A charming goat and Dairy Farm located in the sleepy town of Pescadero. While the farm is small, their shop has an extensive array of food, souvenirs, and a very lovely shopkeeper. We enjoyed looking at the goats, cows, and one sleepy pig named Tony on a sunny afternoon. We even got to pet the cat, Lucy, who probably has one of the best lives of any farm cat. Be sure to pick up some goat cheese and other snacks because everything is fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. The upstairs space above the store can even be rented for intimate, private functions.

+ Cozy authentic place-oriented tourists. I bought them several varieties of cheese, Berry Nectar, bread and soap. We immediately tried cheeses with bread and nectar and we were very pleased. Soap I tested the same evening and I also liked it too (it does not dry the skin and I did not have to use the hand cream).- Be prepared that this is not a cheap place.- Also happy to buy Honey and Plaid Wrap from natural wool - but this you will not find here

Very fun experience! I love goats and had so much fun petting them and playing with them. They also taught us about the general operation of the farm and in the end we bought some goodies in their store. Cheese was fantastic and so fresh. If you are doing the tour make sure you have boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty with the mud/hay.

This is one of our favorite places to visit for a quick trip. It is one of the best kept secrets for locals! The farm is always so much fun to visit especially when the baby goats are just being born. They are so cute and you get to pet them. We love to check out the little shop and get a treat or some goat milk products. Sometimes it gets crowded on the weekends though. They have a nice picnic area near the pond that is great to visit too.

What a delightful place for a family to visit. About 10 miles into the country one will find this goat farm. Be sure to get directions or Google Maps for it is sort of hidden. It brought smiles to our face as we saw the pen with baby goats enjoying the sun's rays. The barn was equipped to milk the goats. It was closed but we peeked in to see the room where goat cheese is made.Word is the gift shop is delightful. Moral: call to make sure they are open.

Friendly staff. We'll cared-for animals that come right up to you. Very informative tour is by appointment only for an hour and a half. There's also a farm-to-table dinner option on certain nights. Looking forward to trying that next time.

Pack your kids and I don't mean little baby goats. Pack your in-laws or your friends and head on down to Harley Farms goat farm. We began our trip down the Coast from the farm. First I have to say make a reservation to go on the tour or else what you get to see is limited. many friends of ours have gone on the tour and have been completely surprised with the education and Fun that they had. We were able to pet the baby goats and then after went to the gift shop and bought awesome goat cheese with edible flowers. They have samples of all the cheeses throughout the gift shopperiod after seeing the gift shop head upstairs and take a brief look at their small event space which is adorable and makes anyone want to throw their next birthday party there. We bought a cheese to take home and we devoured it within 2 days.

All around one of kind experience here at this goat farm. Beautiful countryside views. Enjoyed hanging out with the baby goats-they were so sweet! Check out the cheese shop. Lots of goodies & treats. They let you sample most items. Left with a cheese log. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been to and volunteered at many goat farms and this was the saddest one I’ve been to. The goats are in a very crowded hot barn with not much room to walk around. No misters for them in the heat. Didn’t see any water. The adults looked sad and lacked curiosity which is a red flag. The dogs were exhausted and hot, and collapsed in front of the goats. Have never seen Anatolian shepherds behave like that. Can’t complain about getting to pet the goats for free. The shop has items like body lotion, soap, cheese and lemonade. The lemonade was really good. No one around except in the shop.

Goats!!! Small farm with maybe 50 goats. They will give a quick tour of the milking operation and have some goat milk products for sale. (Cheesecake, Feta, hand lotions, goat cheese, etc.) Worth a short stop. Free to visit, products are a bit pricey if you choose to buy something.

Is a great place to visit with kids. You can see baby goats with put tour. The tours are on the expensive but worth it. The store has great things the prices are high but is good for the experience. The staff is amazing and everything you buy in the store is great

🐐 BABY GOATS!! February is baby goat time at Harley Farms. There's all stages of preggo mother goats and tiny goats learning to jump and play, and you may even be lucky enough to witness a live birth!Inside the barn has been converted into a store with a small cheese factory tucked in the back. The store has all your goat cheese needs covered: rotating cheese types (I liked the garlic goat cheese), local honey, hot apple cider, and t-shirts made be local children that are adorable. The converted chicken shack behind the barn is the toilet, but has been nicely remodeled, albeit rustic. The entire operation is viewable, from goats, milking area, and cheese making. It's a simple but amazing setup! The barn hayloft has been converted into a private dining area available for reservation.Dee, the owner, is a treasure. Her knowledge and warmth seriously MADE the experience for me. We will be back!

