A passionate groomer and genuine animal lover. My senior dog had a wonderful experience on her first visit, nail trim, with Courtney. Courtney was so patient and careful every step of the way. I have never seen my dog so calm and chilled during any Nail trim! I absolutely love supporting small business whenever I can. It's such a treat to find the Grooming Shop, so closed to town, very reasonably priced, and friendly. Look forward to our next visit. Thanks again Courtney and Ray. You are TRULY amazing. 😍

Our mini-Schnauzer, Daisey, will be 18 soon. We had contacted several groomers who wouldn't take Daisey before we found Paul and Courtney at The Grooming Shop. They're love for all dogs is genuine. Daisey was welcomed by their dogs and, we're very certain, she had a great time getting to know her new friends. We are very grateful to Paul and Courtney, and their furry friends, for welcoming us and taking such good care of our Daisey. So highly recommended!

Our little Maltese mix, Baby Grace Marie, got such a GREAT GROOM (even a bow!) at The Grooming Shop of Rancho Mirage! She's a little older and they gave her so much love, attention and patience! And, it's CAGE FREE, so she met a couple of smaller dogs to run around with after her groom. The people here are TRULY in-tune with dogs and love them!! ❤️. Wow, this place is the best!! Courtney is not only an exceptional groomer, but really cares about the fur babies. She treated Bailey, my Irish Wheaten Terrier mix, like a little prince!! Bailey was a Rescue Dog for us and with other groomers had problems with being groomed, etc. Courtney andPaul were so kind and gentle, Bailey liked them immediately! The dogs that were wandering loose, were so content and happy. Bailey does not go into a kennel, so I have been searching for a groomer that would not have cages/kennels and just the right atmosphere. I FOUND IT!! Not only did Bailey have THE BEST grooming ever, but he actually made himself at home and even made some fur friends! I could not be happier!!! If you want a great groomer who treats your fur baby gentle and precious, you can’t do better. I am a senior who will drive all the way from Indio (Sun City) for Courtney and Paul!! I won’t take Bailey anywhere else!!Also, when I called I got an appointment right away. Paul was polite and nice and able to answer all my questions to put me at ease. I was apprehensive about trying them, but so right to trust them!! This is the best place in the valley!!!!

My dog loves coming to the grooming shop of Rancho Mirage ! He’s scared of everything but when he first meet Courtney and Paul, he surprised and went right up to them without having his tail tucked in between his legs. I felt comfortable right away .Courtney and Paul are the best . Prices are reasonable and your dogs haircut will last for weeks .

They give our dogs the best, softest, odor-free grooming they have ever had. The staff cares for my dogs and they never come home stressed like I have had from other groomers. One thing though, they are a small shop and may not pick up the phone if they are busy, and may not return your call the same day. So if you get the machine during business hours, it's best to try again until they pick up. They are very busy and booked at least a week out.

This was our second trip to The Grooming Shop and those folks treat you like family. Family owned was our biggest attraction in finding a fantastic grooming facility, with groomers that actually care. Our two little girls Snowy and Midnight looked just wonderful, the groomers listened to our desires and addressed our concerns. We were so pleased that our girls were happy and had been treated with care, kindness and you can tell the groomers love their jobs, especially Courtney, wow what a great person and a delight to work with. Thanks to The Grooming Shop, think we found a home!

I will never go back here or recommend them. My groomer was Samantha and she was extraordinarily rude and unprofessional. I used her for about a year. Every time I went in I felt like she was scolding me like I am a child. She complained about the condition of my dogs, clearly appeared annoyed, complained and bad mouthed other groomers and literally said to me, "You don't know what you are doing" when I told her I had been brushing my dog. When I told her I did not appreciate her scolding me, she accused me of yelling at her and refused to groom my dogs, even though I had made the appointment 2 weeks in advance. She called my dog a "ragamuffin" and complained nonstop about her condition. She immediately looked up to see when my dogs had last been groomed by her and again complained that I don't bring them often enough. She held up another dog and told me that dog comes in every 2 weeks. I do not appreciate the implications that I don't take care of my dogs, nor do I appreciate her manipulations to get me to come more often. She has no customer service skills and clearly does not have any investment in my dogs' well being.

I just arrived home from picking up my Kerry Blue Terrier, and knew this could not wait. Hands down, this has been the BEST experience in 7 years. Nick and family were kind, polite, and experienced! The cut is the very best my dog has ever received. It's a wonderful experience when your dog is in good spirits, the groomers are engaging and conversational, and the service provided is exceptional (did I mention and on-time)!Exactly the magic the desert offers!Tyler & Tula

We have a Great Pyrenees who needed grooming from day one and was a matted mess. She also needed her dew claws trimmed for over a year. The people and shop couldn't have been nicer. We hardly recognized Shila because she looked sooooo good when they were done. They did a phenomenal job; were friendly and nice, trusted me to pay them the next day (cash or check only); and at a price that was also phenomenal (inexpensive). They were the best!! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

They were able to get me in on short notice and took excellent care of my dog. The environment they had him in was excellent as my dog got to play with other dogs as opposed to be locked in a cage. I will be going back and I recommend others give them a try.
