Nice supermarket that easy capable giving Kroger some competition.Clean layout with just as good if not more selection than Kroger series of brands. Doesn't seem to be as busy, maybe I visited in less busy hour.Aldi is good for pricing and string-line deal, this chain has lot more as supermarket. See some of the photos for yourself.

Don't have supper stuff liquid for cleaning anymore and i didn't walk through the place to look at everything they do have a new place at 20th st. West and AVE J in lancaster by dede's and CVS store use to be a furniture store there AT&T store is on the corner of their but when they did the streets fixing them they made it hard to get in the parking lot.

Well kept and great selection. I was surprised at how many workers there were, making sure the shelves stayed full and neat. Not one employee greeted me or asked if I needed help though which was really surprising and disappointing.

Love the stuff here..store is very clean customer service in the store is not the greatest. I asked a question and the girl directed me to 2 aisles and rushed off and I still didn't find what I needed. The cashier lady was really nice though.

My wife and I love shopping there because of the friendly staff, However, yesterday we experienced the worst customer service from a new young lady at the cash register. She was rude to my wife and throwing our groceries around when packing, even dropping some on the floor, which I had to pick up on my own. We will keep shopping there but will avoid this young lady. She does not belong there. Everyone else is very friendly!

This used to be a great friendly place to shop, went there everyday, the cashiers were great. Now they have so many new people, who really are not friendly and hurry past you in the crazy event you might just stop and ask them for help. God forbid they see you pull out your food stamp card and need bags, cause they will stuff them to the brim and they are heavy as Hell, just to make sure you don't need more than 2. I will switch stores going forward.

It's always clean and well stocked, and the employees are helpful. Prices aren't bad either. Just wish it was closer to my house and not so close to the mall because the lines can get pretty long.I recently went back to this location for personal shopping( last few times was for work) and I have to change my rating because on this day one of the cashiers AND the store manager treated me very rudely and embarrassed me. I never felt so humiliated and never waa treated this way by any other grocery store.It was around 9pm and i was shopping when about half way through i felt my blood sugar beginning to crash. (Type II diabetes) I went up to the front to get a cold drink where one of the cashiers asked if I was ready and I said no I still have a bunch of shopping to do and I appreciate you down the aisle toward my car. I started to drink the drink but because of the mass situation and because I was starting to be symptomatic, I went to the ladies room for privacy to get my sugars up. A second later, the door pushed open and one of the cashier's. Came in and loudly told me that I am supposed to pay for that drink and I can't bring it into the restroom. She spoke loudly and she spoke down to me like I was a child which I did not appreciate. Even when I told her that I was diabetic and I needed a few minutes and the drink to avoid passing out, she still was very rude to me saying that there are signs posted like i couldn't read. I just told her fine I would put it in my cart it was right outside the ladies room, to avoid confrontation, and she said okay.Unfortunately it takes about 10 to 15 minutes for my symptoms to get under control, but when I came out of the ladies room my card was gone. I started to look around the store a little bit and then I went up to the front. I asked very kindly if anyone had seen my cart, and the store manager was very rude and said "yup, it's over there in the corner". I asked her why my cart was moved and she actually said "because we're about to close" and just turned her back and walked away from me. It was 9:15 p.m. and they close at 10 p.m. She was extremely rude, and spoke down to me, and wouldn't even look me in the eye when I was trying to speak. Obviously I couldn't make a complaint against the cashier when she also was treating me the same. Due to this, I went around the store and put back every single item that I was going to purchase aside for the few items I told my roommate I would get. The cashier at checkout was kind and he apologized for the way I was treated because, of course he and everyone else in the store heard them, and I was very upset. I never was treated so badly just for bringing a drink into the ladies room because I was diabetic and didn't want to pass out in the middle of the floor. I will never shop there again personally only for work because I have no choice, but those people should not be working in customer service. Even when I said to the cashier that I was going to make a complaint, as I was leaving the store, I actually heard the manager talking about me and laughing saying that I wouldn't. I hope they see this review, I hope the owner see this review, and that they know that the night manager at this Smart & Final doesn't know anything about customer service or even just polite human behavior. So rude...smh

Smart & Final has really stepped up its game. I'm probably betraying my age, but do you remember when you would just go to the S&F when you needed a big tub of ketchup for a bbq and that was about it? Well, I do, but no more.Shopping club experience without having to pay the dues. Clean store, helpful staff, some organics, very nice fresh fruit/vegetable section, great freezer and canned goods section.As well as large size selections for big events. This place really has it all except for a fresh meat counter, and we're all trying to go more vegetarian anyway, aren't we? I prefer this store to the other chain grocery stores and only use the Trader Joe's (right across the street!) when I might need something different.Smart & Final, you really have come a long way, baby.

