Such a gem! It’s located inside gas station store. They have all drinks, basic grocery as well.We went to pigeon point light house for sunset and while coming back we stopped here for dinner. It’s authentic Mexican place. They have self serve salsa. They have vegetarian options which I always like to see. They do have inside seating as well as really cute romantic place behind for outdoor seating.Must try if you are around the area. Also the town is pretty cool too.

The prawn quesadilla was very floppy and unappetising but had a surprisingly good taste (4 stars). The flautas was crunchy but that's about it, it's not something I would recommend (2 stars). There were lots of flies and the toilet was out of service

Saw a YouTube video about this taqueria, although we did not eat there I waited in line to ask if they could accommodate us for a bday party next month for 30 people, and they said yes they can do party platters. They are cash only so make sure to have some on you ,everything I saw coming out looked delicious. This place is not hard to miss and hey get your gas while you are there it's a one stop shop, gas , food and groceries. Staff was very friendly.

Very delicious Mexican taqueria restaurant in Pescadero, CA. Menú is big and options available located inside a convenience store like gas station. Tacos, burritos, nachos, tostada, rellenos, everything you could want. The salsa and chips bar is inside the seating area for seemingly endless chips go up to help yourself.

Fish tacos were some of the best I’ve had. Grilled with a not too spicy salsa. Plate came with refried white beans that with great flavor and a big step up from the standard pinto beans. California burrito also had nic flavors.

Nice little taqueria. We got the pollo asado burrito bowl. The chicken was really flavorful, and we had no complaints. We will be back next time we are in the area. Nice, reasonably priced place to get food in a small town without many options.

I ordered a two taco combo. Comes with refried beans that I swear taste like Valentina hot sauce and some rice. They have Jamaica and horchata fresh waters and a self serve salsa cart. This is a cash only taco stand, but they do have an atm available. It shares the building with a convenience gas station store, but its worth trying! Super yummy!

Food’s meh. However my complaint is based on their payment system. They only except cash…which is a little ridiculous specifically in today’s times! But I digress. I went there with a friend. I didn’t have cash so I pulled some money out in order to eat. Later on that evening I was checking my account online and realized that their ATM charged me $8.25 to pull out $20. Absolutely ridiculous! My guess is that they refuse to except cards because they can charge people more money by having them pull money out. It’s a scummy way of trying to come up on people that are simply trying to eat their food. Which in all honesty the food is mediocre at best. I recommend Mexican food in half moon bay. Better tasting and they aren’t out to gouge people!

Found this gem just off the beaten path on our way down the coast. The staff was amazing and the food was incredible. The Chile Verde lunch plate was hands down the best I have ever had! Great job Mercado & Taqueria De Amigos!

Bit bizarre to me all the 5 stars here. The people were really nice but the food wasn't that good. The tamale didn't have enough masa in it and was dry and hard. The rice had a burnt flavor and the refried beans had a strange orange color to it (cheese?). The agua de jamaica was super sugary. The basic carne asada tacos with salsa were good, same with the horchata but everything else was pretty bad. Not sure if this was a different regional style that they were going for but it just didn't taste that great to us.

Cash only but damn do they have the best Mexican food in all of the Peninsula! Not only are their burritos delicious but their super nachos are definitely something you should order if your going with friends. Just split it and you will not regret making a trip or pit stop at this gem! make sure to get your ice cream after.

Very tasty food and we'll stocked little gas station/market. Decent amount of dining room otherwise you're eating out in the gravel parking lot, Wich isn't that bad of a proposition. Salsa bar is legit. I love this town and love starting and ending my visits at this place.

Last year I was on vacation and was told by locals that this gas station had the best burritos...they weren't lying. A year later and I'm still craving the California burrito I had here. The tortillas were fresh, the guacamole was amazing, and the chips & salsa were amazing.

Gas Station? Yes! Great place for a quick bite in Pescadero and a good alternate to Archangeli. Food is good and tasty for a Gas Station that one could easily miss just looking from the outside. There is a steady stream of customer during the weekend. They have several table that could fit about 30 people but they also have a picnic area in the back with around 8 table under a big tree that kids love to climb. Restroom is available- just grab the key from the cashier. Parking in the back of the restaurant and across the street.

Spent $6 on two (phenomenal) carnitas tacos. Everything everyone ordered looked great; you could tell the food was prepared with care. Not the cheapest joint, but reasonably priced for the area, and two of the best tacos I've been lucky enough to enjoy.

We were cold and wanted a bowl of artichoke soup, but Duarte's was closed on a Saturday evening--go figure. Then my partner said, "I know where we can go". He remembers when this place was a literally a hole in the wall inside of a gas station in the mid 90s. They served large meat burritos for $2.50 to mostly the local farm workers from down South (and also smart gringos.On the outside, it is still a gas station situated on a corner. When we walked inside, there was a counter to order tacos and burritos. There were lots of people lined up ordering food. The place was clean and also smelled of wonderful Mexican flavors.When I walked in the back there was a market filled with all the ingredients to feed a Mexican family. They had salsas; masa flour for making one's own tortillas from scratch; Mexican sodas; tall candles of the Virgin Mary; and cleaning products.We decided to get just one small item--a fish taco made from snapper, and it was delicious!!! I am making myself hungry writing about it.

Terrific place to eat! The staff were really friendly and accommodating and the food was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Service was unbelievably fast and the servings were really generous for the price. I’d come out of my way to eat here again!
