup. She smelled horrible and clearly had not slept in days. When returned home I gave her a bath and to my surprise she was COMPLETELY covered in ticks! ( She had been to the groomer before her arrival to your boarding business and she was completely spotless ). Under CALIFORNIA law you are required to keep enclosures SANITARY! My dog has PTSD and is still not sleeping at night because of this awful experience. You should get interns to help with your boarding business if you cannot afford employees, this is no way to treat animals! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!

The quality of care & attention given to your dog is outstanding. I can't say enough about how well they were taken care. The peace you get from knowing you have left your dogs in capable & reliable hands is priceless. Every year I would drive miles to Phelan to board my dogs, so the only thing we had to worry about on vacation, was if the tide was going to reach our beach chairs. When we came back I would pick them up, they were bathed & ready to go home. It was their thoughtfulness, & their knowledge of animals that kept me going back. Highly recommend Bear's Den. Thank u Norma Kareem for Journey & Sky. They are over the rainbow now with the others from the crew, I remember them well racing to meet us at the gate RIP one & all.

Whom ever is spreading rumors about Bears Den, should be sued!Bears Den and the owner Have NEVER in their 20 years used a dog for bait!The owner takes great care of all the dogs!Yes there was an accident with a dog and Bears Den's owner took him to the vet right away. The dog in question has been a very aggressive dog and has been in kennels for 2 years!!! Who locks up a dog in kennels for 2 years??? Also the dog in question had old scars from wounds that were there before it came to Bears den boarding. Isn't it abuse to keep a dog kenneled up for 2 years? Fighting with other dogs? The owner of the injured dog should be ashamed of her self and should take responsibility for her own wrong doing and keeping an aggressive dog, that might have cancer, there for very skinny. Bears Den is a great and clean facility and i have nothing but respect for Bears Den owner!!

They get one star for giving your pet a good scubing before they send home WARNING! IF YOUR PETS ARE TREATED AS FAMILY,THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF PLACE TO TAKE THEM,IN MY OPPINION POBD(PRISONER OF BEARS DEN),HORRIABLE PLACE.I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH A RAT ITS ALL QUESTIONABLE AND VERY STRANGE.GLAD MY PETS WERE STILL ALIVE I HAVE NO REASON TO LYE, WHY?
