While most major grocery store workers are rude and indifferent, this Vons is one of the worst. I'm not sure why the people pulling the on line orders are so rude, but in this store, they'll run you over if you get in their way. God forbid you ask a question. They'll ignore you as if they're too good to answer. I wonder if they realize they're pulling groceries not curing cancer. Rarely enough check outs open even during peak time. Shelves are often empty. If other stores carried what I need, I'd never step foot in there again. I don't understand why everyone that works in this store is so miserable.

Usually they do a pretty good job, however my wife and I purchased some seaweed salad and did not realize it was dated for 01/04, also the man named Brett bagging our groceries kept continuously coughing without covering all over our groceries during checkout. Overall gross experience

Ordered a cake from the bakery and I asked for certain things due to my child can’t eat certain thing today was his 8th birthday and they put it 18th birthday and put fruit in the middle that I didn’t ask for had to scrape the one off

Produce was out of the small watermelon cups. I asked Tyra if there were anymore she went and had them cut up some more located me in the store and gave me the cup!! I really appreciate what she did, it was thoughtful and kind. She was AWESOME!!

This is the worst grocery I’ve been to in long time . Each and every time I come this place they’re so rude, it’s really disrespectful . The cashiers are rude, the produce department is rude, the stockers are extremely rude and do not like to be bothered . The person who puts the carts back was even rude !! This will be the last time I shop here . I won’t be spending my money at an establishment that so rude .

The Starbucks inside it nice, they have a table so it’s like a real Starbucks not a grocery store kiosk Starbucks. And vons has bathrooms without a combination lock or employee key to enter.

Typical grocery store. If you're buying alcohol it could become a pain when there is only 2 check stands open and their busy. They don't tend to call any help or the front so be patient. Overall the store was clean and well kept.

Good sales happening often. Well stocked on items, even on items that are on sale. Friendly and helpful staff. Check out lines can be a little long at times, but they do keep moving. Plenty of parking available.

They don't take care of customers. I ordered a cake and picked it up right before my adult son's surprise party. It was a Raiders football theme so all decor was black and silver. The cake was a Raider Nation logo and it was not black and silver. It came out green and blue. It was computer printed so I don't know how that happened. I had to keep it because his party was that day. I've been trying to get a refund ever since . Customer service told me to just go to the store for the refund but they give me the runaround every time I go. It's ridiculous. Online they tell me one thing but the store says another. I'm very unhappy.

Review from 3 years ago: I like that their deli is open early like around 8am. The staff at the deli and bakery are always nice and helpful. I wish the meat counter had a bell or something to alert the staff when they are busy prepping meat. The staff that stock the shelves are very helpful and actually go look in back if you ask if they have anymore. The cashiers also know what they are doing.Update: Recently they have hired a lot of new staff. They are friendly and try to be helpful but they clearly aren't experienced. I used to love coming here because everyone knew the store inside out, but now it's kinda hard to get someone who's knowledgeable enough to help with out-of-the-ordinary questions and requests; though the managers are very accommodating to the customers. They also aren't as prepared as they used to be in the mornings, I'm not sure whether it's due to the new staffing, or they have been cutting hours, or they have been taking more time to clean due to Covid but it's not as convenient to do morning runs anymore because I just end up having to come back later when things are ready.TIP: This Vons has the best beef cuts in the area. Steaks, stew meat, ox tail, ribs... really meaty and fresh.

Good quality products all around and a well maintained store.Great people and great service.Usually, making a run to a warehouse store for bulk items and then a stop at Vons for everything else takes care of most of our shopping needs.The pandemic got us to try the online shopping. It is really convenient and efficient. We may continue to make use of that if they keep it going, as it is a great time saver.Have been a customer for years and hope to be for many more.

Always great variety of quality food and never disappoints.Deli and bakery peeps are the best!The main manager is very accommodating and truly focused on giving great customer service always opening up new lines to get people through and getting items in three store you request. Store is always clean!The newer employees there seem happier than the ones that have been there for years. That probably goes with any business.I minused a star because they are a little higher in price on average than say Walmart, but if you are diligent and only purchase their deals it evens out.But Rancho Vista Von's still rocks!

Here's my update ... This front end managers are still clueless ... People yelling for help and employees standing around ... other than that ... Good selection at this store ... The staff who work the meat dept. do a GREAT job ... The only problem here is the cashiers at checkout throw your food around ... also bring your own bags because the baggers don't have a clue when it comes to common sense.

Deli service is great, love their bow tie chicken salad. And fried / bake chicken is great too.Fresh seafood and produce. Maybe little pricey but get their app and you earn rewards points that can be redeemed for free items. Staff always friendly, nice supermarket!

Very Large Vons. Busy on Sunday afternoon. We go to a closer Vons by our home usually. This had different crowd. Found everything easily. There was a nice helpful lady in Floral. TY for your help!!

Overall great store. Very clean and Vons pharmacy has a wonderful staff. I appreciate the short waiting times and Karina's friendly service. And their pharmacist Jeanette has always been so sweet and very knowledgeable. By far the best costumer service in Palmdale.

Great service, nice clean store, good sales specials. Checker was very friendly and helpful. Loss of 1 star because most items are higher priced, for regular priced items. I only shop there for the sale items.

Bought some flowers n used the coin star very nice and convenient. Great customer service.So my current experience here has been horrible I was told and item would be restocked the next day and now they are bull shooting me because no one wants to do their job.

Went to Trader Joes first but failed to see what the hubbub was about. Opted for Vons instead and am pleased I did. Pretty good prices and even better with the member discount! Good assortment of all sorts of things with very nice and helpful staff at this location in Palmdale!

They are trying , in my opinion . Shelves are pretty well stocked , Lines can be long at times, albeit they move pretty quickly..I went today... Good selection and generally plentiful....Except, no bags!!!You can't bring bags with you either.I might suggest you leave some bags in your car...At the very least you can put your grocery's in bags in the parking lot

I always enjoy shopping at this Vons compared to my Vons closer to home. I go on Fridays for Fab 5 and the $5 sushi. I have never had any issues, clean environment, sushi always fresh.The reason why I gave it 3 stars was not because of something that happened to me but another customer. Pretty observant to my surroundings and I saw an elderly lady walking back and forth in between the end of the aisle and the front registers. Her hands/arms were full because she most likely came for one thing and did not plan on more (it happens). I saw her walk back and forth like 4 times like she was lost but with all of the things in her arms. She passed by the girl that many times concentrating on trying to find her last item so she can get out, an employee walked by her and neither one of them had the nerve to get her a basket. I got out of line and closest was a hand basket. I sprayed it clean and helped her with placing her items in the hand basket. I still offered if she needed a shopping cart I would go get it for her. She was thank full and it seemed easier for her to concentrate on getting the last thing she needed. It is nice when people help each other out but I expect more out of the employees to be more observant of their surroundings especially when things like this happen. I am dissapointed in this Vons because I go out of my way just to go to this one. I hope they read this and truly improve. I will be back and trust me I will test it out.
