The .99 store is the ONLY place to find my favorite stain remover! They even had a perfect size trash can with a step opening. I've been shopping at this store in various cities for over 35 years and I always find something I NEED!4-24-24 UPDATE: What I NEED is for this store NOT to close permanently. Alas, I will not be getting my wish. .99 stores are closing very soon. Fingers crossed California gets a new owner for our beloved store!

Kicked us out before we got in. Lady said "Sorry, we're closed". No duh, that's why we here. Never coming back.

5 days to Christmas Day, we have two registers open and the line is almost hanging out the door. I speak to the manager and her attitude was "I got two open and that's all I can do now."I advised her that I have a mental condition/ anxieties and that it is hard for me to wait a long time in a line with all these people around. I asked her if she could help me to get out of here sooner and she told me to wait for a minute, she'll talked to me in a minute and disappeared into her office.** THIS IS HOW THE MANAGER TREATED A PERSON WITH DISABILITIES. 😥When I'm leaving the register some guy stated I'm not a CUSTOMER anymore since my food was paid for. OH MY GOD!My two to three times a week is now driving further because of this.😡

The store is nice and clean and well stocked, but I didn't see any shopping carts, and at the checkout, the line was unbelievable. After waiting for a hard minute, I think it was the shop owner, who finally came to my rescue!

I hate it's so far the to the closing of other favorite 99 cent on Alondra and Long Beach Blvd..now it's only this one and the one in Carson that are my favorite!

The 99-cent store offers a wide selection of daily-use items. Including Groceries, school supplies, gift boxes/bags, household cleaning, and other supplies. They also offer fresh produce, dairy and so much more. Everything in these stores is clean/organized most time. If you are on a very tight food budget you must give them a try. Always very friendly staff and fast service. All in all, a very good place to get some cheap items.
