my fat chiwennie with separation anxiety tried out a non aesthetic dental cleaning at this place! It surprisingly only took an hour, and now her teeth are so shiny you'd think she got veneers the back staff goes above and beyond to deep clean and combat that respiratory dog virus floating around. the staff is on top of it making sure that all dogs have the proper vaccines💉 in order to go into the play area and have rooms for dogs who have yet to be neutered or prefer to be alone ☺️☺️in regards to the retail area, it’s very aesthetic looking and love how cute the place looks everytime it’s a different season / holiday. various selections and cute selections of everything being sold ☺️☺️

So I walk in ready to spend $1,000 for services for my babies. I walk up to the counter where 3 ppl are behind. One blonde older woman walks from behind the counter, crosses directly in front of me, and acts as if I’m not there. I made eye contact with at least 1 person sitting in their office, the 3 ppl at the counter, and 2 ppl who came from somewhere in the back. The WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. I will definitely not trust them with my little ones.

I will never board my dog here again, place smells terrible of urine and some chemical, when i brought my dog home he peed 3 times inside in one day, i came to the conclusion that he was to relieve him self in his private space because the workers did not take him out every hour like they told me numerous times. Before each drop off, i asked numerous times to give him his pillow and blanket and they did not do it, i understand now that it’s because they don’t want to deal with peed or soiled blankets, if they would have mentioned that since the beginning i would have looked for somewhere else to board him. For grooming also both my pups came home scared from the loud drying tube they stick in their cage. No wonder they are always available.

I love watching Sydney on the videocam and seeing the interaction with the staff and the dogs. It warms my heart to see how many dogs get scratches on the head and pats. The place is so clean and the dogs have plenty of fun. It's mesmerizing TV. They also do a great job of grooming.

We love this place! Our dog is always really happy coming and leaving there and everybody is so personable. They have little cards you fill out for how long of a coat you want and if you want nails trimmed, teeth brushed etc. and then they keep it on file. The groomer we've gotten is so nice and always comes out to greet her. I also love that they have a window through the wall where you can see the groomers working on the dogs and the doggos all seem really calm and happy. 10/10 recommend!

This place is horrible. They literally had one good quality about them which was Alex the groomer and he left, the daycare service is trash, they literally mop the floors with god knows what chemicals WHILE the dogs are in there. Ive been sent “wellness updates” with the wrong dog and wrong photo on several occasions and the daycare staff are not attentive AT ALL. I will never bring my dog back there again. One star is honestly too much.

We used to love taking our doggies here for daycare and boarding. We had one senior citizen dog that stayed there a few times before he passed away in 2019, then we got a new doggie in 2020 and were happy to send him there for daycare, socialization, and boarding. But in August of this year, we discovered that they had been putting him in isolation due to some sort of behavioral issue. I understand dogs, especially young ones like ours-- have issues, but my issue with K9 Loft is they did not notify us he'd been acting up while there, so we were completely in the dark. Apparently, they were taking these isolation precautions with him for several months without letting us know. We traveled overseas in late June/early July and boarded our doggie there without knowing all they were going to do was lock him away by himself. When we retrieved him, he was skinny and depressed, and we didn't know why. Several weeks later, we brought him back for an overnight stay, and he was digging his heels in not wanting to even enter the building. When my wife asked what was up, they nonchalantly said something to the effect of "oh yeah, we've been isolating him since he got aggressive with another dog in January." Needless to say, our trust with this establishment is broken. Had they been proactive in communicating issues our doggie might have been having when they were relevant, we could have addressed them, but now there's no way we'd ever leave him here for any reason.

Boarded my dog there for 2 days in August. When we picked her up she had Kennel Cough. I complained to the facility and was told "that's the risk you take when you put a dog into a facility". They would not offer to pay the $110 vet bill, nor would they improve their cleanliness, ventilation, screening procedures, etc. You pay your money and take your chances at this place. You have been warned.Oh...one other thing. Notice that all the 5 star reviews are kinda the same writing style with NO DETAILS regarding the experience. "Nice staff, caring, my dog loves this place, blah, blah ,blah." Very suspect.

Great caring staff. Their monthly teeth cleaning events are the best for maintaining clean healthy teeth for your dog. A "report card" is given by on-site veterinarian after every cleaning to let you know if there are any larger dental issues that require attention from your veterinarian. After cleanings my dogs have fresh breath & white plaque free teeth. I highly recommend this service.

