I am in from out of town, and fortunately they carried our brand. I only visited once, so I won't be effusive, but the selection was great, and the service was also delightful. Recommended!

We use to shop there for both of our dogs food. One of our dog developed diarrhea over from the food. The other dog we purchased the soft slightly cooked food for. She developed severe pancreatic and had to see the vet twice and be on medications for weeks. Our vet told us that the so called holistic, grain free, freshly cooked food can be very bad for your pet. Please check with your vet before you purchase any food that is slightly cooked. Most of the employees at the store are not trained at all.

We visited yesterday for the first time to but a ball chucked. Amazing store had everything and better selection than both Petco’s that were out of them.This is our new goto spot. The gentleman who helped us was friendly and thanked us for our support. Cute little shop for your pet's needs. Was looking for a specific type of food that I wasn't able to find anywhere else and even though they didn't have it on-hand, they assisted me in finding a suitable substitute and set to order the exact food I needed. Very kind and helpful all around. Would definitely buy from them again.

Lovely little pet store with friendly people. Locally owned and the staff were very helpful in finding the right products for my dogs. Pets are allowed inside which is nice and they did provide my pups with treats as we browsed the store. Cool place!

Just came home with a new harness for our older pup, who was chewing at his previous harness. The great news is that it fits perfectly. The staff at Bones -n-Scones has been very helpful with his diet issues, customer service (taking food to the car) and that is why they are our neighborhood pet food store. We highly recommend Bones -n-Scones.

The best selection of the best healthy foods for pets. The staff"s knowledge of their products goesvbeyond anything I've ever experienced in any kind of store... ever. I can't remember a time I left this shop having not learned something useful without being pressured into buying something. They offer samples of so many products (including their own line of baked treats) that I usually leave feeling guilty for getting so many free things. Bring ur pup on a leash to the store by too... They love the attention and they always get to taste test something delicious.Would give them ++ stars++ if possible.. for both products and services! Highly recommended!

I just wanted to send an email to congratulate you on one of your employees – Jennette — who was so helpful to me when I came into the store for the very first time yesterday, desperate to find a low-fat dog food with natural wholesome ingredients for my cocker spaniel who is ill with pancreatitis.Not only did Jennette return my phone call from a voice mail immediately the following day, but she was very very patient to take the time to explain to me the best dog food that could work for my dog's problem. Jennette gave me samples yesterday to go home and try, and this worked! My dog could not get enough of this My Perfect Pet dog food.Dr. Steve Carter, our Vet, was so happy that I found a dog food that my dog loves. Bones-N-Scones of Palm Desert has what appears to be another location in Palm Springs (very convenient and easy to get to for those of us who live in Palm Springs.) The shared name and logo is where ALL similarities end. LONG AGO, they were under the same ownership. Now, to cut to the chase, it's well worth it to drive to Palm Desert to get my dog food, because they carry ONLY the highest quality food available for man's best friend (AND for felines, too!) -- almost everything they sell is organic, DEVOID OF "by-products" or "______meal," or anything that your pooch or kitty may WANT, but their bodies DON'T.Their selection includes both dry and wet brands, including raw food (dogs ARE descended from wolves) that is frozen and VERY SAFE to eat, treats, bones, and supplements.They have a small selection of leashes, collars, etc, but if you're looking for those types of things, there are places with much larger selections and other accessories.If your dog or cat isn't "just an aminal," but part of the family, and you want the best quality nutrition to prolong his or her life, this is the place to go.More importantly, if you want or need help, the folks that work there aren't cashiers standing around to ring up your purchase. They both KNOW their products, and they are PASSIONATE about what they do.These people CARE -- about you and about your pets. If they don't have something you need (highly unlikely), or you have a question that cannot be answered on the spot about anything related to nutrition and YOUR pet, they'll take the time to find out and quickly get back to you.I have dealt almost exclusively with EMERSON, who goes out of his way to be helpful. He doesn't work to increase the sale; he's concerned with what my dog NEEDS. She has health problems, and more than once he has steered me away from more expensive choices, or things that would harm her. He knows his stuff, he does whatever necessary to really help ALL customers, and he's sincere about all of it.Here, if you prefer to look around and do your own thing, no one will hover over you. If you want assistance to any degree, however, you'll get it.Unlike another pet food speciality store in Palm Springs (with the same name), you won't be treated like you're doing them a favor when making a purchase.You won't find the pet junk food sold in supermarkets here, and Bones-N-Scones ISN'T a pet supply supermarket, either.PetSmart and Petco sell food for all types of pets, every accessory imaginable, they have puppies and kittens for sale at certain times of the year, and PetSmart also does grooming plus in & out veterinary departments.If you want the very best quality food available for your dog or cat in the Coachella Valley, accompanied by caring, knowledgeable Customer Service, this is THE PLACE to go.
