Vanda Floral was an amazing wedding florist. Their staff is so kind and responsive, and they transformed our ambiguous ideas into just what we imagined. We postponed our wedding a year due to the pandemic, and Vanda was very open to shifting the color palette and overall feel of our florals after our tastes evolved during that time. They’re an extremely experienced group of folks, and throughout our wedding planning, we always felt like Vanda was on top of things. Vanda Floral was excellent for our wedding! Alexa helped us through the entire process with the consultation to pick out the colors and specific flowers. She was also able to make recommendations for centerpieces, whether we purchased them through Vanda or make them ourselves, and was able to make adjustments due to last minute changes. We only purchased personal flowers through Vanda and the bouquets turned out better than I could have imagined! All the florals were beautiful and stayed intact throughout the day.

Vanda Floral Design did an absolutely incredible job creating a gorgeous arrangement for my mother's 80th birthday party that people couldn't stop admiring and talking about. They were also extremely nice to work with and even called me to tell me where they left the arrangement since no one was at home at the time of the delivery. I would certainly use them again. We hired Vanda Floral as our florist for our wedding on May 27th, 2023, and I would highly recommend them for any North Bay Area weddings or other events. The flowers were gorgeous, and they smelled great, too. Alexa was easy to work with, responsive and with careful attention to detail. She was able to take the details I provided and really make our wedding vision come to life.One thing I wish I had considered more carefully was the beautiful flower crown that Vanda designed: we should have planned to pick this up earlier on the day of the wedding to sync better with the timing of my hair and makeup. It was delivered with the other floral arrangements and my stylist was already preparing to leave. This isn’t on Vanda, but a tip for any brides or bridal parties considering flowers as part of their accessories on the day beyond a bouquet.

2nd time roses were fully open and droopy on day 3. Last time replaced same day. This time they didn’t and I called to ask why. They didn’t understand to be replaced The same day and said they would “TRY”to get it out today or tomorrow. When I said no one will be home tomorrow and didn’t want the roses sitting out in the heat they said they would try their best. While they did bring out new roses felt like they should’ve been more reassuring they were on it. I can get roses at Safeway for half the price and they usually last for 10 days.

I called Vanda and the gentleman took his time to take my order and talk with me about the best choice for a sympathy arrangement. I trusted him to make the right choices of flowers and the family that received the arrangement was very appreciative and impressed with the bouquet. The Best EVER!!The staff at Vanda Floral Design made the most beautiful arrangement for my sister's birthday. It arrived on time and absolutely gorgeous. This past weekend Vanda Floral Design made the bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces for my wedding. They were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I gave them a price range and the colors that I wanted and they were able to create exactly what I had envisioned. They arrived on time and were very easy to get a hold of. I have used Vanda Floral for many years, for the big holidays and events and for last minute stop-ins to bring home a nice surprise. Bryce and his staff always do an amazing job. This isn't your typical "pick an arrangement from a book" shop and they definitely put the extra effort into all the pieces they create. I absolutely love this place! I was shopping for someone who did something very special for me. He has a beautiful spirit and he helps a lot of people, me being one of them, but I didn't know what to get him. I told the owner of the story of how he helped me through a very stressful and difficult situation and she was able to express my feelings of appreciation and gratitude in her "flower language". What she put together relayed beautifully, exactly what my soul wanted to express to this person. It's a wonderful little shop, with amazing people. I highly recommend this place!

From our first meeting with Bryce, I knew we had found the right florist for our wedding. We wanted rustic and simple spring flowers with a touch of romance and Bryce captured the idea perfectly! He even made us a wonderful wooden arch to use for our ceremony.We were referred to Vanda by our wedding coordinator after we were shocked by some of the quotes we got; Bryce was very happy to work within our budget and produced the most wonderful arrangements and bouquets. We can't thank the Vanda team enough!