If you love your dog don't take them here. I took my dog here so that he could play with other dogs and it was his first time there so he had to take the temperament test. After passing the test we left and didn't check the camera's until later in the day. We checked around 4:30pm and didn't see him in there so we figured he was eating dinner. We checked again around 6:30pm and still didn't see him so I called to check in. I was on hold for 5 minutes after asking where my dog was and when she came back on she told me that after an hour of him being in daycare (we dropped him off at noon) he was removed because he seemed "overwhelmed" and was "snapping" at other dogs. I told her this was strange because he goes to daycare every week (where we can watch him on camera) and has been to numerous other daycares and we have never heard or seen any behavior like that. Nevertheless, she told me he was placed in a room by himself all day and had human interaction about every hour or two. That's probably his worst nightmare. The reason we took him to doggy daycare is so that he could play with other DOGS because that's what he loves. My biggest problem is that I was never called and informed that he had been removed from daycare so that I could come get him. I would never want to leave him in a room by himself all day while he can hear other dogs playing. I'm extremely disappointed in how my dog was treated and how I was not informed. I will never be returning to K9 Loft. I also want to add that the daycare had a strong aroma of pee and during his test we witnessed multiple dogs go to the bathroom and the girl in there, along with other dogs just walked through it without cleaning it up.

K9 Lofts took such great care of our puppies! Evin and the K9 team kept us up to date with daily report cards during their boarding stay. This took a huge weight off our shoulders because we knew they were in great hands. A webcam is also available to check on the pups during the day while in the daycare area.10/10 recommend. Thank you K9 Lofts Pasadena!

I have been very pleased with the services at K9 Loft. The customer service is provided with care and kindness. My dog was a bit skittish at first but has warmed up to the caring staff. The products in the doggie store are of wide variety and reasonably priced. Her grooming by Jesus was top notch and he treated her with tenderness. Theres plenty of parking here as well. No hesitation with the 5 Stars!

When I first took my dog to K9 Loft, I loved it! The staff was extremely nice and helpful and made me feel like they really cared about the animals and the owners as well! Due to the niceness of the staff, I began leaving my new rescue at the doggy day care quite frequently when I went to work. However, after one 6 hour stay, I noticed my dog seemed out of sorts when I picked him up...somewhat lethargic and just out of it. I assumed it was due to an overly energetic day at doggy day care. When I attempted to get him out of the car, he yelped loudly when I touched his back, and couldn't walk up the stairs to my apt. I immediately knew something was severely wrong. He even nipped at me if I tried to move him once he got inside the apt. Long story short, I called K9 Loft right away, and was told nothing happened and everything was great. I took him to the vet the next day, and discovered he had a soft tissue back injury and was told to keep him down for two weeks while administering anti-inflammatory pain medication. He's finally recovered, but after two or three phone calls, still no one knows what happened and swears everything was great. I understand accidents happen and it could've been just a fall from him being overly excited, but to have staff working that day not know or see anything, and for him to have an injury like this, really infuriated me. Not only that, it really set him back quite a bit in terms of trust and comfort w/people considering I had only had him for about 7 weeks when this happened. Needless to say, I've never gone back, and I really wanted to like this place.

We bring our dogs here for both grooming and non-anesthetic dental cleaning. They do a nice job of both, and ask details like type of shampoo, length of cut, etc. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I also like that they're good about reminders for your appointments and quick to respond to inquiries.

Horrible service! Did a one day boarding and asked for shampoo the following day to pick up. Told me that they will call when finished but never got a call from them. Nor a text msg. I Called around 4pm, and told my dog is ready for pick up and also told me that she called my cell and my wife's cell several times when I don't even have one missed call from them. When we picked up our dog, she charge me extra 30 dollars for being 4 hours late. Boarding, shampoo, and being late cost me $150. Worst place to take your dog.

We find this location convenient since its next to whole foods. We groom two dogs here and occasionally they will forget to put on the bandana or not get the haircut we quite wanted but overall we are happy with their grooming services. The best part is my crazy 5 lb "tiny terror" Pom is able to be groomed here with no incidents yet. We have also done the teeth brushing they offer once a month and it seemed good. They have classes and boarding but we have not done either.

