I just had the worst experience with a rude gentleman working in the pharmacy. This guy's name is Chris. I had to call him (from the doctor's office I worked for). I asked him some simple questions and he gave me nothing but uncalled for attitude the whole time. I understand the power has been out for 3 days. Sucks. Everyone is dealing with it. I hope to never have to speak to this guy ever again.And if the posts below are any indication, this guy is a jerk, rain or shine. Very disappointed with rite aid. please have a talk with your employee, Chris.

We just moved to this area recently, and the pharmacist (or assistant) who answered my phone call was quite rude and dismissive. He cut me off when I was explaining my purpose for the call and then answered my question like he thought I was the dumbest person to ever exist. I've never had an interaction like that with a pharmacist before - either in person or on the phone, so I thought it was worth putting it in a review. I will soon be swapping to a different pharmacy rather than sticking with this one (the Rite Aid at our original location was fine).

Very rude customer service. Old white men verbally harassing me in line because I was making a return. They really scared me. I got very concerned with my safety. BTW the transaction to make a return took less than 4 min. Rude old lady at the register got angry and upset at me for making a return when the whole transaction was less than 5 minutes. Are you really that impatient? There is video proof. 3:00 pm Dec 7, 2023. Lots of mean spirited old white people. Im a minority and they verbally harassed me at the register i almost had to run back to my car due to safety concern. Don't go to this rite aide.

The past few visits were not great, but they've been hit and miss for a few years now.. sometimes they're friendly and have everything I need... but this past time was by far the worst of them.. the store was unbelievably messy, had two very awkward staff interactions, and one was so awkward. I was not sure how to respond, so i had to just walk away slowly, and i just ended up just leaving... it didn't help that they didn't have any of the first 5 or 6 household/personal items on my list... just a bummer because they used to be my go-to! (I guess that was 10 or 15 years ago), but I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon... plus, CVS is right down the street and always clean and well stocked with decent staff. 🤷🏼♀️bummer, though, it is in the same parking lot as everything else I do on the regular.. 🤦🏼♀️

Pharmacy is horribly run. For the past 3-4 months, prescriptions have taken 5+ days to be refilled. I had a prescription sit for 5 days before anyone even got around to ordering it since they didn’t have enough, so it took 7 days to refill. In November, I was given someone else’s gabapentin prescription because the pharmacy tech was rushing to clock out for her break and didn’t scan the bottles, which would have caught her error. Absolutely ridiculous. If this was an independent pharmacy, it would be out of business. Either management is asleep at the wheel or they just don’t care about the quality of their customer service.

I usually get my medication from a Rite Aid in Southern CA, so when I needed some medication while traveling, I chose this Rite Aid. I was very upset to hear how the pharmacy clerks were interacting with the customers who came in for their medication. The two people in front of me were sent away without medication. When I stepped up after the last customer left, the pharmacy clerk was very abrupt in telling me that they would be with me soon. I was careful not to crowd them, but after hearing how they had dismissed the customers before me, I was put off by all of this. The clerk did not have visible nametag. Much like the people ahead of me, I was told to come back at 2:05 (it was 1:30 on a Wednesday) as there was no pharmacist present.I returned at 2:05 after waiting in the parking lot, and could not tell if the clerk was the same. Their hair was down over their name tag, and I have great difficulty with recognizing faces, but they were also incredibly rude to the two customers who were in line before me. In particular, I was very upset to hear how the clerk was treating the elderly customer directly before me. I have an 84 year old grandfather who has more difficulty following conversations due to his age, and the customer in front of me sounded like they may be having a similar time. However the clerk was exactly how I dread people might treat my grandfather when I'm not around. The clerk was dismissive, would interrupt the customer, and talked down to the customer. When the customer left I could see his face and knew I wanted to make a review in case someone at this Rite Aid could help protect their customers from their clerks.The people who come here need medical care and treatment, and are therefore in an even more vulnerable place than most customers. I was there to get medication for my PTSD in particular, but the way the clerk treated me and the others led to my having a panic attack in my car while I waited and another on the way back from the store. This is unacceptable service, and I warn any customers to find any alternative pharmacy until this is better.

Zero regard for the patient's time. They are easily confused and then take lunch instead of fulfilling pain meds for your broken arm while you are fresh out of the ER. My arm is literally only held together with tearing ligaments and they have the nerve to be rude.

The pharmacy is very understaffed. Plan to wait in line 10 - 20 min once your prescription is ready. I time it. Expect to have trouble reaching them. When I call, I am usually put on hold and spend approximately 15 min trying to reach someone. Sometimes it will take me several days to get through. I do find the pharmacy staff professional, kind and helpful. It appears that they could use a larger staff

It's a nice clean store and the employees are cordial. But scanner at register didn't register sales prices. Failed to pickup a "BOGO" on face wash, and 1/2 price on 2 cosmetic items. The clerk fixed the BOGO and one 50% adjustment, but not the second. Line of customers behind me started to grumble at wait. Got home and realized I paid $5.00 much for a brow cosmetic.

I called the PG Rite Aid for 3 hours. I was placed on hold for 15 mins, then phone got disconnected.l called for 3 hrs no one picked up, left msg and call back number, no return call. If they're so busy then they should hire more help to take calls. This isn't the first time this has happened. The employees back on pharmacy are rude and most time very unfriendly. In fact, I'm on hold for 13 mins as I'm typing this

I do not recommend the pharmacy. The staff is rude and hypocritical, weak communication skills. Reported to the DCA, their current pharmacy manager has been a pharmacist for less than a year. 90 days on the job and it shows in this location.

We use this Rite Aid for non prescription items, so can't attest to the pharmacy but the front end staff is outstanding and the store is well stocked. Even has a cute I've cream counter.Highly recommend.

Staff is terrible, I came here with my friends and from the entrance a female worker followed us everywhere. After two minutes we found the part of the shop that we needed, she said, “Guys, you can’t just hang around here, pick what you need and go home!” We didn’t even want to continue shopping and left the store.

Several times I have had problems trying to get my medication there and two of the pharmacists there are not very nice on top of it. Within the last couple of days I got a text message saying all of my prescriptions were ready but when I got there they didn't have one of them. They had some other pharmacist guy who I never saw before standing in and I just wasn't supposed to get my other prescription filled and they weren't even filling it for no reason. Then he started acting like there was something wrong with my insurance when I've had the same insurance for years and have gotten many prescriptions and refills completed there so the guy just didn't know that he was talking about and I just wasn't supposed to get my refills because some guy who doesn't know what he's doing.

This store is always clean and well stocked. nice selection of beauty products from low end to high. great prices on alcohol too.staff is sincere and friendly.

My grandson and I went in for ice cream cones at 9pm they close at 10pm we were told that the ice cream department was closed, REALLY !!! The lady then told us to wait about 5 minutes and she'd be over. The way she the kinda yelled " I want ice cream" talking to another customer was rude and uncalled for. We then left the store while walking out she says to us I'll be over there in a few minutes. No thanks we will go to 31 flavors thank you. I will never go back to that rite aid again and I've been going there for years.
