I took my beardie to this vet. He was diagnosed with a few pinworms. I was told this was a normal amount, common in bearded dragons, and naturally they would go away on their own. They also mentioned they’d rather not treat. After expressing growing concern through phone calls, his symptoms worsening including excessive weight loss. I stated I as his owner wanted a treatment plan involving medication. It was communicated the vet would call me back with a proper dose and a pick up date. I never got a call back. I then called back a few days later to see if there was an update to be told the vet is very busy and would call soon. A few days later Nothing back. I got this runaround twice in a 2 week timeframe. I took my Mr. to another vet for a second opinion. Turns out he has MANY pinworms, a fungi infection, and a big amount of bad bacteria buildup all due to a “few” pinworms according to 3 hearts. This was shocking news and devastating to hear. Our bearded dragon is a big part of our family. I did not feel 3 hearts holds the same values. His new vet dewormed him and gave him two medications so that he may make a full recovery and be at his best health. I do not recommend this place for at least exotic pets.

They don’t do any surgeries here but they are very happy to rack up your bill with whatever else they can think of and than refer you to another veterinarian who can actually help you.To do bloodwork, basic urine analysis and a radiograph (that by the way only shows gas and won’t show any foreign objects) is $900.

I found a stray cat that was in terrible shape. I took him to three hearts because someone recommended them. The staff were very kind and understanding. The vet was compassionate and kind. I will definitely take my pets to this vet in the future.

I spent well over $500 for there to be no conclusion on what’s happening with my cats. I was spoke to rudely when trying to discuss my concerns w a vet. They were not only blowing me off but swinging my cat around in his carrier when being brought out to me. I’m highly disappointed with them considering Butte Humane suggested them as well. I wouldn’t recommend…if you’re willing to spend $$ I would just go to the VCA where they can actually tell you what’s going on and take your concerns seriously. They definitely will take you for all the money you got.

I took my dog there after he ingested something that was making him have seizures. They had no one waiting and only a few cars in their lot, yet they told me that since I didn't have an appointment, they had to charge me $250.00 just to look at him! And they weren't very helpful in helping me find a more reasonable solution for my dog. I do not recommend this place to anyone 😕

Best vet around. Affordable and the staff is always friendly. I have been taking my pets here for years, even after moving to Chico.

The customer service here is amazing! The front staff is always so kind. Then the vets are so thorough that they were even able to help my old cat get back to feeling like his younger self. Plus, the cost is not outrageous. I highly recommend!

We are grateful to have found an excellent Veterinarian and staff practicing at Three Hearts Veterinary Hospital here in Oroville. Just recently they guided through a difficult illness with out 11year old kitty which turned out to be a terminal cancer situation. We were able to give our Sammy quality palative care which comforted her as well as us.

These folks were the only ones in the north state that worked to squeeze me in with my poor dog. The receptionists and vet techs are so compassionate for critters and Doc Walker was so great to sit and explain everything and answer my questions. They worked with me to accommodate my spending limit while still finding ways to help my dog. The staff doted on him a bit, which he would give thumbs up if he could! Great place, can't thank them enough.

The staff and doctor here are so awesome! You can tell they all love the pets that come through here. The prices here are what you would expect for a vet and very worth the services that they provide. I have made this my go-to vet now because of the level of care they offer for the same price as other veterinary clinics.

I want to thank Milly for taking consideration for contacting me the day after to tell me she had an opening to help me and my husbands baby creamsicle ☺️. I took care of it with some things at the pet store that I bought. And will be having a follow up at our vet. But I would highly recommend talking to Milly, she is amazing and truly cares and will give you a laugh at hard times. I will definitely come and talk to her if I can’t get into see my vet. She’s amazing, y’all spread love like she does 😁!

If you are seriously worried about your pet but don't have a lot of cash in hand, don't go here. They will escort your Digg out with no help at all. That's not speculation. It's fact.

We’ve been having our dog treated for a drug resistant ear infection at 3 Hearts now for a couple months now. We came from a different vet in town after they failed to properly treat it, turning it into the mess we’ve got going now. Quality of care at 3 Hearts is a step above. Service can feel slow at times but it is only because of the meticulous and thoughtful care they are giving. They're also the first vet we’ve been to who go above and beyond to call and check in after every single visit. We’re there a lot lately with this and the office is always clean and the staff friendly but most importantly we’re finally seeing our girl improve!

Hands down, Dr. Wentz is the best Veterinarian I've ever taken my pet to and I'll only go to her. She's very up to date with the newer treatment options available, she's had the hospital built from the ground up with state of the art equipment & an in house pharmacy. Three Hearts is also very fairly priced, especially compared to clinics within a 150 mile radius of Oroville. She's kind, patient, explains EVERYTHING to you, there's no hidden costs and she clearly cares. Dr. Wentz is not in this business for the money.I found out May 2020 my pet I take to her is terminally ill & I'm confident when leaving my feather baby in their hands that they do their very best for her.Dr. Wentz is an excellent veterinarian. I can't say enough great things about this lady.I moved out of California in 2021 & can only hope to find a new veterinarian that was as kind and compassionate to my pets as Dr. Wentz was.

Staff was excellent in explaining our rabbits health priorities. What medicines to use and any future implications that could arise. Both my wife and I were ecstatic that we found a vet closer to home!

This is one of very few reviews I will write but I feel compelled to tell everyone our experience. We took our dog in for heartworm treatment and Dr Walker only cared to try and get every penny she could from the situation and when we decided x-rays and blood work weren't necessary for treatment, she became a ghost and would not return our calls for days at a time. Then rudely denied us any further care for our dog so ultimately we paid her $250 for a heartworm test. I only wish I could give 0 stars. I am in my mid 30s and had pets my entire life and I will say this is one of the worst experiences I've had.