We use K9 Loft's daycare service and have been really happy with them. They offer three free visits, and have store hours that work for our busy schedules. It's professionally run and they have a webcam to check in on our pup every so often. Glad that they're close by!

Everyone is friendly enough. But I just found the facility somewhat messy couldn't tell if it was dirty, but if I had a question chances are it's probably dirty. there was one woman they're kind of looked at me out of the corner of her eye like "what are you doing here" but everyone else seemed to be quite nice. Linda is the 1 who is grooming my dog and she seems wonderful check it out

My two dogs, Brandy & Ruby have been staying here for years. Like the email updates I receive since they are “no play” and get boarded separately. They always get a bath and brush at the end of their stay! Great service to get. Also get a multiple dog discount on the boarding daily rate.

I was in a pinch to find a daycare for my pup, and K9Loft went above and beyond. Registration was quick and easy, and Amy was super helpful and informative about the process. It's evident they care so much about each and every pup that walks through their doors. I feel so lucky to have found them, and my pup can't wait for another playdate with his new friends!

The First Aid and CPR class brought me to this store. Although the class was beneficial and informative, the room they placed us in reeked of dog urine. There was no way around the smell or a window to open, unfortunately. The staff is friendly and always willing to help out with products. The prices are comparable to the average large-scale pet store, but I like the small business homey feel of this place.

I really wanted to like this place. The store is clean, the staff seems friendly and the toys and food appear to be high end. I took my dog there last week for her first "day care" experience in anticipation of a trip we were taking over the weekend. When I picked her up her coat looked like she had been wet and she stunk of urine so bad I was gagging. She stunk up the entire house that night and I had to take her for a bath the following day. Even worse, my usually happy energetic puppy sat in a corner and looked depressed all night long (maybe she smelled herself). I have since read other reviews that mention time outs and dogs lying in their own urine. Yuck - I don't even want to know what my little dog went through. Anyway, I promptly cancelled the boarding and will never set foot in the place again. Too bad, it is just around the corner.

Just picked up my 2 dogs after having been shampoo’d, teeth cleaned and groomed. After paying a small fortune, they both smelled badly, there was no grooming, and their breathe was awful. My older dog seemed traumatized. I don’t know what happened in there, but i will never visit them again. Someone should investigate the staff. Dn’t Be fooled by the beautiful space.

My dog Ziti loves K9 Loft! It’s been several years since we used K9 Loft because we moved but recently came back to the area. K9 Loft is the only place I knew that had non-anesthesia teeth cleaning performed by a veterinarian. Ziti stayed for daycare and had a great day! We’ll be back again soon!

If you want to get your dog back covered in its own poop then go ahead and board your dog here. There were four staff members and non of them cared that feces was attached to the back of our dog for definitely more than a day. (The store manger that was in charge tried to wipe him after we complained and it was completely solid, meaning it was there for a while). It was blocking his passage and he was suffering from not being able to relieve himself. We are glad we had a very short trip, otherwise we could have gotten our dog in a lot worse conditions. The real kick was when we walked out to our car and I looked inside the store, the manager and the other employee were smiling and laughing right after we left.

I enjoy the company of a Westie otherwise known as a West Highland White terrier. I have been regularly going to K9 Loft in Pasadena and I appreciate the great people working there and the kind service that they provide. I can depend on them and that means a lot. Thanks

My dog Scout was attacked by another dog at K9. K9 didn't even tell me after he was attacked because "he seemed fine." I only found out after I saw him bleeding that night, and called them to find out what happened. The wound got really bad, and I took Scout to the Vet. The vet shaved him and found that the wound was significant and now infected. I can't imagine the attack was as minor as they made it out to be.I fully blame K9 for failing to identify what was clearly a serious incident. K9 Loft needs to have better practices and policies in place.

Can I give no stars? They groomed my 10 month old Labradoodle...poorly. I talked the guy in the morning when I dropped the dog off at 8am. I said what I wanted, more or less, and the groomer Jesus gave suggestions. I said "ok, if you think that is best." When I picked the dog up I was shocked. He did the opposite of what we talked about. The dog looks ridiculous. The cut is uneven and obviously unfinished. I cant believe anyone who cares about dogs or their job could do such a careless job and charge money for it.I just left and will not go back. No one else should either.
