I needed to go to a grocery store and since I was closer to Lucky when running my errands I decided to go there. They only had half of what was on my list which was very disappointing. It is a nice store but much smaller than what I am used to. Employees were nice and helpful but I probably won't be going back there for my major shopping. UPDATE 3/23 I was wrong. I found myself back near Lucky and went in to get a few things and was very pleased. I got most of what I needed and will probably go back again. They have a lot of natural foods and also a good place for people with food allergies. UPDATE 6/23 Still shopping at Lucky. It's a nice store and the employees are very friendly. UPDATE 10/23 Still loving Lucky, go there whenever I need a quick trip to the store. It's not too big and everything is easy to find. Love their produce. 1/24 So much bigger than I first thought. They have a great deli with fresh meats, chicken, fish, etc. I am amazed because I usually just shop at one end of the store. They have so much more and I love going there.

I like Lucky a lot. It is always clean, well stocked and the people who work there are very friendly. Also, good selection of meat. We cooked a standing rib roast from Lucky for easter and it was amazing. They have a meat cooler with the deal of the week, I got a +7lb tri-tip for just over $20. Good stuff.

This place is so much better than the other location. It's bigger, cleaner and has a better selection of everything I've looked for. It also has a deli, a bakery and a prepared foods counter unlike the other location.The atmosphere is pleasant, and you smell flowers when you first enter the store. I especially love the produce section. Besides fruits and veg, there's a quality selection of salads, dressings, herbs and vegan novelties.The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I swear they used to have a sushi counter, which I miss greatly!

This Lucky's Bakery has made My Son's "Hamburger" Birthday Cake the Past 2 Years. This is one of the Best Tasting Cakes I have ever Ordered.We Put Our Own "Bobs Burgers" Toys atop both Years.By the Way, this is the Only Grocery Store Locally that Makes a 3D "Hamburger cake". Ask for Lydia in the Lucky's Bakery on Lakeville street in Petaluma.

The store is clean, well-lit and the employees are very nice. Their prices are soooo much better than Safeway or Raleys. They usually do not run out of of sale items and their house brands are good quality.

Great place. The staff is AWESOME. Older Lady in the Deli turned me on to Turkey Carnitas. I'm Latino but stay away from pork so now it's on. Check out Older lady also help me find Garlic butter for my crab. Wish we had this in Sacramento

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!if I could give this store a 0 I would horrible customer service the worst people who just sit around and never do their jobs. Horrible staff who don’t know how to do anything and just stand around doing nothing don’t go to this place. I won’t ever go back to this store due to how terrible the staff treated my family. I asked two staff members where something was they looked at me and walked the other way pretending I didn’t ask where something was I proceeded to look for the item I asked for and decided to leave because they were so rude. They didn’t even clean up something that was broken on an aisle, then proceeded to throw items around and saying lots of profanity’s. Will never go back

Out of all the quick rotisserie chickens available from grocery stores. Costco, Safeway, Whole Foods, Sprouts etc etc. Lucky has the best one. Their Smokehouse one is ACES. Always super tender, juicy, flavorful. The others are middle of the road or bland compared.

Waited 20 minutes to order a sandwich, it was lunch time 12:20, only 1 deli person working. She waited on 2 people, in Deli area that took her 20 minutes, all this time I was at sandwich order counter. No one else was called, finally someone showed up. Sandwich was ok, but roll was a little dry. It happened today, August 18th. Don't think I will be going to Lucky for a sandwich again!

This place is so close to my work I was very hopeful because it would be very convenient. I actually found a good amount of organics so I was excited. I go home and found out my broccoli was rotten. They had it wrapped in plastic so I couldn’t tell it was rotten at the store. I also bought organic mandarins in a bag and they were all rotten. Needless to say I won’t be buying produce from here again.I want to do an update. Yes the organic broccoli and the mandarins might be molded but there are some great things about this store:It's huge so I get the majority of my grocery shopping here because I can find just about all I need.A few other things I love: it has a huge parking lot, it isn't small so the walkways aren't crowded, it's super clean, they do flu shots, they have fresh bread and they play nice music while you are shopping.So I gave them a few more stars because I'm willing to give them another chance. I'm hoping they keep a closer eye on the moldy/bad looking produce and hopefully they get more organic options.

