I recently had a custom color match in Palmdale, but I needed a paint that was not stocked yet so they sent with my custom color match label to get the 5 gallon paint mixed in Lancaster store. Unfortunately Lancaster mixed a totally different color than the label said, I was told to take it up with Palmdale since they did the color match. I returned to Palmdale where I met a gentleman named Corey. Corey handled my issue with great compassion and empathy. He truly cared about what had happened. Even though he did not do the color match or mix the paint, he was trying to find everyway to help me get what I needed. He went to his manager to see how he could help. Unfortunately he could not take the return for the paint because I bought & mixed it in Lancaster store. He custom color matched for me again, then sold me a new 5 gallon bucket correct color at a generous discount for my peace of mind, when he didn’t have to do that. James the manager, has a true gem in Corey. He cares about his job and truly has the best customer service! Also, thanks to James for working to resolve my issue, I will never shop at Lancaster store again.

Came here to get Fiddle Leaf fig plant. Their was about of dozen of these in front of a sign that said 39.99 originally 69.99 when we go to check out they are ringing up $44 when we ask if they can fix the price the manager says the tropical plants are on sale and the girl at check out says people must of moved them there. Wow that’s a lot of plants for people to be misplacing. They were ALL the same. The cashier if you can even call her that. Went right back on her phone instead of trying to find a solution for us. You have no idea how easy it would have been to steal because she is at self checkout on her phone. Enjoy stealing when she’s there. The home depot in Santa Clarita would have apologized and corrected the price for us. Customer service is going to trash. Welcome to 2023 I guess.

I stopped by at 7:36pm to pick up.an order, they were closed. When I called earlier, I was told they close at 8pm on Sundays. WHY did they lie, wasted time and gas.

Went to drop off a rental, had to wait over 20 minutes to get an employee that worked in rentals. They were calling the employee nearly that whole time and he was nowhere to be found. Had to walk the tool around the entire store instead of being able to use the side door to the rental office because no one was there.

Always pretty happy with shopping here. Selection good, stores clean compared to stores downtown and staff is smiley, friendly and helpful. It didn't get 5 stars bc I think we are too quick to hand out that 5th star and it's kind of brought down the whole ratings system. Earn that 5th star, instead of pointing walk me to my item I'm looking for, do something special for the experience.

Not a single staffed register open when I was in a few days ago. Only self serve was open. I don't like having to perform the duty of checking myself out when I'm neither their employee or being paid to do so. The 2 employees who were at the self check area were talking to each other while customers paid more for product and paying customers were doing their own checking out.

Most employees I’ve encountered there. Mostly female are so rude. Don’t explain anything. Act like they don’t want to help or be there. Only one guy I found nice there. It was a manager. But everyone else makes me not want to shop here. Management should hire better people or check those employee attitudes. It’s so unwelcoming.

Worst experience EVERY at a Home Depot. NOBODY there knew what a “Spring Tension Hose Clamp” was… let along where in the building I could find one…PS: O'Reillys was suggest by a customer at HD… and guess what, the kid there knew what it was and was able to find them.

