Wonderful place to take my baby girl for her first grooming, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They took good care of her and explained the right treatment for her hair type which I loved. Been taking my standard poodle Jolyne here for a over a year and we've always had good experiences! She always looks gorgeous after her bath and cut, never needed any corrections to her cut, she's perfect when I come to pick her up. We've been to PetSmart and PetCo groomers previously and while the prices are similar the quality of service and care to the pets here is so much better! My dog is timid around others so it was important to find someone who could be patient with her that she could see regularly to get comfortable with her groomer and we've found the perfect fit here!!

Wizard of Oz is the best show in town. I've been following Tammy, the owner for 7 years since I moved to the valley and she has the best groomers with a student observations. One time my dog had a mass on his paw, the size of a pea and Emily recommended it gets seen by a vet right away. Turned out to be nothing but the vet gave her a "great job" for finding it. Every holiday they have a theme and dress the pets in costume and give out a nice holiday photo. They are the best. I can't say enough about wizard of paws

I have been bringing my pup to Wizard of Paws for the past year, and I'm always pleased with the service. Today Jeremy outdid himself. I have a 14 year old, very fragile pup, and she had soiled herself terribly. Jeremy was not just understanding, he was very gentle with her. He made her look like a little puppy again, and she was calm when I picked her up. I highly recommend Wizard of Paws, and Jeremy, the groomer in particular.

Highly recommend this place! I live around the corner of El Cielo, and it’s just super convenient for my fur baby. I used to go to Petco until they started rebooking my appointments without notice. We have been taking our senior poodle-bichon mix for grooming to Dalton at the Wizard of Paws for the last two years. While many other groomers would decline to work on senior dogs, Dalton was welcoming and absolutely great with him. We realized that our dog could be a challenge because he had become blind and unsure of his surroundings. Dalton was very patient and careful while working on him. He really cared about our pet and did a great job. Unfortunately, our little one passed last week at 17+ years old. Dalton was very sad and sympathetic to hear this news. He really cared about our guy, and we value the service and care has provided.

I cannot speak too highly of The wizard of paws and how they managed my two Cairn terrier dogs. I keep their fur long, so it's not unusual that they get matted. Some shops in the past have refused to work with them, they just don't have the skill, and they threaten to shave them.It was a totally opposite experience working with the good folks at wizard of paws. I called in advance to see if they're willing to take difficult dogs and they were more than willing to be helpful and accommodating.In the end, it was Emily who was willing to take on dogs who are matted as well as one of them who really doesn't like to be brushed and can be reactive even nipping at times. Much to my shock and surprise, she got them done in record time and, different than all other groomers, including my excellent groomer at home, she was able to get out all of the mats. Literally, no one has done as good a job let alone in a reasonable amount of time.I could not be more pleased and highly recommend Emily and The wizard of Paws more generally.

The lady at the front was amazing I didn’t catch her name, but I let her know we had a 1yr old pitty who hasn’t been to a groomer before. There was no problem at all she trimmed his nails with ease and gave him a bath and dryed with no issue. Place is a 10/10 do recommend!

This was our first time at the wizard. They did a fantastic job. Not only were the haircuts expertly done, they treated both of our dogs with care and understanding.We have had uneven experiences in the past with groomers, and so we are thrilled to find people with this level of expertise and obvious fondness for the animals in their care.
