Pretty good shop! I like the employees attitude and honesty and overall good store!Edit: After a second visit to see more about the Tarantulas there was one enclosure with either just a molt or dead Tarantula, it seems like the enclosure was way too humid. There was also an enclosure that seemed to have two snakes in the same tank, one seemed to try to escape it.

I waited for my order for over 40 minutes to be brought out to my car. I understand being understaffed, but the employees were rude! I was having difficulty with the app to check in so I called and when I told the girl I was there for curbside pick-up, she made a grunting sound and hung up my call. I thought oh maybe the app went through so I waited and called again for her to hang up. I tried the app again and it finally went through. From that point on I waited another 30 minutes. I am not exaggerating, I have the call history to prove it. Also, I picked up my order last week and was just notified today it was picked up. I had stopped frequenting your store because of bad experiences and thought maybe things changed let’s see, but definitely not! You can’t compete with the service quality and amazing customer service as PetSmart. Extremely dissatisfied. The only reason I didn’t cancel my order was because I needed the items that day and couldn’t wait for it to arrive in a couple of days from Amazon nor pick up from PetSmart.

If I could rate 0 stars I definitely would. I come in to buy an Angel fish while holding an Angel fish I bought elsewhere and they’re denying me an Angel fish because they have safety concerns of their own yet don’t know me or anything about my aquarium set up. So much for “animal safety comes first to us” yet as I’m holding my fish in my hands in a bag with limited oxygen they’re steady arguing back and fourth just wasting more and more of my time let alone the oxygen that’s left in the bag of my fish from the other store! Never would I buy again from that store this was the first and definitely the last due to the experience I just had. I understand some concerns but when you know nothing there shouldn’t be judgement especially while im holding my live fish in my hand, couldn’t even offer extra oxygen for the little guy due to them wasting my time! Petco needs to do better on these employees they hire! Such a shame! These employees swear they own the store. Oh and here’s a picture to show I know what I’m doing, you guys thought they’d “fight” please. You may manage fish there but I own fish we aren’t the same. They’re Doing just right!

As always, the employees are friendly. I wish there were more of them because you can see how thin they are spread. I always make sure to never be in a hurry so I don't give them more stress. My only issue is that the item I got to replace one that was shipped to me broken, broke before I got home with it.

Idk who is in charge of stocking this store, but they aren't doing a good job. The cat section has looked like this for months. The Tiki wet food may look well stocked, but it's just 5 or 6 different kinds that don't sell... 😒

Dealt with a young lady named Hella.She was so sweet and helpful.She appears to be a trainer there but was very helpful with other store stuff when asked questions outside of her dog training expertise and job duties..Such a joyfully Sole to deal with..Thank You HellaAnd Thank you Petco. I will definitely make it a point to drive across town to do business here now. 💝

We took Harley to Petco this time. The people at the store were so much more warm and friendly to Harley. They also did a much better job of cutting her hair and they were $10 less than PetSmart. They even did an express service on her ( no cage and she was held the whole time). They even sent her home with a bag of treats.We are PetCo People now.

The employees are always nice, it's pretty good for dog and cat stuff.Do not come here for fish or reptile anything. 100% of the "live" feeder crickets were dead in my last visit. Most of the feeders are when I come. Fish tanks were a mess.

This is my go-to pet supply store because number one the staff is always friendly and willing to answer your pet supply needs. Not only are they friendly but they are knowledgeable and can troubleshoot a variety of pet related obstacles. Secondly, the store is always stocked and clean. Which is something I can't say about their competitors across the street. Thank you Palmdale Petco for always putting your customers first.

Small store, but very knowledgeable staff. Our dog trainer, Hella is excellent and works with our pups issues on top of the normal curriculum. Angela is aquatics really knows her stuff, and is always willing to answer questions.

If I could leave a zero star rating I would.. don't shop at this store on 10th West the animals are sickly looking and several dead fish. I mentioned it to the manager named Tara and she told me that she was expecting a new shipment and that they will have better quality fish. Which is besides the point theses are dead animals that you have on display for me a paying customer look at.. That's horrible I will not shop at petco ever again and will pass on my experience with all my family and friends.

Today I took my dog for grooming at this location. The groomer (Bo) was very pleasant and did a great job with my dog. The store itself, however, just a plain mess!! Dog food was on the floor. If they were stocking the shelves...they choose a extremely unsafe and haphazard way to do it. There were piles of merchandise all in the isles. I never found the dog food I was looking for. And there was only one cashier. Hire some help!!!

The two conures at this location have lived here for months and live in such a tiny enclosure and living conditions are so dirty with barley any time or no time outside! I spoke to corporate about lowering the price or adopting out these birds due to the insane price gouge. Corporate advised me it is up to the manager. I spoke to the manager and they rather keep the birds in these poor living conditions than discounting price or adopting out. Shows that that “really care about their animals and pets”

Once a month Kaylynne grooms my Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback. She and Buck have such a bond that he literally runs yo the door to see his girl. I say that because he's a jealous boy when she must attend to another dog. She has such a special way with Buck that will keep me coming back gor years to come. Her co-workers are all exceptional. Each one going above and beyond to ensure Buck's spa day is memorable. The store employee s are very kind and helpful as well. Thank you to everyone who makes Buck feel so welcome.

I went in for my first & last petco order pick up. I was never greeted or asked if i needed help as i walked around aimlessly. My daughters and I stumbled across the fish department to find a lot of dead fishes. But what was most heartbreaking was the dead betta fish kept in small cups. More than a handful of dead betta fish displayed floating in their empty tiny cups
