From a visit today, their hours are 8am-6pm on Mondays-Saturdays, and 10am-4:30pm on Sundays.Walked in about 4:40pm on Sunday without knowing that, and the two guys there still let me buy a burrito. Was pretty good too, with their tangy green salsa.

The food prices are reasonable and they have a pretty unique gift shop that I think is worth checking out. In particular a hat selection with totally one of a kind hats I have never seen before. Antiques and collectibles abound. The front part of the day they have a cook ready to make a variety of things like burritos and hamburgers and such. Good service as well.

Smallish store. Were flexible to make a salad for me that was not in the menu as well as customize my burrito which was very good

Where's the meat?? Got back to my house and neither my torta or burrito had hardly any meat or anything thing else in it. Torta was super sad looking when I opened it. 1 piece of lettuce, a heap of mayo and a sprinkle of meat. Nothing like what she said it would be. Crazy prices as well

My goodness we love this store. Maria and everyone are so nice. We stay at a nearby RV campground going towards Pinnacles National Park and stop here near daily. If you are near Hollister, CA or are going to Pinnacles NP, go and grab some amazing food from their restaurant and grab a cold glass bottle of pop.Everything you need when you're camping nearby.

Great little store. They have a sign that says "Welcome to downtown Paicines, " because it is the only store in Paicines! But they have a nice variety of items, and the burritos taste amazing! The owner even makes her own homemade salsa! If you are ever in the area go here and try them!

Stopped at the Paicines Market for lunch. WOW, the only word for the food is AMAZING. The best chile verde I've ever had. My wife and I had the chile verde plates, our son the carne asada burrito and his girlfriend the chile verde burrito. All were very, very, good. Stop here if you are going through the area.

It was like stepping back in time when I entered the store. They have a little bit of everything including freshly made food. If you're in the area, stop by and grab a cold drink, a bit to eat or anything else you might need.

Only store around, and good to support local businesses. But don't plan for this to be your only supply resource when traveling to Pinnacles, or you'll be left hanging.

Stopped here to grab some breakfast and snacks on our way to Pinnacles NP. The grill was not yet open (doesn't open til 9:00) and the only food they had that was remotely breakfast-like were some packaged danish. Overall a pretty disappointing selection considering the size of the place.

Offers a little of everything, including a small antique store. They serve homemade food, and have a delicious homemade chimichanga, and jars of salsa! Nice people running the place, but they close fairly early so don't wait to stop if it's open.

Called to see if they sold batteries but the lady on the phone said they only sell food now. Stop in Hollister for necessities before stopping at the rv park. This place doesn't sell it

Awesome burritos, and great customer service by Cesar. His mom makes the homemade salsa! You must try some next time you visit!

The building is old and from the outside or inside leaves one intimidated. There's a hand-painted sign outside that says "cook on duty". Walking up to the chintzy, cheap overhead menu leaves you wondering what the food will be like. The cook speaks no English but the somewhat bossy register clerk does and takes your order then yells back to the cook what you ordered. If you're lucky, the cook hears it. The yeller seems too lazy to walk 30' to tell the cook anything. All this said, you'd expect who knows what. However, you'll be pleasnty surprised. The cook is homeaking the Mexican food from scratch. The enchiladas and burritos are very good, if not a bit overpriced for the ambiance. The accompanying rice and beans fill out the plates and are very good as well. I have eaten here perhaps 4 times in the last few years and the quality has always been good. I can't speak for the hamburgers.

Great service at a historic country store and dance hall. We travel out of our way just to buy Carmen's famous salsa, with fire roasted peppers. Medium is plenty spicy for us.

Cool little place. Had a Chili Verde Borrito. It was excellent! Basically a mini mart with some grill food and a few booths to sit at, inside and out. I will stop here again if I'm in the area.

It's like an Oasis in the middle of nowhere. The only complaint I have is that the burritos were pre made. They tasted okay and fresh but I prefer made to order.

Paicines store is ALWAYS friendly. Love its old Town charm. It's a great convenience for us that live out this way. Saves you from having to make a trip all the way into Hollister.

Fun general store and truly the last shop before you reach Pinnacles National Park.

Looked good. Came here on a trip to go to the bathroom and get food in that order. Like 99% of the places in CA, I was not allowed to use the bathroom. Left and took my business elsewhere.

That's the only store in Paicines so is good to buy stuff at the last minute right but expensive but it works because you don't want to go back all the way to Hollister CA.

Always fun to stop and see the antiques. We also pick up snacks for our explorations around the area.

The only grocery store close by! Take a breakfast burrito in the morning. You can request whatever you’d like in your burrito
