Love Grooms by the Bay! They treat my fur baby with the utmost care. Prior to taking my fur baby Sky here he would hate getting groomed, now he enjoys the whole process. The staff is always very friendly and ready to answer any questions or concerns I might have. I 100% would recommend them to other pet owners. Thank you for always treating Sky with the best care.

I can’t say enough about Charli and Grooms by the Bay. My poor pup has had some bad experiences with groomers in the past and has become extremely nervous and admittedly somewhat difficult to work with. Charli was so kind to her, and me, and really worked with us and Mitzi’s fear. She did an incredible job and I’m so thankful she wants to keep working with Mitzi to desensitize her over time with “happy visits” and giving her breaks during her grooming appointments. I really can’t recommend them enough, and the shop itself is so clean and cute. 💕🐾

I have been bringing my cocker spaniel Andros to Grooms by the Bay for nearly three years after shopping around extensively for a reasonably priced, caring groomer for my senior dog. Charli and her associates have been unfailingly kind and patient with Andros, and he has always looked his best after each bath and haircut. I couldn't be happier with the service they have consistently provided.

This business is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I am so happy we were referred to Grooms by the Bay. We were greeted when we walked in to a very cute waiting area and you could see all the grooming stations were immaculate. Charli came from behind the gate, took our chihuahua from me, held him and allowed our husky to get a little more comfortable in this environment as we discussed what services were needed. I love how she guided us and told us the pros and cons of certain services. We were told to come back in 3 hours. Perfect! I figured it would be longer as our long coat chihuahua had a disaster of a coat. We were gone an hour and she called, concerned. She was worried because our lil dog’s scab on his nose had gotten ripped off by the leash (he did it himself!!!). I told her she could continue as long as she felt comfortable. I knew right there and then that I could trust her 100% with my fur babies and they were in the most amazing hands possible. Definitely not your average big box groomer. We stopped back by just see how everything was going and Charli said that both dogs had calmed down and were enjoying their spa day, so we left. Great restaurants around and fun shopping to pass the time. Came back in and Charli told us our husky wasn’t a fan of the dryer. I had forgotten to mention she wouldn’t be as it’s loud and she’s overly sensitive to noises, so they used a different drying system. How in tune they were to our animals was amazing!When we saw out babies, we were speechless. They looked and smelled wonderful. Their coats were so very soft. Our chihuahua had the biggest transformation and I couldn’t be happier. Love the little bandana they put on our baby. So stinkin cute and stylish!!! We will definitely come back and the prices are reasonable too!!!BONUS....Love that Charli and her assistant treated our fur babies as if they were their own.Thank you for everything!!!Sarah & Chris

Lovely, clean, calm dog grooming spa. Our dog is nervous about being groomed but Charlie and Jesse calmed him down and gave him a first class hair cut and bath. Highly recommend!

Caring employees! Love the one on one time my pups Flower and Kota get. I've been to a couple shops and there's cages filled with dogs and this is not the case here. It's calm and I love the vibe.

My little Lily has never looked THIS beautiful, thanks to Charli and her expert grooming skills. l've never had Lily trimmed, and I didn't even know exactly how to describe what I was after, but this was exactly right. The shop is lovely and parking is convenient.

Canyon is a person who did a great job here. She has huge knowledge about every breed of dog which is important.she first understand the dog behaviour and then start grooming. She is so friendly with the pets and care them like no one. She guide the dog owner as well. For canyon 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

First time taking my dog (medium/large breed pitty mix) to Grooms by The Bay and Charli and her associates were great with her. I’m mobility challenged and washing my dog has become increasingly more difficult. Grooms did a great job and my dog seemed so happy to to feel refreshed/clean smelling. Thank you Charli!!!

After many bad experiences with major chains, I decided to try Grooms by the Bay! Everything went perfect from the phone call to the outcome. I called and within two rings, I was greeted by Charli! She was very generous and scheduled Lucky (my poodle) for an appointment. I was amazed with Charlie's work, she was very detailed oriented and proessional! Normally my poodle is quick to leave grooming locations. However, when it came to leave Grooms by the Bay, my poodle wanted a second appointment! Grooms by the Bay is the place to bring your little one!

We were referred to Grooms by the Bay by family and we are so happy to have found Charli & team! The shoppe is very inviting and Charli and her team could not be any nicer. Most groomers take the dog and walk it to a waiting area or get straight to work ... but Charli and team instantly got down on the floor to meet our dog Ally and made a connection first. They called when Ally was ready and we found Ally happy as could be wandering the shoppe and following Charli around! It’s like a home away from home. We can’t wait to go back and also bring our new puppy for his first official grooming session! It’s great to see young entrepreneurs build businesses locally.

This is easily the best pet groomer in Pacific Grove! This place is beautiful and clean! I have strong confidence leaving my animals with them and can leave knowing that they are going to be given the best care and treatment. I know the owners Jesse and Charlie, they are awesome people that really love dogs. They really know how to make them feel special. Since the day they announced that they would open up the business to the day they actually opened their doors and groomed their first pup. It all was amazing to watch. This place has all 5 star ratings for a good reason! I think it was the owner who clipped my dogs nails. She was so nice and really made my dog feel okay. He is a chihuahua that has leg problems and is extremely anxious and bitey. They made him feel calm. This place is great! 12$ for a nail trim.

Claimed they don't groom dogs over 32 lbs.Yet the groomer behind the girl in front brought out a bigger dog to groom! Turned us away with dumb excusesWe have two doodles, neither over 32 lbs. Charlie, the owner has a doodle yet they don't groom doodles???Makes no sense. 👎👎👎

Probably the best dog grooming shop I’ve seen. So much better than the PetSmart grooming, way more clean and sanitary. I wish more human hairdressers shops looked like this. Plus, the people truly care for your dog. I’ve seen so many times at PetSmart where the employees shove the dogs around and don’t comfort them during a possibly stressful time. That doesn’t happen here.

The couple that owns this place are very sweet and dedicated to what they do. I’ve watched this place get built and the owners put a lot of work into making it the best.
