Very disappointed that the manager on duty (?) could not even take 1 min or even 30 seconds (!) to answer a straightforward question about the Amazon return process. After waiting at the customer service desk for a few minutes, this staff member from 7-8 paces away just pointed to the Amazon Kiosk (he did not come over to the customer service desk). I indicated that I need to talk to a person. He then said very loudly (again, from 7-8 paces away) “you need to use the box like everyone else.” I asked him to not be condescending and he said “have a nice day!”Very disappointed to not have experienced the basic courtesy of someone answering a simple question. Not the cheerful, customer-oriented Whole Foods service experience that I have been accustomed to for over ten years.

I'm very disappointed at customer service at this location. We had the baby with us and needed to feed her and, after asking for support/information from customer service, we were completely dismissed. Appalling really!

3/3/24 dirty tables. Overpriced. Too much junk. Hava Co4n chips used to be .53 cents. Shelf says $2.99, register rang up $3.99. Small salad from salad bar was $20. Didn't buy it. Thanks globalists who are ruining people health and happiness

I neither admit nor deny being the guy who bought all the Oat-ly... Parking tends to be a nightmare, so I just hoard the goods these days. Need to keep my addiction to golden milk fed or I will loose it. I don't regret it. I do tend to leave about 4 bottles. So you may get lucky.

Why do i keep hoping their packaged salads are going to be fresh??? Why would I even expect fresh food to be served at a Whole Foods?? Notice these photos were taken on Feb 3 2019. The salads I bought had a Best date of 2/5/19.But the greens were spoled. Like the stuff you find in your freezer from a month old.Shame on them!

A good local WFM in convenient neighborhood location. We count on the quality of their produce and a great selection of food items. Our favorites include chocolate croissants, multi-grain SEED BREAD, a variety of apples, ginger root, organic green peppers, 365 organic plain organic Greek yogurt, lentils as bulk-items, fire-roasted tomatoes in cans, vegan and vegetarian frozen entrees, STRAUS mint-chocolate chip ice cream and more.

Whole Foods has improved a bit since we started going there. We were apprehensive when Amazon acquired the chain, and indeed, the character has changed somewhat, which I know has made some customers less happy. We are quite satisfied as the products that we are interested in have maintained their quality and the staff remains helpful and knowledgeable. In comparing prices with other high-end establishments, we believe that they are competitive.The wine selection seems to have become more generic.

Out of a lot of items on their shelves. Discontinued carrying the salt free turkey at the deli. For their customers who are not supposed to have salt in their diet. This is the main reason some people "shopped" at whole foods. Very disappointing 😞

Lovely store with many options for a healthier diet. The staff is well-trained and nice. And if you are hungry, grab the salads and food from the hot bar. There is a nice table structure just by the entrance door. Free parking also available.

I like to use the self checkout at whole foods since Covid starts. However until now it doesn't improved! The same item with multiple barcodes on the product has the scanning issue showing "item not found" and once it shows the error, you won't be able to check out at the end until the stuff is coming to enter long numbers to unlock it. It is very inconvenience! It has been 3+ years, they don't improve the product packaging nor their scan system.The Stuff was chatting with other workers and no one stand by around the self check out area. After coming to check the error, she just said I scan the wrong barcode. If there are multiple barcodes on the item, how the customer supposed to know which one is the right one?? If she knows, why she doesn't report to the upper level and resolve the root cause. Very bad shopping experience here.2/28/2024 Updated : The stuffs there are not helpful, not support returning services and let all return boxes all over the places. I feel the place is getting worse.

I drive here from Sacramento everyday just to shop at this specific location. Gasoline is not offered here but they have great fish instead! The boys over at meat department make the best chicken cordon blue I've had in my life. If you are having trouble finding the peanut butter, I found it by the jam.Zach was very friendly.

My neighborhood grocery. Not cheap and always crowded but I can walk to it. Selections have gotten less diverse since Amazon took over. I prefer the larger whole foods on El Camino and Piazza's on Middlefield if I'm driving. Produce is pretty good and prepared meals are popular with the start up crowd.

Used to be known as “Whole Paycheck” as prices were very high. But since Amazon bought out Whole Foods prices are reasonable and there is more organic and eclectic choices

The sandwiches were unimpressive - not a ton of meat and extremely tough bread. I think Subway makes better sandwiches, which is kinda tragic. I also found the "no artificial nitrates or nitrites" marketing deceptive, since processed celery powder is virtually identical. Finally, the music was glitching and cut in and out every 2 seconds, which was really distracting. I don't know why they didn't just disable the music so the store could be peaceful.

This is the original first Whole Foods store in California! It has the unique vibe of a smaller store compared to Los Altos one for instance. Good parking lot facing store, in a location otherwise difficult for cars. Awesome staff and great quality products, many of them organic.

Pleasure to shop here and now that Amazon owns it there are real sales once in a while. Great for a quick meal from the hot bar and their sushi is delicious. Excellent cheeses and olives.

Good Whole Foods. Palo Alto prices and Palo Alto selection but parking is easy and almost always available as never too crowded. Street parking is usually available in limited quantities.

I like Whole Foods Markets it is pricey, but I believe the quality is good better than anything else I can’t get around here so I’m at Whole Foods in Palo Alto probably three times a week because I like to shop fresh and of course the store is not as big as other. Whole Foods stores was kind of makes it easier to get in and out and stuff as usual very professional, and kind.

The Palo Alto store is managed by a fantastic person and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is an older store - narrow aisles and a small store overall. Nevertheless all the goodies packed into the small footprint have satisfied my family's needs for 10 years.

7-22-23 1000 - I bought a cake at the bakery dept.. I asked if she could put any writing on the cake. The lady said she does not have a decorator on to do it. The lady also said that she could do it but does not guarantee it will look good. I asked if they have a card to stick on the cake, but nothing availableMolly market has a card if the baker does not know how to decorate. At least a card will do.Thanks

Excellent customer service, especially bakery department!!!!! Cake was damaged (icing got stuck to box) and customer service graciously did a return transaction and I got another new cake. Staff was super understanding and helpful.
