Staff members names including the several ladies who are up to date on their OJ Simpson Lore, continues to elude my consciousness are always full of cheer, steadfast, welcoming and efficient at their trade. excellent store in terms of having everything but lines always big because this multibillion company cheaping out by not hiring extra cashiers. Instead trying save money by useless self checkouts. Been here few times mostly same big lines

I come to this store every week to buy some greens for my bunny. I often buy some scratches from the machine. Today, I won small and tried to exchange it. I learned the guy who helped me said something to a guy with beard and glasses at the self checkout. The guy at self checkout laughed so hard and looked at me who were standing close to them. I assumed they were making fun of me. So inappropriate, mind your own business! If you guys are really rich, share some of ur wealth with me, i am not rich yet that's why I am trying my luck!! If u have nothing to do help a customer!! I wish I could say talked to my face not behind my back....why there is no zero stars 😔

Kinda sorta gon miss shopping this ralphs. I liked shopping here late at night and I like that they have security. It's bigger than the regular Ralph's stores and so the aisles don't get all congested. Only thing is if you get picked up here lyft or uber or whoever, they get confused cuz there's 2 entrances on opposite sides of the plaza. I always told them pick me up off Rosmead side and they still went to the other (foothill) side but we finally figured it out. It gets busy so I suggest coming around 9 or 10pm . Reason for 3 🌟 is cuz I had a little issue with one of the staff once in self checkout when I went by in the afternoon. I realized she doing her job and went to her and apologized but I still felt some type of way sooo I had to say something...also some of the staff has spotty customer service skills. Like yea yall work with the public so I get it to an extent.

I deleted my last one star comment and re write a new one of a 4 star for improvement. I Forgive the workers (cashier) who are rude to me back then. Cashier that are judgmental can be change overtime. In addition this is a message I wrote to the manager.The business is rely on the right team player. The image and reputation of the company rely on the workers. If there is right “team work” there is growth for the business and all depends on performances of each team member; and the right workers will contribute the success. Others who don’t care how important is their job will bring stress that could be draining and if unlucky can shut down the company to the sad part. We all have different views in business; In my opinion I think Customers are always come first and although employees are important but customers they are the one who bringing profits for success. If you think about SUCCESS analogy is important to see the main point ….without customers businesses can’t generate profits to pay for everything ; salaries for employees and profit income for the employers to make more business. Therefore customers have the right to be treated well and get the help to meet their needs. Employees behaviors are very important especially to maintain good relationships with their customers. Companies are everywhere and people always can have a choice where they can get better services; business is business there is no personal agenda and all businesses are competetative. When you hire it means that the business is rely on you and you rely on the business too; the contract is made for business. Workers get paid for salaries and your bills rely on your income as well your family support that’s why it is important to keep the businesses grow. It is best to keep the business grow to help everyone employers, employees and most customers. Never take it for granted because some countries are needy for a job just to have little income. Think about it. If you are fortunate and bless we learn to appreciate it because not everyone have opportunities to create and make money in businesses. Know that there are people out there who are needy. The core value of being “GRATEFUL” is best principles having good behavior.

I like Ralph’s. But I gave this particular location 3 stars because every time I go there, there is some weird drama. The staff is always scrambling and yelling about something. There is also a weird smell when you first walk in the door. Like spoiled food. The back parking lot is super dark and a little sketchy. But they have everything I need and they are close and convenient.

Needs lower prices and more checkers, wish they'd greatly reduce the self checkout and add more checker employees. Nice staff at this store, they deserve a raise!

The self-checkout systems here are very frustrating to use. They added more of them so now the human cashier lines are longer. The food quality is pretty good and the prices are mostly fair. They are the default choice but necessarily the best choice.

I just love shopping at Ralph's Fresh Fare! The fruits and veggies are always fresh, and the store is well stocked and clean. I always find what I'm looking for. I can't wait for my next visit!!🙂

The Deli department cannot be any slower I swear! This lady got an attitude too. The cashier and the bagger don't say a word. It's like they're muted.

They have an awesome roast/fried chicken meal when it's fresh but typically they cook it at 1pm and then by 5pm when it's close to dinner time it's a warmed up mess that will most likely add to your list of bad decisions to regret. Need to mention the poor staffing of the deli leaving you considering a plan b for dinner only bested by the extra staff in the toiletries aisle asking you if you need any help with the body deodorants. Fresh produce prices are high but reasonable in the meat section. I personally love the self checkout area and the unbeatable automated voice "put your ....BANANA...in the bagging area". Overall a convenient market for the area and one of the better ones.

Well it’s official.I will never spend one single cent at Ralphs again..I was in the store this evening at 6:30 p.m making a purchase at the self check out. When I was harassedBy one of the store Clerks there. By the name of BenOver a ten cent Bag.Instead of him offering assistanceWhen he saw I was having a tough timeTrying to operate the system.He quickly rushed to judge meAs if I was stealing a bag. 🤣You know if I’m not getting bad rotten produce, expired product and not actually getting my items that a cashierDidn’t put in my Grocery Store bag and helping out some people down on their luck with cashHanging out side the store when trying to enter and exit. Lol 😂I did pay for that bag and got a receipt

Love this Ralph's. Great customer service, big, beautiful store. Parking in front and back. It's not the closest Ralph's to my house, but far superior in every aspect to the one on Las Tunas. Definitely worth the extra time.