Sign up early for the tour its well worth the $30 for a one hour visit . You will be taken through the different stages from meeting the goats, milking and seeing how the cheese is made to finally tasting the cheeses in the upstairs tasting room. The cheese is honest and genuine cheese and you can taste the difference ! I loved the chive chevre but didn't particularly care for the lavender cheese. Oh and have you ever had goats milk ricotta? WOW!!! They even make chocolate truffles with the goat's milk. If you don't catch a tour not to worry, much of the stations have signs telling you about the process. Go for a visit and plan on buying your fill of cheeses because its hard to find this cheese once you leave!

this place is so quaint! outside complete w baby goats neying at you, the area they sell goat milk-based products with a view into the production area, and esp the dining room upstairs in the barn!I wasn't in "dairy mode" when I arrived & next I'm in the area - the goat cheese (3 main varieties!) looks so good!

Do you love goat cheese? Do you love animals? Do you love shopping for hand created food and items? This is a dreamy stop in the tiny town of Pescadero. They've newly added a small herd of British Whites, their lovely black ears flap lazily out in their grassy field. Watch the store hours for this community. They're short! The Mexican food in the gas station hit the spot.

If you like small batch productions this is the place to get delicious goat cheese. My friend brought me here reaching about how good their cheese it. They also have honey, soaps, Olive oils, and balsamic vinegar. They do offer a few of their cheese to try. I got a spread and a small log as well as some of their dry rubs for meats. They have a beautiful room upstairs for rentals. Also when baby goats are birthed, they do sell some of them. There were signs of the number of pregnant females where the goats are penned.

We always stop here during any day trip to Half Moon Bay. Our favorites are the garlic and herb cheese and herbs de Provence cheese. It’s always so fun to see the farm animals. Their foods make such great gifts for out of town guests or a housewarming basket. Friendly and welcoming staff and it’s a great property to check out!

Such a wonderful dairy. The shop has lots of unique tasty goodies. Would be a great place to find gifts. We took a tour with Bob who was one of the best tour guides I’ve come across ever. And we got to hold baby goats!!!

Highly recommend the baby goat tour. You get to pick up the baby goats and see where their mothers are milked. Best goat cheese ever at the store after.

I must admit to being obsessed with goats so this is a no brained to visit for me. Today got to pet the baby goats 👏. One decided my finger was better than the apple but I didn't mind a bit. Could have sat there with them all day. Also have the cheese shop to check out and then visit the rest is Pescadero

If you're in the nearby town, this place is absolutely worth a visit. They have all of their Cheese's on display and samples are available. This includes a lavender and honey goat cheese as well as chive, herb and garlic goat cheeses. Prices for cheese aren't expensive, about $10 for a round of goat cheese, and that's a bit less than you would pay at the store. Plus, the experience is excellent. There is a petting zoo with little goats, and there is an excellent spot to picnic. They have several picnic table set out and you can use them free of charge. The really big selling point of all of this is the gorgeous English garden they have which also seems to be a venue for things like small receptions, parties, or weddings.

Pricey cheese but. Told it's wonderful. The goats are precious. The tours are great and fun with the kiddos. There is a lawn where you can have a picnic or a party. Oh, there is also wine tasting nearby.

Fun stop on a beach day in Pescadero. Pet some baby goats and farm cats. See lots of adult goats and big farm dogs. Get some farmhouse goods at their store and have a picnic lunch nearby (they have a few picnic benches around a small nearby pond). We got their chèvre in olive oil and it was delicious. They have many other goat-milk/goat-cheese goods as well as some good-looking preserves. The kids caught tiny frogs in the pond, then we headed to the shore for some beach time/tide-pooling (you can also just as easily have your picnic at the beach).

Cool spot. Seeing/petting the goats is fun and everything we got from the shop was delicious. We walked next door for some wine after after hanging with the goats for a bit. Great afternoon.
