I really like this grocery store. Far superior to nearby Safeway. Aisles are orderly. Fruit is fresh. Employees VERY friendly and helpful. Customers friendly, too; one actually helped me to buy groceries! Just a friendly site.No homeless living in parking lot (unlike Safeway)!

They advertise products at a discount with a digital coupon and then it's impossible to find the product in the app. Even the person stocking the product couldn't find the coupon and bar code on the product said product not found. The store manager on duty spent several minutes explaining how to use the app which I already have and use but couldn't take time to just find it on my app. He did ultimately give me the price. That's why I rarely shop at Lucky's these days.

My GF & I not only shop at this store as customers, but come here as vendors.....to inventory and service the gift card displays. I think it was little over a year ago, this store went through a remodel/reset, so it looks fresh and clean. I can say the same of the staff, they are also super friendly and helpful to us as both shoppers and vendors.We both much prefer coming here rather than the other "safe" supermarket at the top of the hill. Up there, it can get very backed up. But even though this Luckys can get busy, they have enough employees to keep things running smoothly. **Strongly recommend**

Such a large store. Haven't been to a Lucky since I was a kid. Have everything you need in a supermarket including a bakery, service deli. Large selections to choose from in your every day needs. Good service.

This is a great store for pacific grove. It has chase bank, a consignment store, rite aid, Starbucks and a bagel shop in the shopping center. There are more stores than that, but it is an example that it is conveniently located. It isn’t the largest Lucky around but it has what you will prob need.

Nothing special. Odd refrigerated cases. Need basic store this is it. We were hoping for some prepared or easy to prepare meals, but found none. Went to Trader Joe’s and found what we were looking for.

Thought I'd give this store a try since I'd never been to one before. Right around the corner from my house. Missed advertised every price on my receipt. Almost everything on my receipt was double of what they actually advertised it at. What a scam. Won't ever be back to a store called Lucky again. Should be renamed "UnLucky."

This is a great Lucky Grocery and has phenomenal customer service. They will help you find whatever you need. The attendants there also call for assistance before the infamous 1 checkout aisle back up to prevent the lines and wait from becoming too long. The produce section always has a fresh supply of vegetables and fruit.

Lucky's is clean and well stocked. This location has great deli and bakery goods as well as a dining area to eat your goodies. They also have nice flowers to choose from and clean restrooms for their shoppers. The employees are helpful and pleasant. It's always a pleasant experience to shop at this store!

Always clean! Produce is always fresh, bananas tend to vary a bit. Nice liquor section. Dairy is always well stocked. Asking a clerk where something is results in pin point directions: "aisle X, left side, threw sections down, next to the top shelf"...or, if they are not otherwise busy they've taken me to the product I want. Good bakery, but they need to make a few more glazed raised donuts...seems the few times I get a craving they are sold out...😯

Great employees mostly, nice selection but the items on sale are most often sold out leaving you to have to remember to ask for a "rain check". Quite a bother - I feel they should stock price leaders as much as normally priced items. Everything seems to be a little higher than other Lucky stores and similar stores because it is near Pebble Beach. Very helpful meat department, and a good store manager. Corporate people should listen more to the employees and customers.The pricing is not straight forward often with small print difficult to read. Typical Corporate attitude there to get the most money out of you. Clean store with a great location. Could be a much better experience if Corporate would show more respect to their customers with simple pricing. I get a little tired in todays world with marketing people treating us like idiots.

Best balance of selection and prices in the Monterey area. Safeway is overpriced and wants a club card. Trader Joe's is awesome but has a limited selection. Lucky is the happy medium, great one-stop shop.

Staff here are so helpful and kind! Pricing is better than most (except Trader Joes), and they have far more selection of items than competing grocery stores. Membership benefits are where it really pays off - you can clip coupons and take deals all though the app.

I have found this location to be one of the better grocery outlets around the area. Not only do they always keep up with stock, there are self-check kiosks to help narrow down queue times. Always have had a quick experience there! It is very clean as well.Be prepared to be greeted by the associates!

I recently started shopping at this store after Nob Hill Foods recently closed. I found a wide range of product at reasonable prices. Aisles were clean and roomy, customer service was helpful and friendly, and parking was convenient. Based on my past four shopping experiences, I will continue doing my regular grocery shopping here.J. Reel

Some employees are kind, but there is a culture of shutting down aisles and entire sections, with no sign or apparent reason, and then yelling at customers if they need to get toilet paper on the shut down aisle (with no employee on the aisle). This is the only store handling restocking this way during COVID19 and it makes coming to this store completely unpleasant. "If we allow people to take stock now, we won't have any tomorrow" was a response given, then why don't you close early and restock with no customers in the store? At least tell us up front that we won't be able to buy necessities. This has happened twice in 3 weeks. I am sure it's happened much more than that, but I try to avoid this store now.

Coming from the east coast might influence my rating here. But this store felt very small and missing many things in my opinion. For being in California to only carry 2 kinds of sun screen, and only for children, seems rather odd. Theres another lucky across town that is much better for me and worth going out of my way for.

Yes, they have an above average selection, it's neat and orderly, but whenever I ask for assistance in the meat and seafood department I get the same employees who seem to be bothered by doing thier job. If you aren't happy working there than perhaps they should find a different line of work.I have started shopping more at other grocery stores. I only go there if I have to.

An average super market. My biggest complaint is that the store is a faraday cage. You get no reception what so ever and have to sign on to their wifi. I frequently have to shop for other people and need to call them and I have to go out of the store to make a call.

It doesnt get more convienent than this in Pacific Grove, I literally live across the street from this grocery store. Recent remodel is nice to look at but the design for shopping has become counter intuitive. I constantly get home and realize I've forgotten something important.Update: The Lucky staff has really stepped it up. The store's signs are very visible and make it much easier to navigate.

This store has most of what I need and is organized fairly logically. Their produce seems to be a bit better quality than other grocery stores however their selection of vegetarian or vegan options--like tofu, etc.--is very limited.

There is a decent sized parking lot that makes it easier to get in and out of this grocery store. It has the majority of what you could want for your home. Bakery-deli-produce/health section- general - home goods- pet- garden/flowers - customer service desk - 6-10 checkout lanes and something like 5 self- checkout machines. When I visit I don't usually find it busy, so no long line waits. Of course the line times and parking lot convenience change dramatically when there is a big to do like Thanksgiving or visitors events like pro- am or car week. I would recommend this store over others for its convenience of navigation and staffing for quick and easy visits. The prices can be cheaper for things elsewhere though.

Good natured, kind and really friendly staff. More than once my kids (then 5 and 2 year olds) were fighting and crying both at the same time. The really nice lady staff, maybe seeing how hard it is for me to do my groceries, made balloons for them (gave them to us for free). Lo and behold the kids turned from purple minions back into yellow minions again. They are so family friendly. They ask you if you need help with anything with a smile. Parking is good and it's located in a commercial compound. They sell fresh flowers and plants and cut flowers too. Always fresh fruits and vegetables. They also have fresh seafoods but I haven't tried some yet. They have ready made food and sandwiches that will be made for you on the spot. They have an assortment of baked goods and you can order cupcakes and cakes for special occasions. For the past 3 years or so we have ordered cakes and cupcakes here for birthdays and school activities and they have always wowed us. I have always loved this place and loving it more everyday.