Covid-19 has affected quality of customer service unfortunately I went in to buy produce and unfortunately unlike the hundreds of times I have gone in my my watermelon was horrible and tasteless. I called manager approve return or exchange walked in and other manager said I was not here not going to honor it.fortunately my cashier went ahead and asked the store manager if she had and she agreed to have it. I hope they revise their policy specially on defective produce.it's the very reason why I trust my business with Smart & final if I have to look elsewhere I will after years of good service. My father before me was a customer back when I was a child in the beginning stages of Smart Final

Went today with my mother and had a horrible experience with an employee named William first asked him were the fruits were and he responded with an attitude that their in the front corner of the store then my 70 yr old mother asked him if he was open to check ppl out seeing as his light was not on but was checking out a person he again responded with an attitude shaking his head and rolling his eyes and when he was checking us out my mother asked him for three grocery bags and he responded by saying why didn’t you say that earlier. My mother not knowing English that well responded by huh he then responded by saying nothing nvm. I don’t understand the attitude? Their job in retail is customer service along with other things there is no reason for a 17 yr old to be that rude when we’re asking basic questions. Smart and final plz pay attention to how your employees treat your customers other wise you’ll end up losing them!

I always enjoy shopping at smart & final pretty good place good prices good selection. I do wish they'd get a little bit more variety in their meat department. Kudos on The roaster chickens good price good size.

TEN STARS!! This is my "go to" grocery store. It's super clean with everything arranged perfectly. They are well stocked with just about everything you might want. The produce section is amazing-fresh and priced reasonably. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Smart and Final is my go to store for things that I want to buy a lot of, it is a lot more convenient than the "big box" stores and easier to get into and out of with your purchases. The staff is generally helpful and pleasant, at least most of the time, so it is a good place to go to get those things that you are going to want to have a good stock of.

I've had good and bad experiences at this store. So it's a toss-up. Always nice selection of produce their flowers are nice to with a reasonable prices. Their meat however that's where we've had issues. Packages of chicken and beef with expiration date or freeze by dates a few days out go to open the package up at home and there's a clear rotting odor. That was not smellable through the packaging. Go to return it pick out another piece of meat that looks and smells fine from the outside get it home and yet again there's a rotting order.

They have a wide selection of foods and snacks if you ever need anything here. This palce is opened pretty late so you can always show up and get whatever you need. Plus they do have a selection of alcohol here which is great since they close late and you cna always pick soemthing up if you need it. Like any other super market they have fruits and vegetables for extremely cheap and they give out coupons if you ever want to make your cost even cheaper. Would recommend this place

Rude or Unprofessional.Was told not to go through a closed checkout lane by a cashier.ok, so if that the case, are they going to go around telling people coming in if they don't have a shirt on, or shoes, its no service.Are they going around telling people to put hot food back in the heater if they don't want it.Are they going to complain if you put things not in the place that you got it from.Another thing, the other day I heard commotion at the cash register, a guy was claiming the cashier lay his hand on him. To me that is a lawsuit, if the guy ever want to press charges.

I used to shop there frequently, until we moved to Lake Los Angeles. One of the perks is that they carry Kirkland brand dog food so I can purchase it there without the hassle of going into Costco. The store is clean, and if and when there is a long line at the register, they immediately open another line (or two). Lots of bulk size items. No butcher counter, but they do carry pre-packaged meats. Good prices on produce

Clean well stocked store. I always find what I need whether it's water, cleaning supplies, or produce. Staff is always friendly and check out seems to be well organized during these social distancing times.

I just had a racist encounter at this specific smart n final in which me n my friend were not only generally followed around the store then once we left because we did not find our item of purchase was accused of stealing in which we offered them a search even though it would be invasion of privacy we did not have anything and this happened today's date and not pulling the race card the two accusing staff were of white color

Not crowded at all. Their produce is stocked and looks fresh. The meat looks fresh as well. They had a bunch if different potatoes and apples. Definitely shopping here again.

I love Smart & Final. Been shopping there for over 30 years! Best place to buy restaurant quality meats, large sized canned goods, bulk dry ingredients, restaurant equipment and good liquor prices. :)