The store over all is great. This is the main Ralph’s that I go to almost on the daily… but they really need to enforce proper hygiene etiquette when it comes to their employees. No customer wants to walk up to an employee at the place that they buy their food at to discover that the employee smells like the worst body odor they’ve ever smelt. Makes me think twice about if that person really does “wash their hands before returning to work” cause it seems like they don’t even wash their body. It grossed me out and I’m sure I am not the only person who has experienced this. And it wasn’t just like a one time thing either, this particular employee smells terrible like every time I see him, which like I said previously I come here almost every day, I’m not going to name names cause I don’t want to completely embarrass the dude, and there is no possible way that his coworkers and/or bosses have not smelled him cause it lingers some distance for sure. I will say that he specifically works the closing night shift and he’s not a checker, in case there’s any question about who it is exactly, hopefully that narrows it down. And hopefully my review inspires someone to talk to him and let him know in the most polite way possible that he needs to shower and put on deodorant before coming to work cause it effects peoples want to shop at this location.Thank you!

An interesting layout where the store is T-boned into the end of a strip mall resulting in a parking lot and entrance on the north side and a parking lot and entrance on the south side.

I give them 2 stars only because I drove 10 miles opposite my house, I got there at 1:45AM, and the doors were locked. Sooo aggravating, especially with these awful gas prices . So if they're going to make any changes or close early they need to update their hours on Google or the internet. It said they were supposed to close at 2:00 a.m. I drove here for nothing. So if your a late night shopper, make sure they are open before you go there and waste your time and gas. And that is why I give them two stars.

I tried to give zero stars but it wouldn't let me. It has been about 7 weeks since I decided to boycott Ralphs, mostly due to the deli counter. Last time I was there I took a number to get service and was then berated by the service member behind the counter, I asked why others went before who were not there before I was. The service member did not adhere the number system which they have set before their customers to get service at the deli. (This had happened numerous times, however this is one I'm choosing to review). When I asked the service member about it he proceeded to tell me I didn't do it right, apparently I veared to far away from the service counter, even though I was close enough to the counter to hear numbers being called out, and the service person said they were not doing the number system. And , then proceeded to tell me I was the one who messed up. Needless to say Sprouts down the way is 100 times better. They have Boarhead at the deli and are happy to serve. I stopped spending $6,000 a year at Ralph's and it has been the best decision I have ever made when it comes to groceries. Candidly, I hope this Ralph's goes out of business and we get a vons instead.

Terrible place!!!!I bought vitamin water bottles there today.They charged me $3.00 for 2 bottles instead of 3 for $4.00.The guy, Daniel told me there's tax and CRV.I understand CRV charge, but there shouldn't be tax for water.Daniel told me he didn't know, and sometimes they charge.Very irresponsible answer.And terrible manner towards his customer.Never go there again.

You can not return the alcohol drinks hire, even if you bout it in the same store, and there is NO any sign that the alcohol is NOT returnable merchandise. It is really ridiculous... What if you bought wrong item, that's it, you stuck with it...

Positive experiences shopping here and with staff. It is convenient to get to. In addition, they have self checkout which is very convenient except for the people who cannot figure out how to use it, but there are six stations so rarely an issue. Ralphs and Trader Joes definitely top my list. Sorry Ralphs but different stores carry different items, but I'm a regular customer. Keep it up, plus the people at the deli are very nice and the lady at the self checkout has the patience of a saint.

The absolute worst customer service ever on almost every occasion. Almost had a physical altercation with a customer that cut in line and when asked the assistant manager it turns out that was checking out customers to allow me to go next, he insisted that the gentleman in front of me was there the whole time. Tried not to argue but still there and was belittled by not only the customer who cut in front of me but the assistant manager that was on register that night also. when my wife asked for assistance outside because the gentleman that I exchanged words with was becoming aggressive and initiating a physical combative stance. The assistant manager insisted that we would be okay and that we should move along now. I tried to wipe that from memory and move on with life like anything else, my wife wrote into corporate and received no response. Today's experience top that one if it was at all possible. The gentleman working behind the deli counter help me with what I ordered initially and then when I asked him where I could get sandwiches he pointed to where the sandwiches were or the deli meats at least and at that point I moved along to that side. I stood there while he helped three other people after I had already asked them for a sandwich. when I asked him about the sandwich again he insisted that that's where the sandwiches were made but didn't bother to tell me that he was the one that was going to make the sandwich. When I finally got over the fact that I was there last or first and just asked if there was any way he could make me a sandwich, he finally accepted his lot in life and caved in. After almost a half an hour of waiting patiently and then finally making it to the self-checkout, the lip to the pasta salad came off and spilled all over the floor. I went back and got another one at which point he referred to me as hey there's the lucky guy. either these people aren't getting paid enough or they're being overwhelmed with the workload, but either way I won't be making it back there to find out how it all works out

Biggest, best stocked Ralphs in SGV. Can take time to navigate but checkout usually moves fast with added self-check out stations. Parking lots on two sides spreads the customer cars out but parking can still be busy on weekends. Arrangement of products in center aisles is not ideal to minimize walking and time in the store, but signage is adequate. Regular shelf prices slightly lower average than Vons or Stater Brothers but not at Walmart, Costco, Aldi or Smart and Final levels. Best to shop weekly sale prices in online ad flyer and use the phone app.

Cons: 1. Pasadena has higher Tax Rate so avoid this store. 2. They charge for bags when other stores dont. 3. They dont return karts timely. 4. The Store has a very unorganized layout compared to other Ralphs.Pros: They always have stock (cause its in a rich area)

I went there to buy a few items on a Saturday morning. I wasn't too crowded. They had everything I was looking for. I wanted some brown eggs and they were a little expensive. I will probably buy them someplace else next time. But it's a nice store in the people who work there are helpful and friendly.
