This is where I do all my pet food shopping, the location is very convenient. While the staff is always very nice and helpful, I do often find the shelves not stocked the way that they should be, while there are several carts with unopened boxes sitting in the isles. I specifically buy bird food there and cannot always find the product In looking for in stock. That being said, I still like this pet store and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Every question I had was met with informative and helpful responses, which made me feel confident in your staff’s expertise.However, there was one aspect of my visit that stood out in a way that was less comfortable. I noticed that I was the only customer who was proactively approached by staff to see if I needed any assistance. While I appreciate the attentiveness, it was hard not to feel that it was overly pointed, as I was also the only black person in the store at that time. This experience left me with mixed feelings; although the staff was professional and courteous, the approach felt somewhat exclusive, which was off-putting.

Customer service at the counter was great. I called the day before, and they held my crate for 24 hours . It was the last one!They could use some help on the floor, but they were busy. All registers were working to pump people out. Very clean too

Good location. App prices and in store prices are different but they can adjust your prices down if you show them your phone app prices. Parking lot is free.

I have been visiting petco for years and the worst service of all I received it today by the San cashier and its manager, they have a product on the sales floor that is not in the system and therefore they cannot sell it to you. They had no solution for this situation.I wonder:Couldn't they add it to the system?Don't they even make an inventory?The solution is to say I'm sorry?Do you have to wait for the owner of the store to solve the problem?Without trust, inexperience and lack of professionalism result in the customer's dissatisfaction. The truth is that I feel sorry for the quality of the service.

I expected a better variety of blankets as well as clothes for dogs. When I checked online it seemed I could order an item and it would be ready in two hours, so I thought cool let me go find it. Not there! I found something else, yet it would have been nice to see what was supposed to be in stock at the store per the website.

My family and I came to buy fish, since we had a small aquarium, the employee said that they would not be comfortable. I contacted my friend who had a large aquarium and the problem was solved, but the employee refused to sell me the fish, insisting that I had a small aquarium, and he did not sell me the fish. I do not recommend it, I was disappointed in this store. Today I will have a large aquarium, but without fish. You ruined my day and upset my children.

We just got a new puppy and within minutes of being there had a rep assisting us with what we would need.The guys in the fish department are also very knowledgeable of what fish can live well with whom, and what to feed which aquatic life.

I am a regular at this shop. This place is always clean and well organized pet shop. They carry frozen food for my pet. They're high quality and affordable. They're very knowledgeable and gives advise and recommendations for my pet. Exceptional customer service. Greatly recommended.

Product was there. But the items were not in the correct price slots. I never saw a worker on the floor asking if you need help. Waited 10 min just for check out while another employee pretended to open a reguster and act busy.

Came just after 7pm (closing time)… to watch staff members assist an elderly woman who was having difficulty with putting her arthritic dog into her car. To the staff allowing me to come in after closing time, because we found a fledgling on the ground and were waiting for our local wildlife to text us back on how to care… the PetCo staff assisted us in getting everything we needed… this was the best experience that I have had in years… thank you for hiring a caring team. (Btw… by the time we had the small cage with water & millet setup… our little friend/fledgling flew into the tree).

Surprisingly, in spite of the fact that the sign on the store doesn't work at night, this is probably the best Petco I've ever been to. Huge selection of... everything. They even had the somewhat rare de-mat tool that I was looking for that PetSmart didn't.This was the first time in a few years that I've been to this location, and is forgotten that they carry saltwater fish, frags, anemones, etc. Even saw a Snow Storm Clownfish.Good place - needed another cashier or two on the way out.

Bad customer service at this location. People don’t talk to you at all and don’t help show you to what you need. Bad labeling in the pet carrier section where they really only have one pet carrier. The rest are just slings or thin bags. Also engage in this weird price disparity between what the online store says and the in store price. They will price match but you need to know ahead of time. Feels like bad design. But that’s what you get when you shop at a big box store nowadays

I really love the service that I get every time I come to this location. Alex Wu did a wonderful job with my puppy's first grooming visit. Since it was her first time, he was really patient with her and slowly introduced her to the tools and the process. Our next grooming appointment is already booked!

Petco has been doing pretty decent since the pandemic started, they have been doing their best to have stock of food products for my pets, I was happy to have been able to at least find some dry kibble for my kittens, but bummed out that they still have Zero Wet food cans for them. I like the Royal Canin brand but because the company can't seem to meet the supply and Demand, I had to switch over to Blue Buffalo which is also a pretty good brand. My kittens seem to like the blue Buffalo Chicken flavor wet food more then the Royal Canin chicken flavor Wet food. Over all I give them a 4 star out of 5 for not having what I needed, I shopped at 3 petco stores and neither of them had the Wet food cans, 1 store didn't even have Kitten food at all Wet or dry.Overall I still shop here because it's only 3 miles away from my home.Update: 9/27/2022 things are starting to improve. There are still some shelves that are empty but I was able to find a case of wet food for my cats which left me satisfied overall. Again like I mentioned before. These pet store chains are doing their best to stock up as much as possible but I wish they could do better and also bring back some of the old brands that they decode to stop carrying because they were considered junk food. Makes it hard to shop even though I have a petco credit card for my pets. But since I found what I needed for the month I'll change my star rating from 4 to 5 stars.Update: 9/26/2023I was surprised to see no freshstep litter. I wasn't able to buy litter but i was able to get 2 out of 3 cats their dry food so thats good i guess. Not sure if we are going through another pandemic limitation or not. Just find it weird that even the dry food from blue Buffalo had a limited supply on the shelf.

It was great, the workers there were super helpful as I suddenly got a puppy and had nothing for it. Helped me get the right tools, toys, accessories, and food for my new puppy. Even helped with classes and vetco stuff.

Their return for amazon drop off section was unavailable at the moment and they didn't notify customers on their running website or on here on maps. It was hot yesterday Sept 12,2023 and I was walking to this place for them to tell me it wasn't working. Than I asked about the nearest place other than that would take returns and she didn't know. How Un successful with the service they provided.
