We use to give this location a 2 star. But they have new staff and Tiffany is AMAZING!!! She has great customer service, she talks to her employeIes with respect as well as customers. She is very knowledgeable and willing to help you find the right product for our pets. This location has done a 360 we went from never coming here to this is being our place to buy everything!! Thank you Tiffany and the entire staff for doing an amazing job!!!

The groomer did a nice job, but when I looked at the receipt I saw they added an extra package. It was the Essentials Plus package which is upgraded shampoo, conditioner, teeth-brushing and paw balm, plus nail buffing. I only asked for the basic wash and cut, so this felt scammy. If I return there I will make sure to tell them no addons.

Spent over 30 minutes trying to order the product online so I can go pick it up. The website did not accept my password. Does not have a change password or forgot password option I could not even open a new account with a new email just kept going in circles. I had to call the store to make sure they had the meds I was looking for available and went there and picked it up the old-fashioned way expected more out of the technology of Petco.

Was able to get in and out under 15 mins. Vet was very helpful and quick when doing the vaccines for my dog.

We travel all over the US and this Petco made me sad. The rodents and Guinea pigs cages obviously don’t get cleaned when they should and they get next to nothing for shavings. Especially the hairless Guinea pigs who need that extra bedding.All of the rodents were pretty much living in their filth. It broke my heart. Do better.

Don’t book with Marisa for grooming. Marisa called and cancelled within 30 min of the original appt. I was kind and understanding and rescheduled for today. Wish I wouldn’t have!! Upon arrival, no apology, not kind or professional…acting like Levi is a troublesome dog to groom as she’s ‘never seen him before’ (he’s 9 pounds and 15 yrs old and I’ve never had someone act like he’d be difficult to groom - he falls asleep during groomings). It felt like she was looking for a reason to cancel this appt too?Only then, at the computer for check in, for the first time she asks if he’s on meds. Yes, for heart murmur. Oh…sorry. I can’t groom him if he has a heart murmur?! What? No apology for not asking sooner. No suggestion of who to go to. Just a blank, too bad attitude.I talked to the manager and now understand it’s Petco policy….that’s fine, but that needs to be uncovered at the time the grooming appt is made, NOT after a groomer calls you to cancel, a reschedule is made, and you come into the store. Waste of time, gas and energy. Marisa should be fired…she’s so unprofessional it’s shocking.*Levi was groomed elsewhere today and decided it was a blessing in disguise. His groomer said he was so good and she got an awesome tip*

Petco in Palm Springs has great selection for cats. Usual large Petco store. Love walking through this store with my pet, looking at all the fun and new toys. It’s the pet version of Home Depot !!

Great grooming staff! It took a long time for them to check our pup in as they were handling business on the phone, but still, the fact that they were so good to my pup when my pup was anxious about staying and the fact that my pup looked super clean afterwards, makes up for it for sure. I always go to Petco in any of the desert cities for grooming needs.

Palettes of product everywhere making it difficult to navigate with a cart. Some rows completely cut off from access. Not ONE person offered to help me. I was in the store for 20 minutes in 3 different departments (small animals, cats and fish). I am quite confident this review will go nowhere as usual.

I have to say they did not disappoint. They didn't have any trolleys but I was told by one of the employees that homeless people keep stealing them. But that's not Petco's fault. The store was absolutely immaculate the stfff were very friendly and helpful and the young lady at the register, her name was Shelly, was absolutely a pleasure to speak with. She was very knowledgeable about dog food and really explained all the perks that Petco has to offer. And told us about the reasons why rawhide is not good for dogs...... we never knew.... thanks to her, our dog will never again have rawhide. She gave us a raw-hide free alternative that my dog loves! We ended up opening an account with them having to use my sister's number because we have a UK number but anytime we come back we will definitely be going to this Petco. Shelly is a very hard little worker. I noticed whilst waiting in line that she was running 2 registers and I have to say that it made the experience all that much better because the line went down quickly, she was happy, had a smile, was very funny and was very engaging with all customers. Everyone in line was impressed with her and we were all talking about it. What a great experience at a store!!! I find it phenomenal that she can focus the way that she does running 2 registers, I have never seen anybody do that in my life. I think she is going to be up for great things at Petco. If I had to recommend one employee out of the store it would be Shelly! They made a very good decision in hiring her. She was very knowledgeable, very kind, and even cracked a British joke with me which I thought was absolutely hilarious. Good job Petco! A+++ rating from us!!!

I walk in looking for a back seat hammock for my large husky. Notice that the cheapest one had a sale advertisement underneath it. I take it to the counter the person in charge has manager some type on her badge and scans it at $59.99. I mentioned that there was a sale price below it and gave me an excuse. I left. Went to PetSmart and found the same exact item, same design, everything except brand label in same exact spot as well. funny. I also paid $19.99 with a $5 coupon I had avialable on my account. 🤣

I generally really like this place. Everyone used to be very helpful and friendly. Last couple of vists, things have been getting worse. My very last time I visited, I made eye contact with 4 or 5 employees. No one even bothered to say hello or even ask if I needed help when I clearly needed it. I had to cross the store to the employee obviously trying not to see me, to ask a question. I'll be ordering online from now on. Elsewhere. Take care of your employees, they'll take care of your customers.

By far my top choice for pet supplies shopping. The staff in the store are amazing, especially the manager, Carla. The employees are friendly and very helpful. I can't begin to state how essential good customer service is and at this location it is top notch. After recently getting a puppy I stopped in with plenty of questions and needs. They quickly helped me find what I needed and pointed out a few other things that would make life easier.