My son in Colorado had checked the inventory at our local home Depot (west Palmdale location), and had found a gift that he wanted me to pick up for my husband and his father.Upon arriving at the store, the item was not on the shelf. So I went to the service desk to see if we could locate where the others were in the store, as their store inventory was showing two available at this location?The service desk called up an associate named Tammy who gladly accepted the challenge (not kidding when I say this because the associate asked her. "Hey, are you busy?", and Tammy replied "Not for you." ... Great Answer Tammy), to locate this item.Tammy literally spent over 20 minutes walking from one end of the store to the other. Checking every possible display where the missing inventory could possibly be placed. As she would pass by me, she would give me an update on her search. Never leaving me wondering what the heck was going on. I was always in the loop . She even went to the back and checked that all the back stock had been put out and that it was not hiding in some corner in the back. Sadly, Tammy could not find the missing inventory but she went back to the garden department and helped me pick out a comparable item.Thank You Tammy, My husband absolutely loved your choice.Tammy, you are amazing....Absolutely AMAZING!In my opinion, customer service like this is becoming a unicorn item, meaning this is a rare and valuable employee that you have here.I was a manager for over 10 years and I can tell you that my 20 minutes with this employee allowed me plenty of time to assess what kind of person Tammy is.She brings positivity and a getter done attitude in everything she does. She's a wonderful influencer because you can tell straight out of the gate, that she is not a pushover in any way shape or form yet, she will absolutely influence those around her to do their job and do it right.She leads by example. And she does it with a smile. Not only is she all that but she's exceedingly humble, which is again a rare attribute these days . This girl should be running your entire store.... Seriously You've got a winner on your hands!And one final shout out to the gentleman who checked me out in the garden area. I believe his name was Bernard... I could be wrong though. Anyway, he was a sweet kid. It was freezing out there and he Never complained. Only helped me out efficiently and with a phenomenal smile and warm fuzzy customer service. He is definitely another asset to this location and another reason why I will take all of my business to you guys first. Thanks again everybody at the Palmdale home Depot. You're awesome sauce with a cherry on top!

You can buy anything at Home Depot except for the appliances. Based on my experiences the delivery guys are pigs when handling the merchandise and the return policy is in their favor. This last time we purchased a set of GE profile washer and dryer when I received the delivery the washer was banged up as if it was dropped. I was never able to connect or use the dryer because I needed the washer. A week later we received the replacement washer and upon connecting everything the dryer made a grinding noise. By then more than 48 hrs had passed and I wasnt able to exchange or return. So know I have a brand new dryer that already needed a repair..

Purchased an almost $900 water heater from Home Depot only for me to discover that it's damaged after almost installing it. Such a hassle to lug a 165 pound piece of machinery that's being sold for full price back and forth. Absolutely ridiculous and wouldn't waste my time again at this establishment.

Lots of employees standing around but none of them doing anything. Not a single checkstand open so they expect you to check your own items out for them. The parking lot is full of trash and has carts everywhere because the lazy employees don't bother with that either. 10 out of 10 would not recommend this store.

Our "Home away from Home". We've ordered A LOT of items from this store..Delivery on Garage Doors was MUCH longer than stated BUT the product and Installation was great. The new outside doors were expensive. Installation was LONG and they don't close like they should..some things you think will get better after settling in..Nope..

Apparently they close when they feel like it. I showed up on a Sunday at 7:00 and before walking in the workers are shouting out we're clothes were closed.There was no advance notice indicating they will close early.

Awful customer service. Was asking where I can find item. They did check it on their phone and told me to "search this area" (couple rows of very small items). I spent 1,5hrs and I did not found it. After that I'm was waiting 30 minutes for guy who will cut my lumber . So i was in the shop for 2 hrs and did not find what I was looking for. I bought one piece of lumber in 2 hrs. One star is too much for this people who 'work' there. Waste of time.

Worst experience ever!! Had an online order for laminate flooring and molding. Broken pieces, incomplete orders and having to deal with a staff that has no clue of what’s going on. They had me come in over 4 times and the replacement items were not here. The worst part is having me wait for over 1/2 each time just to be told that the items are not here!It got to the point that I reached out to corporate and no response from them either. Completely inexcusable and complete incompetence!!

I just stop there o my way to the 99 cent store. I am from Michigan visiting here for the winter months.We dont have a 99 cent store in Michigan. But we do have a Home Depot store there. I was just looking for paint for my friends home where we are stay for the winter. It was very clean and there employee are great at helping you out when you ask or help.

After going to a different major name store for a water heater this Home Depot gave me some relief. Angelica in plumbing was so nice and very helpful and knew exactly where everything I needed was and walked us to them to ensure we made the right purchases! Thank you and will definitely continue to shop at the Home Depot
