The worst.I looked online and I called before making the 30 drive to the Palo Cedro Rite Aid. I wanted to make sure the product was in stock. I spoke with a man who informed me that it may have been delivered however it takes up to 3-4 days for them to get it unpacked and on the shelf.I ask if they could look on the delivery manifest when I got there and find it, that way I could purchase it today.He said "Yes". When I arrived, about 1hr later, I inquired with "Renee". She said that they do not received a delivery manifest and that I would have to wait until everything gets unpacked and on the shelf and that will take 3-4 days.I explained my prior phone conversation with the man and thats why I had come all the way down to the store.She was defensive and did not understand why I was a little frustrated at having come all the way down here and had been told something that was not true.

I was seen at Mercy hospital in Redding and was Diagnosed with kidney stones. Doctor gave me a Prescription for medication for breakthrough pain. Came to the Rite AI'd here in Palo Cedro where I have just moved to 3 weeks ago. I was treated like was a Drug Addict asked what was it for? Why was I coming here. Have I every filled this type of Prescription before? WHERE? why? Do I have any Opiates at home? They are calling the Hospital to Verify that I do have Kidney Stones and I need the Medication for Breakthrough pain if the Tylenol doesn't work. How unprofessional I'm 62 yr old a Retired RDA in Dental Profession I know a about Pain Medication and how to take it.

This is the worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Many times the medications you need are out of stock and it takes days to get it in. When the medication does finally come in, it takes another day for it to be filled. The communication is awful! Costumer service is not the best either. Either they don't know what is going on or they are short with you. Go to any other pharmacy!

Avoid this pharmacy. Absolutely garbage. I have no idea why I keep getting things filled here. Prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be. This is the slowest pharmacy and at least half the time they will not fill your prescription until you physically show up even after you call to verify the prescription is there and being processed.

Unfortunately they are very short staffed but always trying. Everyone that complains is awful. Rite Aid didnt run the small guy out of town they paid them very well and consolidated operations

this isnt right now they have the telephones shut off so if you need to no about your script you cannot call they do something different every month and what if you need a covid-19 shot

I will never use their pharmacy again. My time is valuable. I received the text alert saying my prescription was ready for pickup. I get there, but then I'm told I need to wait until the pharmacist gets back from lunch. So basically the "prescription ready" text message was a lie. Not my first bad experience with their pharmacy. From now on I will drive all the way to Redding before setting foot in this store.

After reading the MANY poor reviews this pharmacy has received, I can't say that I'm surprised. I live in Shingletown and I often get a text notification informing me that my prescription is ready, only to find out upon arriving, that my prescription is NOT ready. This has been a common occurrence. If the owner or manager of this pharmacy truly cared about their customers, they would spend less time apologizing to their customers for their HORRIBLE customer service, and instead, actually take some steps to fix the issues.Prescriptions are NEVER filled in a timely manner. Communications are woefully inept. And they seemingly never have enough staff to handle their volume.And for the amount of money this pharmacy obviously makes, you would think they could hire enough qualified people to improve their operations.I give them one star , and even that is being generous.

Same issue as everyone else. A simple antibiotic prescription called in by the doctor for a painful ear infection took 2 visits, a phone call and 30 hrs to fill.Rite Aid, surely you understand this level of delay is unheard of at other pharmacies; I have to assume you have some corporate performance metrics, if not empathy for customers' time and health.

The pharmacy doesn’t even begin to prepare the prescription until you’re at the window, the tech told me it’s because so many people no show. So expect a long wait or being told to come back. Customer service gets a 0/10.

Carolynn in pharmacy is extremely rude and very very unprofessional.I will call corporate office to discuss this matter. Had a medical emergency and she told me to leave . The pharmacy staff even apologized for her saying she’s having a bad day / problems at home. The most amazing experience we have ever had.

On my fill date they said they were out of stock, had to change meds and get a partial. I work out of state a few days a month and schedule around my fill date. The partial fill conflicted with my out of state work schedule.Called to ask how I get RX filled in TX because there was a possibility I’d be in Texas past my fill date.The Pharmacist Mark instantly started accusing me of trying to fill early, which I told him I wasn’t, but was trying to figure out how to fill out of state. He interrupted me numerous times and was aggressive and rude. Every time I started to speak he would interrupt and talk over me. It was absolutely ridiculous.After a few minutes of this, he finally listed and understood my question. He’s by far the rudest person I’ve dealt with there. Text book case of discrimination. I don’t know what his deal is, but he’s out of control. His behavior seems to be the current trend there.

I give Rite Aid at 1 star review and the reason being but they get a one star review is because I can't give them a 0 star review so. Many times I have been on the phone waiting for them to pick up and they've hung up on me for instance this morning 9:32 AM.I was on the phone with them for 10 minutes and they hung up on me and now all of a sudden. They're phone's busy and has been for the last 10 minutes.Another time I spent 35 minutes on the phone. I had enough time to drive from 35 Minutes Away and get to the Ride. Aid pharmacy before they even answered the phone and then by the time they answered the phone I was literally standing in line waiting to be helped

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with in my many years on this earth. My husband has physically been there for 5 hours and they are incapable of filling a prescription, after I had verified they had it in stock before transferring to them. Won’t get it this evening and needs to be started within 5 days of symptoms (which is today). Ugh

My wife's dentist called a prescription in to this place before he started the procedure needed. So a couple hrs later on the way home she stopped by to pick it up and it wasn't ready. So a few hrs later I went there to pick it up for her and they told me it still wasn't ready. Right after I left there, they sent a text and said it was ready. So the next day she went by there to pick it up, just to find out it still wasn't ready. The prescription was called into a different pharmacy and it was ready before she got there.

