When I got home there were two items on my receipt that I do not believe I purchased. I phoned to talk to the manager. What I got was a man on the phone, who did not answer with “Dollar General” or any other greeting. I had to ask if it was D G. Meanwhile a fax type ringing was blaring over our conversation which was less than 10 seconds. He finally said I had to wait. That he had customers. I waited and got disconnected. Thinking this was an error, I called back 4 more times with no human contact but after the phone rang the fax ringing started and all calls were dropped. My advice to anyone wanting to shop there is not to. My fault got not checking before I left, so I’ll let the $6.10 go but I’ll be darned if I’m gonna shop there again. Worst customer service ever.

This is the nicest, friendliest, cleanest most organized Dollar General I have ever been to. To be honest I was not happy that they were opening a Dollar General in our town because everyone I have been in was none of the above and it always felt trashy.Once ours opened I went in to give them a chance and have been completely impressed everytime I go in, which is at least once a week.Huge kudos to the Manager and his staff!!

The only problem I have with Dollar General is going in there to get one item and coming out with 20 items. It happens to me everytime and I never learn my lesson. They have a great selection of merchandise with awesome prices. The lines can get a little hectic. But, the quickly open another register if they do. I've noticed they are pretty good about that.The thieves that steal from Dollar General has made things pretty inconvenient though when you want to buy some socks or a razor. You have to get an associate to unlock the case for you and bring the merchandise to the register.Overall Dollar General is rad.

Very similar to most dollar generals...I got there at 9 it closes at 10...as someone who worked and managed in retail for years I understand being eager to go home at the end of the night...and I make sure not to hold up any staff on my behalf. They were basically pushing us out the door at 930. Other than feeli g rushed it was alright

Decent prices. Only issue is they always have issue with stock and dont have a genartor so dont expect them to be open all the time as penn valley gets more black outs then North Korea.
