I really wanted to give a higher rating however my last trip here was disappointing. I live 2 hours away and I called ahead to pick up some feed that isn't stocked at stores in the South Bay. I decided to pick up some timothy pellets and when I got home discovered they were moldy. When I called the store to explain my discovery and requested a refund they insisted I bring the bag of moldy pellets in. Kinda hard when you live 2 hours from the store and only get to the north bay a few times a year. So if you live far from this store inspect your purchase carefully so you don't get burned like I did.

I've gone to this place for a number of years for different reasons; bird, bunny, dog and cat supplies and accessories - always a healthy selection. And if you crave distractions there is a fun koi pond and (at different times of the year) baby chicks and ducklings. Just a fun store to browse through - very well organized 🙂

This local feed and pet store is loaded to the gills with pet needs. Think Bass Pro Shop but for pets and livestock. They are incredibly helpful and can trouble shoot issues pretty successfully if you have the gumption to ask for assistance.

Today I’m so disappointed on the customer service I received. I called in my order ahead of time where I’ve spent over $300 and spent another $96 adding more items. The wait time of 30 minutes to get my order is uncalled for. As I write this review. I am still waiting. The staff was not apologetic at all even though I asked if another person can assist with retrieving my order. I am seriously use another brand. My receipt showed 12:41 pm I got here and at 1:15 pm of waiting I was told the canary seed is out and I already got charge. The lady cashier told me I have to get back in line in a rude way and I hope the manager will review this situation. My past memory of this store having excellent staff, however, my experience today is poor treatment and will consider no longer be going to this store.

It's our one stop shop for our dog, rabbits and chickens. They always have what we need and they are always so helpful. AND they have great pricing, load your car for you, reasonably sized bulk items.

I love them. I buy high quality cat food at a good price. I originally could only get my Hills cat food from the vet. My cat has a sensitive stomach and requires this type of food. Now I get it here. I also bought a discount card so I can get an additional discount off the food. I am very happy with this store and their vast selection.

I've been going to Rivertown off and on for many years. It is great for pet supplies, horse feed. I was there recently to talk to Bob the manager about wild bird feed. He was friendly,helpful and informative.Not surprisingly Rivertown is dog-friendly and they always have a treat for your canine companion.

At least once a month I go into Rivertown for some dog food everytime I go in the staff are willing to help me out if they don't have something in stock. They will. Special order it for me. they know what customer service is.

I regularly buy Timothy hay from Rivertown and the hay is pretty consistently a good quality. It can get busy on weekends so plan accordingly. All the employees are great. No complaints.

I love coming here to buy Hay for my bunnies it's affordable and lot's of goodies for my bunnies also. For my kitty I bought a beautiful kitty tower here and the price is affordable. So much stuff for your pets here. Staffed are all nice and very helpful. Much love for everyone here 😻😸🐰🐇

If you've never been to a feed store, I would start here. Whether you're looking for the most off the hook pet food brands, or bulk bird seed for your backyard feeder, it can all be found here. The place is super clean, the staff takes helpful to new levels and the prices seem sound. Their selection of pet foods is like nothing you've ever seen. Even if you're not looking for anything in particular, the place is just fun to walk around. And if you have kids, bonus when they have baby chicks for sale.

This is a great place for anything from hay bales to chicken feed. I worked with the staff on the phone a lot during the covid lock down and even under those stressful times they were patient and friendly. Also my papillon insists on getting his treats there😉

It's a fantastic historic Petaluma feed & pet store!!, so nice to be able to get what you want without going to one of the chain pet stores!! Love the location, and they seem to really try to buy things for a lot of different types of animal owners.
