It is not always easy to find spots that cares as much for your pet’s well being as you do. Cathy and her team are so kind to my senior dog who is a long time customer. As a younger pup he visited the shop on Sunny Dunes and now he is equally enamored of their store across Palm Canyon. My GSP, Hugo, used to pull me to this store in the mornings and would throw a temper tantrum if they weren’t open. He has entered his senior era (14) and he pulls us there daily for their treat “buffet” and for all the love he receives from the staff. He loves the attention he gets and at this point I am thrilled when he is aware of where he is and where the people show him affection and treat him like a king. I am so grateful that we have this spot as we navigate arguably the most challenging chapter of his life. Thank you for making my best buddy feel special every day. I will never forget your kindness ❤️

Omg, met the owner. Love her. I finally found a nutrition center for my ladies. She was so full of knowledge and ideas. I will be back to buy ladies food when they are out. Thank you for carrying the frozen RAW. So thankful I can get my ladies their food.

Love this locally owned pet food shop. The service is always incredible... can we just live in a world where everyone is as nice and helpful as the staff at Bones-N-Scones? They have a great selection of only the BEST pet food, chews and toys. They also seem to do continual research on what is best for pets; they discontinued carrying one dog food I'd been using because the quality had gone down, but added a new one that they had vetted. I'll always trust Bones-N-Scones my pets' health. Thank you!

There is no business more caring, ethical or committed to customer service in the desert. They helped me transition my dogs through illness, provided insight into healthy food and treats for the loves of my life. They are, as I am, better off because of Bones and Scones.

We went to buy some treats for our dog and ended up being berated by someone who worked there. Our breeder had given us some information about our particular breed of dog that the vet had shared with him and this employee didn't agree and berated us because our views were not "peer reviewed science". He would not stop berating us, even when we asked him to. I can't believe that an employee of a business would treat customers in this way. Dogs are a lot like our children-unsolicited parental advice is usually unwelcome. Too bad, we left without buying anything except one cake. We won't be back. The people at Petco have much better manners.

We use to shop there for both of our dogs food. One of our dog developed diarrhea over from the food. The other dog we purchased the soft slightly cooked food for. She developed severe pancreatic and had to see the vet twice and be on medications for weeks. Our vet told us that the so called holistic, grain free, freshly cooked food can be very bad for your pet. Please check with your vet before you purchase any food that is slightly cooked. Most of the employees at the store are not trained at all.

I love Amy! She helped me get the perfect bday cake for my fur baby turning 1-year old. The entire team is really good, I have shop at the Palm Desert store before. What makes Amy extra amazing is that not only she helped me find the perfect cake but she waited for me and didn't rush me. I showed up 4-minutes before closing time. Thank you Amy and the Bones-N-Scobes team!

My family is welcoming our new puppy tomorrow and I walked in for the first time to the Palm Springs location. Nicole and Angela greeted me with warm and genuine smiles. Nicole assisted me in walking me through the store and explaining their products. She is very knowledgeable and shared so much information. Right away I knew I was talking to someone who has taken the time to learn her stuff! She explained the chews, how to rewards your dog with more enticing treats as they learn more tricks. She was outstanding, even wrote down a book title to aid in training for me. Angela shared their rewards program and was so sweet. I will definitely be returning! These employees are keepers!Please make the rewards transfer from the Palm Springs and Palm Desert location!

these guys were very helpful on helping me pick out a new, healthy and family owned business for our dogs food. Fortunately, all 4 of my dogs loved the food. But if your dogs won't eat it, they'll take it back until they find something your dog likes. Now that's excellent customer service.

An independent dealer with some of the best natural dog foods available. They carry Fromm, which is only sold to independent mom & pop stores. Prices are good and the staff is very helpful!

TLDR: Best small scale, local, healthy Pet/Cat food and amazingly helpful and informative employees + Good loyalty programs. Much better than downtown PS pet (dog leash) store.After returning to the desert after a couple of years away, I find Bones & Scones has only improved, especially with the quality of employees, their knowledge and helpfulness. It's hard to find actual quality cat food (esp raw and full nutrition foods/treats).I first tried to find a good cat food option at the small local store on Palm Canyon strip, but they had one small cat corner, mostly dog toys/leashes and only one type of dry cat food... never going there again...Bones-N-Scones, on the other hand, has a very good selection of dry and raw (and raw dehydrated foods/Snacks) for cats.Also, easier more convenient parking!!Thanks for giving small, local, and conscious pet food choices a good name in the Desert!!!

I'm a first time dog owner who just rescued a dog a little over a week ago, so my knowledge of dog nutrition is close to nonexistent. Right when I walked into this location, my dog happily raced down each aisle sniffing everything, like a kid in the candy store. Dwayne gave my sweet Penny a sample of the liver cookies, which I ended up bagging a handful for her to have at home. Dwayne was really knowledgeable and honest, which I greatly appreciated since as a first time dog owner (and as someone who did not grow up with a dog) I'd probably believe everything the internet says for every doggo question I had and most likely bought things that turned out to be unnecessary. He was generous enough to comp the cookies I bagged and also gave me four different dry dog food samples for my dog to try and explained how beneficial it is to introduce my dog to various proteins. This was the first pet supply store I visited with my dog, and I don't think I need search any further. I will be back for more dog food and treats once my dog tries out all the dry dog food samples!It was a pleasure to be helped out by Dwayne.

So helpful and nice. Always give us free samples for our sweet Ginger to try. I find it so much easier to shop here with knowledgable staff vs. Petsmart or another big box pet stores. I wish you offered a rewards program or shipping for when return home after the season.

The best! My favorite place to get goodies for my pup. Bones-n-scones enlightened me about all the junk products that are out on the market and got my pup on a healthier diet!!! I go nowhere else for my puppy's needs. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and absolutely love what they do!!! I reccomend everybody to these guys.

We forgot to pack our fur-baby’s food for a weekend road trip (LA to Arizona) we usually buy “Pure” dog food but it’s only sold in the LA area. So I started googling & searching for something comparable along our route. As we were approaching Palm Springs, Google popped up with this place (among others) but this one sounded perfect, I had a feeling they would have something and they did not disappoint. Super clean store & smells yummy with all those fresh baked treats 🐶🐩

I went to look for some shampoo for my cat. I ended up buying a few things but I wanted to say I was very happy with the honesty of the staff. I left the shampoo at the place and it was almost twenty bucks. I went to the store the next day and they had it labeled for a customer which was me. I was thinking I would have to buy it again but it turned out in a positive way. I will visit the store again soon. Thank you

Bones n Scones should be your go-to pet food store. They sell the finest and purest bagged and canned dog and cat foods. The variety and selections are endless. They even have a kitchen for baking their famous "All Natural Pet Treats".....they contain no additives and preservatives so are baked daily......and with the holidays approaching your pet will enjoy the freshly baked Pumpkin Circles!

Nice little pet food store. Have all the good brands and the employees are helpful with product recommendations. They carry my cat's favorite food, so this is my go to place. They also have various frozen raw foods for pets.
