Wonderful local store to buy quality food for my cats. She carries a number of different brands and researches each one so I feel confident I'm not giving my cats low cost filler food. With their healthy weight and diet they have rarely needed to go to the vet except for routine vaccines and when one got a fox glove lodged deep in his ear.In addition to food, Petaluma Pet Co. has a variety of treat options and lots of toys or accessories like brushes and collars/leashes. I shop here to show my support of a local business that cares about my pets health by giving me better quality food for a reasonable price than I would find in a chain.*What prompted me to write this review was because of a recent covid exposure I had. Rachel not only remembered the brands and flavors that I normally get but then made sure to deliver it outside as I pulled up for a pickup. I paid for it over the phone and now my cats have food for the next few weeks while we ride out this uncertain Covid storm.

New ownership since I was last there. They used to have some quirky items that made it part of an adventure when visiting Petaluma. Now it's just a pet supply store, and given the size there is limited selection.If you want to shop local instead of a chain store it's a choice, but otherwise nothing special.

Love this pet shop. The person working is always friendly and my dog has fun looking around and playing with the shop's dog. Cute selection of toys, chews, gear etc.

I love this store and come here all the time. They have lots of high quality food items and dog toys -- also food and toys for cats. Also a very dog friendly and fun place to stop right downtown.

Great customer service! They special order food for my dog every two weeks and they always remember to order it and they always let me know when it arrives. Top notch service!
