Nice place to shop. Safeway Ross restaurants and more. Close to the beach where you c an walk stroll. Parking is available.also at the beach with reasonable fee if you stay more than 30min. U can watch surfurs or just spend time to relax at the beach.

I have only been in one time to use the restrooms and in that one visit that was only 25 feet from door to restrooms I was followed like was gonna steal something. So now my wife goes in and never comes out happy. The self checkouts are never open and then you get attitudes from the cashier lile they hate their job soooo much and we are an inconvenience to them some how. Soon as we are back on our feet we will shop somewhere more people friendly. It is just a beard people that I am choosing to grow....

A very good selection of small shops and restaurants. Popular with the locals. The parking lot can get crowded. Don't miss Tuesday family night at round table pizza. Pizza and salad buffet plus face painting and balloon animals for kids

9/10 Staff are so rude. I don't not understand why but it's an everyday problem. I wish there was another bigger chain store but might just start taking my everday buisness to Sun Valley. It is not okay to spend money somewhere several times a week and be treated like you are a problem for being a customer.

I have been to hundreds of McDonald's and this one may have had the cleanest bathrooms and store. Staff nice and food...well...it's McDonald's. Cool is of new recycling silverware made of wood.

Yvonne in the bakery/deli was very rude. She came over and said “Hi, what do you want” no proper greeting. Before proceeding with telling her what I needed, I asked how she was doing today. She said “good, WHAT DO YOU WANT?” very unpleasant trip/first impression with this Safeway, definitely won’t be returning.

On at least three occasions I've gone in to buy a few items only to leave them there because there's a single line of 15-20 people waiting for one or two cashier lines. Either get more cashiers or put in a self-checkout. I'm not waiting 15 minutes to buy a soda.

This a beautiful store. But to be completely straight forward, the factor that makes or breaks a store is the restrooms. I didn't have the need so, I can't give it a complete evaluation. The other factor that makes that location so nice is comparing to the Half Moon Bay store. That store is in need of being demolished and building a store that the coastal community deserves. The people who work there are great. The fact that the gross restrooms are right next to the fresh fish/meat counter. You couldn't pay me eat something from that counter

Unfortunately, this place has really gone down hill. I've had some good memories here over the last decade shopping with my family for a picnic at the beach or Sunday dinner. But I went in the other day with my two young daughters, ages six and eight, and the checkout clerk was so aggressively rude to us on sight. It was hard to manage his overt anger without upsetting my kids. I'm getting more and more interactions like this to the point that I just want to do all my shopping online at whole foods.

Safeway is Safeway. It's the only grocery store in the town of Pacifica. Unfortunately. We went at 4:30 p.m. and was there for about a half hour and they were literally closing up the deli and sandwich area. It was odd because that typically is a very busy time when people are getting off work to get dinner. We wanted to order a sandwich and they said it was closed. We got some deli food and it was very dry and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. Very disappointing.

This is a average strip mall. We stopped in to the bar "Cheers" and had a nice time. The staff was friendly and professional and the drinks were very good. They have sports on the TVs (Go Giants!) and an overall friendly atmosphere. It was late night so not much else was open. Pacifica is a fun town.

It's a Safeway! I often stop in here to pick up a snack or some drinks for the beach, while on my way down Highway 1. They have everything you expect from a modern supermarket. The store is generally well kept, but the bathrooms are a little gross. Just saying. They could use some work.

Safeway has gotten much better the pandemic made it really harsh and long lines but that's true with every business. Overall the Safeway is well stocked as well equipped with a bakery and deli a meat department. And it's located in a very nice shopping center. It's also handicap accessibility they have handicap parking right out in front they've recently redone their bathroom so they're very clean. And of course it's located in a very beautiful town Pacifica California

Ok I have been going here for yearrrrrrsss and why why why are the bathrooms HORRIBLE NASTY. mc Donald's bathrooms are 100% cleaner. I had to get a manager to go and clean the bathroom. There was water all over the floor 😣

Convenient place to get everything done and this is the closest to the beach. No security when it comes to people parking here -- beach goers tend to park and walk which then take up space in this small parking lot area. Difficult to get to if you're not from the area specially on special events or beach days due to congestion

One of my favorite Safeway’s. I used to live in Redwood City and go to the big one there all the time. But since COVID started it’s gone downhill and it’s like walking a cluttered maze. This Pacifica one is great, most of the employees are friendly. It’s well lit and they have all the stuff you need. Only negative...if you want something from the deli but someone is in front of you Forget about it. I just waited 20 mins to watch the older deli lady get a pound of turkey and cheese. I walked away and came back only to waste another 10 minutes while she got 2 things. I just gave up and left. I don’t understand how you could have someone so slow in that part of the store. Other than that this place is great.

I think that this grocery store is kept clean, well stocked, and the prices are good. I wish that they had a better discount section sometimes, but they have wonderful hot food for sale in the deli from 6am-7pm daily. They must have THE BEST breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich prices in town. I am grateful with the budget I have that I can eat hot and tasty food for such an awesome price. Thank you Linda Mar Safeway for your kind and hospitable ways. I have been frequenting this grocery store for a few months now and have gotten to know some of the employees. I appreciate Tiger because every time I go into the store he is sincerely greeting someone, or walking around placing a single flower at the registers. Nick is a big guy that is often stocking, bagging or getting carts. He was rather quite initially but has grown to be rather warm, kind & social. Rico is the deli guy that is humorous and kind and his mom Crystal is really nice. Robert is a bagger that I really enjoy saying hello to and making small talk, quite kind and social that guy. Oh I can't forget Jacqi, she is simply super kind and reminds me of a childhood friend named Danielle that that was one of the nicest females of my teenage years.Love, Kyle

It's a Safeway, but it's my Safeway and I love it. And as a native New Yorker used to terrible grocery stores, I appreciate this place way more than I can justify. It is a grocery store but a good one. I also love the freebies and epic deals frequently made available through their app.
