I cannot believe I haven’t left a review for PAM and her crew at Pasadena Pet! I’ve been going to Pasadena Pet for close to 16 years now and hands down they are the best in Pasadena! I wanted someone who would love and handle my dogs as I would when they are being groomed. I wanted a cage free zone with adequate supervision after their styling. Pasadena Pet delivers on all of my “wants” and exceeds my expectations each visit! If you’re looking for daycare fun or grooming needs give me a go! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors for the dogs to roam freely during the day. I have left my dog here for boarding a good number of times now for up to a week, and she tends to stay indoors which I love, but also has the choice to go outside whenever she needs to. Everyone who works there that I have encountered has been nothing but wonderful, and some even recognize my dog which makes it better knowing that there are people there my dog can recognize in turn.

My puppy has really bad separation anxiety. I was having a hard time finding a groomer and a place to board him because he kept crying when I left. I got called a few time 10 min after I left by other grooming places that asked me to come pick up my dog. When I walked into Pasadena Pet I spoke to Laura and she recommended that I speak to Janice. Janice was very nice. She suggested that I leave my dog for 30 min just to see how he reacts. When I came back my dog seemed like he was doing ok. She recommended that I leave for another 15 min. It was a process to get my dog to be comfortable with separating from me. My dog is excited to come here now. The grooming services are great as well.

I absolutely adore Pasadena Pet and have been using their services now for nearly three years. Their groomers have always been top notch and they always make sure my baby is clean and looking fresh. Pam, the owner, is so sweet with my little Daisy, and her staff always makes sure she look fabulous and adorable as ever :)I recently started traveling more for work and began using their boarding services. I wasn't sure how Daisy would respond since she sleeps with me in my bed every night and in the past I have been able to leave her at my parent's for a long weekend-so needless to say Daisy has been spoiled by her mama! But I decided to try out their boarding services and I swear, when I got back from a week long work trip in NYC, Daisy not only seemed happier than ever but she actually whined a bit when she had to leave the employees who had watched and cared for her over the past week!! I couldn't believe it-my Daisy, who has suffered from separation anxiety since she was a puppy was happy and not at all stressed!!Oh, and did I mention my first night away, I was very worried that Daisy wasn't going to do well in boarding and I messaged Pam in a bit of an anxious manner and she had her employee who was on shift Facetime me to show me how happy Daisy was. It was honestly as if I never left!! I couldn't believe it was my dog on the screen. And take it from someone who avoided boarding her dog because of seperation issues and worries that my Daisy wouldn't do well... I had nothing to worry about because I could tell my baby was happy and well taken care of. If that isn't top notch customer service, then I don't know what is!Honestly, I cannot recommend Pasadena Pets enough. Thanks Pam and the fellow Pasadena Pet team! You guys are THE BEST!

I've tried several groomers in the Pasadena area and finally found Pasadena Pet. Tracy, the groomer, is hands down THE BEST. If you have a dog that needs regular grooming and you want it to look its best, go and talk to Tracy. She and Janice, the owner, are really nice and helpful. Look no further!A plus is that the dogs get to roam around freely before and after grooming, to no extra cost to you, unless you wish otherwise.

THEY LOST MY DOGI had brought my dog here several times all with no issues.Recently I had dropped my dog off for a weekend of boarding. Sunday afternoon, while I was kayaking on a river without access to my phone, I received several missed calls from an individual who had FOUND MY DOG RUNNING ON FAIR OAKS.I immediately cut my vacation short and headed home to get my dog. The family who was able to rescue her was super nice and that could not have gone better.Here is the kicker. I expected a call when they opened Monday morning. Nope, nothing. I show up at 9am to pick up my dog. They look around for about 10 minutes, they have NO IDEA she is missing. When they finally admit it, I explain what happened.Apparently no one is there Sunday, as the nice family that found my dog tried calling several times and left a voicemail, which I guess is not checked after the dogs are left alone all day.While picking up my dog, the handler who was covering for the receptionist, stated the owner is not hiring professional handlers and hiring help for as cheap as possible and not wanting them to be trained. The handler also said this had not happened in “5 or 6 years”. So I guess this is not the first time.It would have been one thing if my dog got out and they were able to recover her and inform me. What I am really bothered by is no one had a clue, who knows how long she could be missing if I was gone a long period of time.They put the blame of the cleaning crew letting the dog out, as my dog could jump the counter, but there is a front door which can be locked so I don’t know how this is possible.You can drop your dog off here, but I don’t know if you’ll be able to pick them up.

Been taking my pup here for a few years now. They're great, excellent service and they care about our babies. I don't like they are not open Sundays or at least have an after hours pick up on Sunday. But otherwise, awesome place.