They've won the award for worst pharmacy ever! 4 years running! So far behind all the time they dont start a prescription fill until you are there waiting. Cant even keep vaccine appointments. I feel bad for the few good, friendly employees they manage to keep. They always have an "I'm sorry we're terrible " look on their faces. So glad to be changing pharmacies.

Call at 9am. I have a kidney infection and was in the hospital. I need my antibiotics asap. They said give us an hour. I live 30 miles away. So I come down and hour and 20 minutes later. Nope.. Give us another 1 or 2. Absolutely not! I told them I'll be waiting and need them now. I was already told an hour! They're rude and don't seem to care.

Have never had good customer service with the pharmacy. No one ever answers the phone, so waste your time and drive to get told your prescription is not available and they have other orders ahead of yours. Will be switching to a different pharmacy from now on.

Don’t ever trust the phone system when it tells you when your prescription will be ready. This pharmacy can’t even get the day right, let alone the time. So many wasted trips that I can’t even count. Especially with todays gas prices. The pharmacy staff doesn’t care at all about your time or inconvenience.

Won't be filling my many prescriptions at this location again. A new provider accidentally called my prescription in to the wrong pharmacy. When I called this rite aide to have them get it transferred-because that's what the pharmacy it was sent to said to do- the person who answered didn't want to do it. She needed me to look the Safeway number up, and then told me "why don't you just transfer it to another Safeway?" When I told her that that particular store was where I filled my prescriptions, they sighed and said with a lot of annoyance "it HAS to be rite aide?" At which point, my autistic self felt tears starting to form, so I told her nevermind, I would just have it transferred somewhere else. And I will. I will handle the added mental stress, spend the extra gas, and put the extra miles on my car because it wasn't convenient for that particular person to do their job helping an autistic person get their prescription transferred.

Called to change from another RA pharmacy. Helpful speedy service, text to confirm perscription was ready the next day, drive through took 3 minutes with a very pleasant greeting and wish for a Merry Christmas. They did not clean my windshield, but what more could I ask for?

This pharmacy thinks they know more than your own Dr. They refilled my Rx 5 times then decided to not fill it properly and then next time not fill at all (I thought it was an honest mistake the first time), and decided I didn't even need to know about either. You will be dismissed and judged based on your medication, whether it is off label use or not. So I guess a pharmacy tech knows much more than your Doctor these days. Wish I could give negative stars!

Called ahead last week to transfer my prescriptions because I moved. They checked it out, ran the insurance and said it would be ready. They called and said both were ready, I drove 40 to pick up and signed the computer. They only handed me one prescription. I asked about the other and they said they don't fill narcotic prescriptions from doctors more than 50 miles away. I said I called any we went over this ahead of time.After calling the assistant manager because they don't have anyone above that, I get told the same thing. Which means I have to go see my doctor 300 miles away to have him fill out a new prescription and to sign a new contract for a different pharmacy where I can try again because apparently calling and asking questions means jack.After that they were rude and basically forced the other prescription on me, I would have refused if I knew both were not being filled.People pretending to do a job and in control of others. This country and the supposed professionals in it are whats wrong.Your a pharmacist you fill what the Dr. prescribes not what you want. Your not the dr. This is malpractice, and medical discrimination.

I just moved to the area and chose the closest pharmacy, mistake. I've never been treated so poorly or spoken to so rudely. Prescription transfer was anything but smooth. I will be looking farther out for better service then they offer

I bled a shocking amount after my COVID vaccine. I never had a shot hurt so bad in my life. My arm swelled twice the size and had a lump for almost two weeks. I asked a nurse about it and she informed me that he stuck it too high on my arm. Wouldn’t recommend going here for any vaccines. This wasn’t fun.

Probably the worst pharmacy known to man. Unless you have no other options, I would recommend going somewhere else. The wait times are incredibly long and the staff works truncated hours. Be warned, the hours on the website do not represent the actual pharmacy hours. Steer clear at all costs.

Pharmacy is the worst we’ve ever used, slow refills, bad customer service, got hung up on several times while just trying to get a simple question answered. Even if this is your closest option drive the extra few miles to Walgreens and avoid this place.

Today was the 3rd time i visited rite aid on Deschutes when the older brunette lady (i assume the supervisor or manager) has spoken to me in the rudest, most despicable manner! She complained that i was taking too long in the store...i bought over $200 worth of merchandise and was only there for 15 minutes. She followed me around the store as though i was attempting to steal something, which would have been virtually impossible being 110 degrees outside and my outfit consisting of no more than yoga shorts and a tank top and my purse is basically a large wallet. She made me so uncomfortable i finally asked her if she'd like to hold my purse for me. She is the nastiest, rudest old snot I've ever encountered in "customer service" and i truly hope someone pisses in her cereal! Other than that....rite aid is great!! Lol they have amazing body sprays!

Yikes! Hands down the worst pharmacy! It lacks all the friendly, small town charm (our town’s population is 1,100). If you enjoy rude, inconsiderate staff that seemed annoyed by your presence then this is your place. It might appear that you’re the ONLY person in the store an hour after they open and THEY have texted you that your rx is ready, but they will treat you like they pulled an all nighter and your the millionth customer of the day. And your rx? They can’t find it. I won’t bother you with all my stories (oh, I gave this place more than one chance). Save yourself a headache and head to town. You’ll save time and your sanity.