ALL BRIDES - PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING.As a recent bride, Vanda left me feeling completely disappointed, upset, and helpless ON MY WEDDING DAY, and if you asked any other brides, you NEVER want to feel that way on your wedding day. I 100% regret choosing Vanda as my wedding florist and definitely would not recommend going with Vanda for your wedding.To be fair, the contracting process was fine - they were responsive through email, met with us in person to walk through our vision for the wedding day, and were able to accommodate early pick up of personal flowers. We then started to notice errors in the order forms and increases in pricing that was not previously agreed upon; but those were relatively minor errors that we could overlook.However, the ONE THING that I've requested out of all the flowers I've ordered was to include a king protea in my bridal bouquet, and it was specifically noted in my order form to have a king protea as the focal point. The individual who I worked with, Alexa, told me that sometimes king proteas are hard to source, so I said I would be willing to settle with a queen protea.Come wedding day this past weekend, I saw the bridal bouquet in the morning and thought it was a bridesmaid bouquet since it didn't include the king protea as noted in my contract and the size was much smaller than expected. So I had my coordinator reach out to figure out what had happened and to have it resolved before the first look, ceremony, etc. The rationale Vanda had provided was that they had saw the king protea at the flower market but based on their "creative liberties", they decided not to purchase the king protea and went with, instead, regular, small proteas that were not even bloomed. They further rationalized that I mentioned I didn't want the bouquet to overwhelm me, since I'm more on the petite size, but the bouquet I received wasn't even the size I had wanted.I don't know any other vendors who would made an executive decision to change the bride's vision for their wedding. What made it worst was that none of this was previously communicated, all the way up to the wedding day. Alexa and the team knew from day one that I wanted a king protea and a bridal bouquet that fits me, and at no point did they mention a king protea would be too overwhelming. And the fact that they saw the king protea at the flower market and made a decision FOR ME to not purchase it even though that was the ONLY flower I had requested, is unacceptable. They have my number and they have my email, so if they weren't sure what I would prefer, they could have easily called or emailed me. But I didn't even get a chance to make the decision for myself for MY wedding. And even after they made the decision to forgo the king protea, they didn't call to follow up to make sure I was okay with the change to MY vision of MY bouquet. At no point did Alexa or her team reach out to apologize on how they SINGLE-HANDEDLY RUINED MY WEDDING DAY, even though they knew how frustrated and disappointed I was at the bouquet. I even saw Alexa and her team at the venue while I was taking pictures and they didn't even acknowledge me.They tried to "fix" the issue to add more small proteas in the bouquet, but again, that's not what I had ordered, and unless they had a king protea, none of this could have been fixed. And at that point, we had already taken the bridal pictures.On top of that, I would say half the flowers came delivered looking half dead, so they did not use the freshest flowers.While this may all seem trivial because of a missing king protea, in the context of 2 years of planning for a perfect wedding and a wedding being a once in a lifetime experience, not having what you had specifically requested, lack of communication, and leaving a bride feeling helpless on her wedding day cannot be forgiven.Side note - they have a sister store called Stems Floral Design.

I called (from San Francisco), for a late in the afternoon, Petaluma, delivery, on April 21 (same day). I spoke w/a woman (sorry, don't recall name) and she was welcoming and ensured me that the flowers would be delivered THAT day...and...they were. I got a call and was told how 'absolutely beautiful the flowers were! She loved them and I will definitely call again! I should have asked for a picture! Thanks, Vanda!

Bryce and Vanda Floral Design made our son and daughter-in-law's wedding very special with the gorgeous arrangements they provided....everyone at the wedding in Sonoma commented on how beautiful they were. The bridesmaids' bouquets, the groomsmen's boutonnieres, the center pieces... everything was stunning. He and his staff were a delight to work with: very prompt in responding to questions, etc. I cannot say enough about them!! They also did the arrangements for me for the rehearsal dinner....beautiful! I thought they were very reasonable since I had been told by so many people that the flowers for a wedding would cost a fortune.....yes, I would definitely use them again and again.

Vanda did the flowers for my wedding and I couldn't believe how GORGEOUS they were!! I was planning a destination wedding so we talked back and forth through e-mails only.... how Bryce put together such perfect arrangements from a few pictures and e-mails, I'm not sure but they were absolutly BEAUTIFUL! I don't know if I've ever commented on flowers at a wedding I've been to but I got so many compliments about mine!! The price was reasonable and worth every penny!

Can not begin to express my current disappointment in this establishment. Was told there would be no problems with a certain flower and a specific delivery time frame. Was called 2 hours after order was to have been delivered to tell me they do not have the flower I requested. When I asked about the timing, "oh we didn't know" While I realize that we all have a special meaning behind sending flowers to someone..... This particular person is so deserving of this small birthday surprise and due to their inability to ensure the details that was promised to me..... I can not even put into words how upset I am with this business and the service I received/didn't receive.....

Discovered this place via google, and a change to my calendar meant I had about 20 minutes to pick up an arrangement for a retiring colleague. Was astutely taken care of, and despite my fears of being fleeced (new customer, AND in a hurry), I walked out with a stunning arrangement of flowers, and much less than I feared I’d have to pay. Will be returning as a regular customer. Their opening hours made the difference for me to begin with, but the flowers and service will bring me back. Thankyou.