What I could say about Lucky's grocery store I like the upgrade of their new shirts with their workers they became more nice and kind towards there customers I was just there a day ago because I was coming out to Bodega Bay to go camping they're dry ice is a little expensive but it's worth it when you're coming camping. They have great prices on their meats and great prices on other items in the store if you had gotten it from another place I would suggest always look at Lucky's first.

In my opinion, the nicer and better stocked of the two Lucky markets in town. Staff are friendly and truly care about their customers and take pride in their departments. Tasty sandwiches and salads at the fresh deli. One of my favorite places to shop.

The other supermarket in petaluma. Important to note that this store often has items which safeway does not have. This market is quieter and not as busy. The stocking design is notably different, so, do not expect to locate items as you might in another store. Clean, friendly staff, plenty of parking. An asset to the community

No hand baskets anywhere in the store so you have to carry all items or get a cart. Only 1 checkout lane open with long lines. Most self checkout machines broken. No shopping bags at self checkout so you have to also carry everything to the car. Probably won’t be back.

Great all around grocery store staffed by wonderful helpful people. No, it’s not exotic, but I can find almost anything I normally need and I cook a lot of different style foods, international etc. The 5 for $5 meat sales are great ( buy 5 and each one is $5) and on a wide selection of meats normally much more than $5.

Great store. Huge. Great selections - particularly in the Meat Department. Great produce dept and deli.Staff is very friendly and the place is clean. I wish we had a Lucky's like this where I live. I'm going tocommute from San Rafael to this particular Lucky's in the future to do all my major shopping. Once Igot the hang of those elctronic self-checkout thingy's, I find them convenient and fast if you only havea few items.

I love it when store personnel assume I'm shoplifting because I have a backpack on.If you're houseless, & you go to the Lucky on Lakeville & Caulfield in #Petaluma, you too may be profiled, followed & disrespected by cashiers.Classism is wrong.

I like lucky a lot better than raley's and Safeway. Nice and roomy, clean and friendly employees.. got to watch some of those prices in there though, otherwise a lot of good deals, much better than Safeway and RALEY'S. I'll be doing my shopping there from now on. Plenty of parking also.

I like going to the pharmacy here because there is never a line and its fast, some of the employees at the pharmacy are not that nice but its fast. Shopping for groceries here is good, I like the selection and prices and we come here a lot actually, once a week to once every 2 weeks at least.

I went to go down an aisle. A browsing woman on the right was blocking that side of the aisle. An employee with a shopping cart was stocking shelves on the left side. He was bent over, and I said "You're blocking the aisle". No response. So I tapped him on the back and said it again. His response was "Well I have to work someplace". He didn't move one bit nor did he move the shopping cart he was using. Not a friendly employee.

Most things are great except the way the sliced cheese is displayed. I hate it as it is to hard to find what I want. When it was hanging on pegs I didn't have any problems finding what I wanted

I'm giving it a one star cause I can't give it lower. Don't go in there I asked them a question in reference to the bag ban and they made me feel like an idiot and embarrass for no reason. They were the ones that kept coming to me with it. I asked got a no said ok that's fine someone called the manager (which I didn't want to happen) made a big deal out of it and then came over and made a big deal while I was trying to finish my transaction. Then a couple more people came over and still made a big deal out of it. They said no and I was fine in the first place there was no need to continually do this. Horrible customer service to be treating people like this. I suggest you never set foot in this lucky it isn't worth your time

Luckys is over priced. So im pregnant me and my husband worked a 12 hour over night shift last night. We needed a few minutes to rest we sit on the grass area and then 10 minutes later a lady comes out on the phone looking at us calling the cops saying "there on drugs and sitting on are property" my husband did very tence and told her call the cops waste there time cops came we told them what we where doing what makes us mad is that they could of told us to move rather then assume. There is a lot of homeless that trash this place but why pick on some couple out of all the others

Today marks the second time a cashier clearly had no concept of what "perishable" means. All I asked is that perishables be kept in a separate bag. Not hard right? WRONG. Both times I've asked, I've had to re-bag my stuff. Its really sad when an obviously "older" cashier cant follow a simple request and gets upset when corrected. At this point I'd rather just go to Safeway for my groceries.
