Jeff (the pharmacist) hung up on me when I called to ask for help to transfer a prescription. I called at 3 PM asking him to call a CVS to do so because the CVS pharmacist said they need to speak to the pharmacist of the Walgreens to transfer medication since it’s another pharmacy chain. I was out of the medication (an SNRI) and needed help, urgently. He literally cut me off—saying, “no no no, I don’t have time for this! And they don’t have time for this (referring to the CVS).” So I just began to say I was confused but he, again, cut me off and rudely said, “thanks, bye.” Pathetic—he clearly can’t handle any stress, so lighten his load and don’t go to this pharmacy. He probably “wouldn’t have time” despite me calling at 3 PM and the pharmacy closing at 9 PM. Just pathetic, it’s healthcare…like seriously, it’s pathetic—no other word I can think of. He clearly can’t handle his job—I would not trust him or this pharmacy whatsoever.

Try the photo section for reprints and especially large posters and banners. They usually have some sort of Photo Dept discount that can really save! We use them for our community projects all the time with great results.

Wow, I'm officially changing pharmacies. The customer service is sad. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you. The first instance was when my doctor prescribed an inhaler for my toddler son that he physically cannot use. I now paid out of pocket for that prescription and I can't even administer the inhaler for my son. I understand, you won't take it back. But the pharmacist should have verified the age of my son and realized that he was not old enough to even use that inhaler that my doctor did not prescribe.Last week, I refilled my son's epi pen, again paying $100+ for it. The least I could ask for is to have an epi pen that is good for 1 year to cover his school year. I picked up the prescription and didn't open up the stapled bag on the spot, only to realize when I got home that the expiration date is for April 2024. Because I didn't check the expiration date at the pharmacy, there is nothing they can do. All of which I understand. Note to self: Always check expiration dates at the pharmacy from now on; actually, DEFINITELY check the expiration date if you're going to come here anyway.But when I call the pharmacy manager Jeff Wong and he instead raises his voice to me exclaiming my only course of action now is to check with the manufacturer, that's where I draw the line. He couldn't be bothered to even accept fault for giving me a prescription that clearly was expiring earlier than their other inventory (yes, the store checked for me on Monday). Have some common decency instead of masking behind a shady rule and shortcutting my son's life saving medication by 4 months time because you can't get it off YOUR shelf. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Just visited this location. Listing says open until 10pm. Lights are on but stores is locked up at 4:30pm. Guess no one wants to work.

Hello...I'm usually not the type to write complains and such but felt this should be brought to your attention. I reside in Pasadena ca 91107 area and use the store in Colorado blvd 91107 as a location to make purchases and sometimes designate as fedex location for picking up my parcels. Today I had a sour experience in the afternoon. This cashier...a female, didn't pick up her name but she has a green tattoo on her neck. She handled her job extremely poorly and was beyond out of line. Yes the store was busy and there were 2 of them serving customers so I waited my turn and asked them if they could help me with picking my parcel, was told we'll have someone come help...no one showed up after 15 mins wait, so I asked them so how long more I needed to wait, that they had served at least 6 customers behind me and this cashier blew up on me. Threatening me that she won't give me my package! That she's not going to leave her station to give me the package. OK, I'm sorry but there is 2 of you...close the register for 1 minute and give me the package or make sure help arrives. So when I asked her second time for help quickly she calls her manager like I was some sort of criminal. Who the hell she think she is. Manager tried to calm the game and gave me the package but the cashier kept going on and on...this is totally unacceptable behavior. You walgreen have a contract with fedex to honor their package delivery and hold so you need to make sure that customer is taken care of as well. That was not the case. I will Never set my foot in that store again. Even if it is close to my current residence. I rather go to fedex store than have the hold done in this walgreen.

My favorite Walgreens! Friendly knowledgeable staff throughout the clean well stocked store. The absolute best pharmacy team, Dr Jennifer always goes above and beyond, looking out for my best interest. I actually drive 10 miles out of my way just for this outstanding experience!

Pharmacist it was a guy don’t know his name over the phone was too lazy to get my prescription transferred from another location people move, I relocated to Pasadena waited 2 months per advice from Walgreens before asking for my refills at the nearest location only to be told that it will take 4 days. Pharmacist had no regard that if some people miss even one day of medicine it can cause them pain and suffering panic attacks etc Lazy guy, too lazy to call other store or just refill my prescription himself. What a shame. Hope he gets fired and replaced by someone who is caring and well deserving and a decent human being not rude and giving excuses and delaying prescription for 4-5 days. It’s the most common prescription in the world hello?

The selection at this particular location is awesome! Huge store. Plenty of stock to go around. Customer service could be a little better. But other than that it's really quite a place! ☺️💕💚

This is a review of the pharmacy itself. Store is wonderful. Horrible customer service. Rude pharm techs that don’t want to spare a minute to help out the Ill. They just push meds through and kick people out. Go somewhere else!

Large parking lot. The employees are always available to assist customers with their questions. The store is large with several departments, FedEx services and a full staffed pharmacy.
