The most peaceful beautiful place ever. I stayed two nights and unbelievable. The views the peace and quiet the animals. The place to go to be in another world.The farm staff so awesome Mary and all her staff treat one like family. Honestly no words can describe the perfection of this ranch. I got married here recently and it was beautiful! It is very convenient having rooms on site to accomodate so many guests. You have to cater through the venue but their food is amazing. They use their own grass fed meats and were great about what food and drinks we wanted.While the venue does come with a few things like tables and chairs, you do have to pay to rent other items from them and a lot of the decoration will be DIY, but this can be a good thing if you want to personalize a lot of things!Owners are not too strict about things and are flexible. This can go both ways though - sometimes the planning was a bit difficult due to lack of communication with the venue. It would take a while to get answers, or they would forget some things I told them. Definitely recommend getting a day of planner to help since this is a large venue with lots of DIY and family around usually.Other than that though, everything turned out beautiful and guests were very happy with the views and rooms. They are reasonably priced and we were able to stay up late too! Perfect day :)

We had a gorgeous wedding at Paicines Ranch! It was nice getting ready with all my girls in the lovely Rose Cottage. My closest family and friends enjoyed having a place to stay on site. There were many perfect spots for pictures. The lawn was the perfect spot for the ceremony and the barn was perfect for the reception. I loved everything about this place and would highly recommend for any event!

Beautiful landscape. The spring farm tour was cool - we got to see many parts of the farm. The dinner was delicious made with all local ingredients. Getting to pet the sheep was fun too!

The Spartan race here was super amazing! The terrain is pretty barren but the weather was great! There were some steep sections but not a ton of elevation gain. Overall this was a sweet spot for the Spartan race.

I have been using Paicines Ranch's meat for about a year. Their meat is so delicious! I am grateful that such a high quality regenerative meat ranch is relatively close by! They have a wide selection of meat. Their employees are very friendly! Great customer service! Their ranch is beautiful too! I recently watch a documentary called "The Biggest Little Farm." The film is about a regenerative ranch in Southern California. One of the most inspiring documentaries that I have ever seen! Well, before this film, I had never heard of the term "Regenerative Farm." I highly recommend watching this documentary. When you do, you will appreciate what a gem of a ranch we have in Paicines Ranch! If you appreciate Pasture Raised meat, you must try meat from Paicines Ranch!!

Stayed the night as a Harvest host guest. Even though I arrived later than anticipated, the host clearly communicated where to park for the night. A map and some products I purchased were available as soon as I pulled in. Large parking area for the night.

Beautiful space! The little cottages were comfortable, the kitchen in the main house is not fully stocked and made it difficult to use. There where no cutting boards, knifes and other staples that made it tricky.

Came out here for a Spartan race. It was one of the most dangerous tracks I have seen or experienced. there was gopher holes or fence post holes everywhere, all within the laid-out track. one person in our party broke his ankle because of a hole within the tracked area. met another one at the hospital. the medical staff did not check their bag beforehand and told us "I do not know if i have that; I haven't gone through this bag yet." (this was at 12:30pm). The was a giant rattlesnake on the course. The sandbag carry was designed as a 1 lane only, so when someone fell, they would get trampled. But there was more than enough space to make it at least 2 lanes with just a small about of effort.

My family and I stayed on the ranch as part of harvest host. This ranch is beautiful and I love that they have grass fed/ grass finished meat raised right on this farm. So far we've made the ground sausage and the chuck roast. Both were absolutely delicious. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We had a family wedding here. The venue was great, staff was great to work with and the cottages make it a great venue. We had a few problems with contracts and clarity but the staff handed them before day of.

Would most certainly stay here again! We had a lovely time staying at the Garden Cottage, celebrating our wedding anniversary. The place is secluded, quiet, private and beautiful. We had horses in the pasture just outside our cottage and saw deers on the property too!

Gorgeous outdoor venue for weddings, public functions, wine pairing, and BBQ get togethers. Nice outdoor facilities for dining, dancing with a pleasant grassy area - all based at the foothills in quaint San Benito County. Gorgeous views in a historical setting. Highly recommended!

We stayed here recently through Harvest Hosts. Great people in a beautiful place. Very relaxing. We picked up some of the best bacon I’ve ever eaten, eggs, steak and some sausage. I hope to be back in the area soon!

Thanks for the Memories! My daughter got married at this wonderful place two years ago. It was worth the flight from South Carolina. I highly recommend getting married there. By the way, it is air-conditioned. We laugh When we look back and assumed we had to open the windows.

Beautiful wedding venue. Staff was friendly and kept premises clean throughout the wedding. Lighting was perfect with decorative sconces on the wall. I will be recommending my clients to have their events at Paicines Ranch.

We were guests at a wedding over a month ago. When I got home and realized I lost my gold earring, I immediately tried to contact them in hopes it was found during the clean up. Their phones don’t ring, they don’t respond to emails, even the bride tried to reach someone with no response. What kind of venue advertises as a wedding venue and doesn’t answer the phone. I’m hoping this review will get their attention to respond to my request for help. My next attempt to get ahold of someone is through snail mail 😏

I exist because of this place.Seriously.My mom's family tried to buy the ranch in the 1880s. Eventually, her mother and father lived there in the 1940s. They sold their possessions and moved away in the mid-40s, and my dad's family moved in. My dad was probably "made" there, though he was born a few months after his family left there.My parents would later meet many years later through motorcycle racing and had no idea their parents had met a few times many years earlier (my mom lived in San Jose and my dad in San Juan at the time).Both sides of my family have been ranchers on that property going back over 100 years.I haven't found the money yet, but I will. I will own this place someday and keep it the beautiful working ranch it's always meant to be.
