Always stop here on our way to Bodega Bay! Best selection of sourdough bread. Great deli. Hot food really good and fresh not at all like a cafeteria or other markets where food sits out too long. Check website for daily hot food items.

This is one of my favorite stores. Friendly staff makes the experience better. Good quality produce and a few items that I am glad are available to me, that's vegan and gluten free. If you partake in other foods, it has an amazing hot bar and salad bar with yummy smelling food. I have heard from many friends that the food here is excellent 👌, especially the breakfast burrito.

Amazing flowers and the BEST fresh squeezed orange juice I've had in my entire life! (Even better than Florida!) 😍🍊 They also have some great local desserts, i.e. cheesecake, chocolates, etc.

I love this market! The people are so nice and they have great deli and produce departments. I chose them over Whole Foods every time.The prices are pretty fair if you stick to produce, even the deli sandwiches are reasonable, but specialty items are ridiculous. I was going to pick up a small bag of high end chips with my sandwich, very small, and the price was close to $4/5 🙄🤪. Pass.

Market review: 7/10Good selection, great meat, and fair prices. It's about what you would expect from a mid size market. Not quite "Super" but still a good market.Food trailer review:You used to be able to get 3 big scoops of ice cream there for a dollar at the place out front, however it has been shut down for some reason. I think it has to do with a license. I'm still going to rate it highly because of the price and great ice cream (other items were also good). I rate 7/10.

Great place for some really good groceries. The meat counter and deli are top notch and although this place is expensive for most of the standard grocery items the selection is much much better quality if you want meat or deli items.

Great local grocery!Wine and cheese sections worthy of Sonoma County. Excellent meat department with very helpful butchers. They have amazing premade food for breakfast, lunch and dinner for those days when you just don't want to cook or eat out. Lots of individual cakes, pies, etc for the sweet fix too.Best of all are the employees. Such nice kind people. All of them.

They never ever have gluten free items. No gluten free bread, bagels, English muffins, muffins, cupcakes, cake slices, pies, or cheesecakes. They have one brand of single, individually wrapped gluten free cookies. That's it.

The hot bar at this market was surprisingly so good! I feel like usually hot bars are good but ok, and maybe I was extra hungry from a long bike ride, but the cilantro rice and barbacoa was amazing!

Excellent meat & produce. Very good but small deli (great sandwiches too). Lots of organics, local suppliers. Ready-made hot & cold foods, impressive cheese selection, great breads & desserts. Health foods, herbal supplements, etc.BUT: Narrow aisles, somewhat high prices, and parking at peak times may be difficult.A local favorite.

Down to 4 stars because of checkout. High schoolers interacting among themselves, talking about a fad drink he just tried, and then songs. Been there at their age, but I wasn't personally addressed until I was asked if I needed bags, and not again until I was asked if I wanted my receipt. Yet the banter was nonstop between the cashier and bagger. Was a very odd/different experience at PM that I hope is not a trend.

Love this local market. Really nice and helpful people , great produce and meat departments, also the deli looks really good. It's pricey, but if you're a Whole Foods shopper, I'd chose Petaluma Market every time! Support local markets instead of the Bezos empire.

Beautiful flower bouquets with natural local flowers and traditionals like roses. Best deli sandwich I’ve had in about 20 years. After not finding the ‘top rated’ deli, my idea was to come here after venturing in for flowers one day. A plus that it’s near our favorite breakfast stop, Haileys. I can’t find a good sandwich these days; either not the best bread, bland cold cuts. This one was perfect like I got when I was a kid. 1/2 sandwiches available and big enough with a bag of chips

Went to Petaluma to pick up a 1812 Von Rounders Pikefelter from that big two story antique store and once it was secured I went to the Petaluma Market Deli for a celebratory lunch.The deli there makes maybe the best sandwich in Sonoma county, Petaluma for sure! After that wonderful lunch I went straight to my pal Osborn the Tortilla Kid out there in Sebastopol, because he's somewhat of an expert on Trebuchets and he's the one to authenticate the Pikefelter.After reflecting on the day's activities I can honestly say that sandwich was the best thing that happened. ☆☆☆☆☆