I wanted to leave a really good review, and I did at first. But I'm editing and after several visits I'm ready to put down a proper review so here goes. I thought at first that everyone was very nice my first visit, very good with my pets and the place was clean and well kept. The prices i thought were a little high but I didn't spend too much time thinking about it. After my third visit I'm realizing that these people are friendly but willing to squeeze you of every penny you have. They want to charge ridiculous amounts for medicines you can get for several dollars. They also constantly tell you that yes your pets are covered and paid for but when you go in the next visit they still want to charge you another arm and leg for the thing they said was covered. They don't run very well and it's frustrating to sit there and have the vet basically tell you that you don't take care of your pets. It's very disheartening and again frustrating because no proper pet owner wants to hear that when they are trying hard to take care of their pets. I would recommend staying away from this place and finding another vet unless you are very rich and can afford their prices. Maybe that's the only kind of clientele they want.

We lost our furry family member of 9+ years which was incredibly hard on us, especially my Grandson as the two loved each other since they were young. I called to see about having him cremated and we decided to go ahead with the service. They did an amazing job with how they treated us and fisher in this process. We were given a card with his pawprint on it and another card personally signed by staff members. Fisher was placed into a very nice wooden box with his name engraved and a place to add a picture of him with his "kid". I am thankful for Three Hearts being available to us and the fact that they actually cared. I highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital for all your needs including the potential need for "after" care if you choose that option.

I'm sorry but let me just say these people allowed me to make a appointment for my dog who is very bad need of a vet. Im homeless and there's a place that takes care of the bill. Anyways this vets office after waiting a week to see the vet calls my the day before her appointment and cancel it because they don't want to do another as she called it a charity case. So basically they don't caribou my dog at all. There getting paid so how I s it she is any charity case. I love my dog and your not good people to let my baby suffer. That's your job as a vet is to help my dog. Now what do I do? We waited a week just to be seen now this. Your very unprofessional if you ask me. My dog can't even get comfortable it's so bad. All I've done is cry my eyes out. The way a lot ofvets do not the people but our babies. It's all about money money money u first. And to think they were gonna get paid so why did it take them a week to change there mind tonot see my dog? Idk but she won't ever go there and maybe people should think before they do.

You should update your services on here. It's misleading to state you provide emergency care, when if you call them they tell you they're appointment only and go somewhere else.

Absolutely wonderful place to take your pets. I would recommend this veterinarian 100% you won’t be sorry that you brought your animals here. Very reasonable prices, very friendly staff. My pug Olive usually has the worst anxiety going to the vet and this time she was cool as a cucumber. A++++++++

I had my high hopes but if you don't have a perfect dog that when left alone won't be nervous at all then this isn't the place for you. I've only been away from my dog two times in the last 3 years of his life and this was one of them and I told everyone that she was going to be nervous I kept telling the receptionist, the nurse that picked her up from my truck, and the vet when she called me. But instead they gave her a sedative without asking and then when my partner went to go pick her up they charged me and sent me home with sedatives which I don't use. Their prices are a bit high but she did diagnose her very quickly I might add. Even with the rough treatment from The vet and her staff I feel that the diagnosis was correct in the medication they gave us was good but I wish there was more availability for in office visits so I can sit with her face to face and talk with her. Because I don't like over the phone stuff because I think of questions later that it can't ask now.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. How dare you call yourself a vet's office when you turned away a dog that was bleeding extremely bad and told the owners the dog was fine to go out of town. You also refused entry to your building for the injured dog. You did no examination. You showed no compassion for your horrible behavior.

I absolutely LOVE this vet hospital. From the front staff, to the vet techs to the veterinarian herself. They are all incredible.I had a bearded dragon emergency (or what felt like it) a couple of weeks ago and the vet in my area where I typically take my exotic pets was out on medical leave. After numerous other calls to any place that listed that they treated exotic pets I was completely at my wits end. NOBODY was available. I received word that Three Hearts treated exotic pets and I called. Even though they were completely booked the front staff filled out a triage request for the vet. I was called back a little bit later and advised that the vet (Dr. Wentz) said that if I could bring down my beardie (Scarlett) that she would assess her. I hung up the phone and was on my way. I was greeted by a vet tech who came out and took some information and then I went in and waited in the front lobby. The front staff are all incredibly nice and as I watched were very helpful to all the clients that came in. Dr. Wentz came out herself and told me what she thought and we agreed on a treatment plan. She was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile to make sure that she covered all the bases with regard to Scarlett, even going so far as to call a reptile specialist that she knew to get their opinion. I was sent home with medication and very good instructions on how to administer it. And after all of that - the cost was very reasonable. The next day I received a call asking how Scarlett was doing and then another follow up call the week after.I have never been more impressed the level of service and compassion I received from a veterinarian and her entire staff. I'll definitely be going back.

First visit. Clovis-19 safe. They met us outside and contacted us throughout our dog's visit by phone.I want the best care for my new pet. Not knowing her history having chosen her from NW SPCA, we will do what is best for the dog and take our new veterinarian's advice.Back again, foxtails are not a dog's best friend.Easy to order meds for the dog.

This was the only vet I could get our Rhode Island Red hen (who was injured) in to see. Three hearts was wonderful, super sweet staff, doctor was so helpful on the phone and gave us options. Sent us home with the correct medication to help our little gal along. Thank you kindly for showing compassion for a helpless hurt chicken, that is on the mend now thanks to you!
