Great prices although you can’t get waited on. Their customer service is the worst in Petaluma, they need more cashiers during afternoon. I have walked out many many times because they lack help up front.

You're all a bunch of cry babies! grow up Safeway Lucky's Albertsons none of those got it right on the first try and you still shop there. I don't use the mobile app for anything I just shop it's a great store

I would leave a 0 stars review if I could. It's amazing how they couldn't get their discounts they had advertised in the aisles unless you downloaded their app which I did and it still didn't work, employee was not helpful I left my whole cart of groceries at checkout after spending almost an hour shopping. Way to go Smart & Final, this is the final time I'm shopping there.Response to response: I understand you have marketing requirements however your app doesn't work as described for the average user OR employees. I get you want my email to send me specials etc so collect that and allow the customer to EASILY get the discount - not take 20+ mins to setup and use only to have it FAIL MISERABLY. Makes me not want to shop there at all!!

So I was there yesterday. The digital coupon I needed was not on the app. I brought the tag to the checker and he would not take off the 3$. Literally refused if it wasn’t in the app. He was talking with a fake British accent and refused! I was so mad! I use to spend about 300$ a week and he was so rude it’s making me question shopping there! I’m sure this is not your policy. But he was taking it to the extreme. Kept saying well you can come back. He clearly had the tag and I feel that this is a bad business practice! Please instruct your checkers to follow good customer service practices. As this was not!

I go to Smart & Final for my man food! For example, yesterday I went in to buy two boxes of cold cereal, and $150 later, I came out with 12 cereal boxes, some quarts of ice cream, some cookies, two bags of chips, hummus dip, salsa, but I tempered it all with three Salad dishes. Fantastic prices.

Like anyplace, you have to comparison shop. Some things are cheaper at Costco, some things cheaper at Safeway. Pay attention and you can save on items here.I mainly stop at this location to use the Charge point car chargers. $1.25 for an hour @ 6kw.

I find myself shopping at Smart and Final more and more. They have good quantity prices. I always check their advertising before shopping, since they often have specials for meat and produce. They also offer dry goods, like grains and nuts, in a pack your own display. I do not recommend it for specialty items.

With some exceptions, you do not find top of the line products here. They do have a wide assortment of good products. Produce us so-so. Dairy assortment is very good. All meats are pre-packaged.What they do, they do very well. Terrific customer service.

I feel extremely fortunate that we have a Smart and Final - and so close to my house!I don't much care to make the journey to Rohnert Park's Costco if I need something in bulk, and most of the time I don't need very much in the way of bulk items. Smart and Final has really made my shopping adventure most pleasurable - if I need a 25# sack of flour or sugar, it's there, as well as the tiny size box for the person that doesn't require much. If I need a case of tomato sauce or green beans, it's there... and so many other things!I especially like that the employees there have had very nice things to say about the people & company they work for - the same can NOT be said for some other local grocery stores...Parking is ABUNDANT and I'm a little concerned that my well kept secret will get out and this store will become as crazy as Costco, but I want them to survive and prosper.I gave a 4 star rating only because it's a bit chilly in the store (to accommodate the produce) and there isn't a butcher - though there is certainly a very nice selection of meat products!Great store!

I love this place! It's combination restaurant supply and grocery store. They have a huge produce department and you can buy small to very large quantities of anything you need. As a working cook, I can appreciate the ability to get restaurant quality ingredients, that are typically only available from bulk purveyors, for the home at bargain prices.

Today we went because we knew they had the frozen shrimp we wanted for tomorrow's dinner, but ended up buying everything on the list, saving a trip to another store. Plus we restocked our supply of Harold's Gormay Texas Pickuls. If you're a dedicated Whole Foods shopper, you aren't going here. If you're organic-agnostic, it's worth checking out.

Huge, clean, well-lit store. If you are having a huge party or own a small food service business, this is the place for you. But they sell individual as well and their produce prices are great.

Really long checkout lines while managers make cash drops and joke with employees making the lines even longer. People who work there,w few exceptions don't seem to care about customers. when I told Susan that I was unhappy with the long lines she literally laughed in my face.

This store has a lot of Costco items but a little more expensive! They got fresh blackberries for .99 a box and blueberries for .99 a box, fresh asparagus for 1.77 each
