Great vibe, amazing location, but very limited vegetarian options available.We ordered the smashed Guac and Salsa (3.5/5), Chili Poblano (3/5) and a couple of cocktails. Guac was too good but the salsa was average. Cocktails were great.The staff is good and the service is quick too.This place gets really busy on the weekends, so reservations are definitely recommended.Parking - they have a parking lot opposite to them where it's easy to find a spot.Vegetarian options: Very limited vegetarian options.

Maybe our new favorite down here. First off, did you really is amazing even buy a Pebble Beach Dining venue standards, and unless you are sitting inside parenthesis maybe half of the seating is outside parenthesis, you will have that view. The food is as you would expect, very very good. The Molé shop rugs were perfect, and my wife loved the steak and enchilada combo. Drinks also very good, maybe a little bit on the sweet side but That is consistent as the average persons cocktail preference to be honest. The tortilla chips were decent, not as good as a spot on Taqueria‘s would be but I doubt they have the bandwidth to make the round.Definitely coming back in the near future.

Excellent food, excellent service and excellent atmosphere with a great view! Was able to eat lunch here this morning with a friend. We arrived just as it opened so there was no wait and we were able to be seated outside. It was a rare sunny day in Monterey so it was nice sitting in the sun. We had the bloody Mary (called something else on the menu) but it was great. We split the short rib taquitos and the smashed guacamole and salsa, both were phenomenal! For lunch my wife had the pescado tacos which were super delicious and I had the fiesta bowl with chicken which was also super delicious. They had fresh jalapenos that I had on the side as well! Great food and the service was top notch as you would expect for the area.

Beautiful outdoors facing golf course. Nice fine dining restaurant with Mexican food. The taste was good and food looks exotic. Liked the outdoor seating with fire pit and heaters. That habanero sauce was lit 🔥🔥..for someone who really likes spicy 🌶️

Hay’s Place is a special place. The restaurant is part of Hay (Tiger Woods re-design) nine hole golf course. The food is Mexican and it’s nicely done. The view is stellar to say the least. The customer service experience is awesome…I can’t wait to return!We have been back many times! We love Hay’s Place…And the food and drinks are wonderful too.

The food was really well spiced, flavorful and well portioned.The server was great - friendly, and came multiple times to the table to check on us.However the hostess, Allie, soured the whole experience for us. She was impersonal and unwelcoming when we arrived. When we asked for a table at the patio, she declined even though there were 4 empty 4-seater tables at the patio, claiming that they were reserved. We asked her to seat us in case there were no shows.The entire 1.5 hours that we sat at the restaurant, not a single outside table became occupied. And despite asking Allie she never came back with information about no-shows.Given this and the lack of warmth which we were welcomed, we are forced to wonder whether Allie is uncomfortable seating guests who are not of her favorite skin color at the patio.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a Mexican restaurant at Pebble Beach - but wow what a surprise. The food was excellent! So much so that we went back again the following day.Gorgeous to sit outside in the sun on a nice day.

Amazing place for views, service, and quality of food. This place overlooks and is part of a golf course, so you get 10/10 views in addition to the beautiful pacific views. The food menu is semi-eclectic and pretty healthy. Although options for vegetarians is not minimalist, it's not extensive. Nevertheless, we found something to enjoy and had excellent service as well. Highly recommend! A++

Great views, food and drinks. In a clear sunny day you can see point lobos and pacific ocean and Carmel Valley hills. The 9th hole executive course is beautiful and well manicured. The hostess was no where to be found so the waiter, I wish I could remember his name, but he was a young Asian male with a tattoo on his hand was awesome. He checked us in, cleaned and readied a table and sat us. He also came to get us drink orders and served water several time. He deserves many kudos and recognition!

This review is from several months ago and only regarding the host. We've been going to Pebble Beach resorts for ~30 years and have eaten at all of the resort restaurants many times and have never experienced anything like this.My wife and I wanted to try Hay's Place and sit outside as it was a nice day. We told the host that we'd like to sit outside and he told us that we would have to share a table with others. We asked him why since there were several empty tables available. Again he said that we would have to sit and share a table which was unacceptable, so we left and went to Stillwater's where the hostess treated really well.We will never go back to Hay's Place!!

Food was outstanding and the margarita's are the best that I've ever had. Service was a problem. Ordered an appetizer, as well as an entree. There were three of us. The entree(s) arrived about 30 seconds after the appetizer. Then we waited about 30 minutes for the check. It was really awkward. Our server totally vanished. We had to ask a co-workder to find him to get our check. Weird. Had higher expectations from a service perspective.

Simple, fun, easy way to golf 9 quick holes (Par 3) with an amazing view. The hilly holes and undulating greens are really fun. The restaurant is a must for the view alone, but the food is good too. Add this newish edition to "Pebble Beach" to your trip.

I’m not sure what to make of Hay’s Place. It has some of the most beautiful views but the food quality for Mexican cuisine just wasn’t very good. They did make me a great non alcohol beverage that I thoroughly enjoyed and the customer service was alright. This might be a better place for gathering for drinks instead of dining here. Overall my experience was alright not as good as other restaurants here in Pebble Beach. But the views are definitely breathtaking. I would probably recommend having a drink on a nice day and check out the amazing views.
