I specifically set up an appointment for a flu shot because you advertised if you don't have insurance you can qualify for a free flu shot. When I checked in the woman at the counter said it is not free without insurance & there are no discounts . It was going to be $48.75. So I had to cancel

All I wanted was to pick up my prescription from the pharmacy, one that had been called in on Thursday (three days ago) after a doctor's appointment. I went to pick it up and they told me it wouldn't be ready that day. Cut to three days later (I was unable to make it to the pharmacy during their open hours due to my own work schedule directly conflicting), and the order is still not filled. The woman at the counter was quite rude as well, saying that I needed to learn their hours and cutting me off when I was trying to ask why the waits are always so long (this is not the first, or even the third, time this has happened.) I'll be doing my best to find another pharmacy that takes my insurance, and I encourage others to do the same to spare yourselves some grief.

I have not been able to get a hold of a live person at the pharmacy in days. I need a refill on my meds, I dont have the RX number for my prescription so I cant use the automated system. On hold for 30 minutes only to have to leave a message that no one gets back to me on. Drive thru has been shut down and anytime I go in to the store the line is backed up. Can you get an automated system that looks for my RX by name or dob? I have had this option with other pharmacies in the past. Completly frustrated at this point

Family went to get their shots. A pharmacy Karen lady would not let us all take the shot at once, even when our appointment is back to back by just 30 minutes apart. She wanted us to wait 30 minutes apart. Went in from 9am and did not get out till almost 12. She claim that she cannot do it because if other patient check in then they will have to delay the other patients just bc they are doing us all at once. Online schedules is still available... within our wait time... no one else showed up too. Wait time was so long, half our other family waiting quickly scheduled at Walgreens right across the street. Same day, just 15 min away from our wait. Walgreens took care of them sooner than rite aid and we are still waiting at rite aid. We should have went to Walgreens instead. The half that went there got all their shot back to back without waiting too long. I'll never return here unless I had to or no other choice.

Rite Aid, unfortunately the previous I had the wrong store in mind. Rite aid has always been an inconvenience to me. Long waits and the employees in the store (not the pharmacy) were not always friendly. The most bothersome problem with Rite aid in the store was check out. If you bought a bottle of liquor no matter what your age is you had to show an ID and the employee would scane the back of your ID! You had to take it out of your wallet completely so it could be scanned. That was annoying. The pharmacy hires older folks to work the counter. That's a real plus. The pharmacy gives Rite Aid the extra star for a 3 out 5 total. Sorry Rite Aid!

Every time I go into this store, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Especially the blonde cashier, Crystal. She’s always very kind and makes every trip into the store a happy one. I did see someone else had complained about her on here, although I don’t know what complaints you could possibly have about her. She’s definitely got a talent for customer service. How no one else has recognized her in the way that I have is very shocking. I used to stay far away from Rite Aid unless for ice cream but because of this cashier, I’ve definitely warmed up to the place. Keep up the great work, Crystal! 😁

5/29/22……great store… my interest was the pharmacy. Wow……great staff & very courteous. My problem was the price. I should have checked before I choose a pharmacy on Sunday. My pharmacy was not opened so picked RiteAid. They do NOT accept “GoodRX”. Big mistake on my part. I learned my lesson. Totally my fault.

After months of going here, medications never ready to pick up on time, many times just did not have the medication, refused to fill a families members prescription as well and was rude to them and was entirely rude to me as well. It felt like discrimination I finally had enough one day of the run around and changed to a local pharmacy.

I love Paula in the pharmacy, she's the best!! Always has a smile, compassion, understanding or whatever it is I need on that particular visit to the store that day.Overall, the phone service pretty much blows and the pharmacy can't seem to get the hang of auto-fill & delivery like I had with Robert's, what a damn shame. 😞If not for my insurance and the lovely Paula, I wouldn't return.

Two stars due to friendly staff. I usually have to go at least two trips and sometimes three trips to pickup a prescription. They never have the orders on time. I went in there today due to an insurance change in their system. We got that straightened out and I was told to come back in an hour to pick up my two meds.I waited over two hrs and one med was not done being labeled and the other med will be in tomorrow.I will call tomorrow and hope their shipment is in and inventoried. I’m sure I will be told to come back in an hour.Not falling for that line. I will wait three hours at home, then go there to sit in the waiting area for an hour.I need to change my pharmacy to Costco.

It was fine on a Saturday at 5pm to pop in for one item. The sales associate was able to guide me to the general direction (gave me the wrong aisle by just 1, and then immediately came over to tell me when he realized it). Even though there was only one person working the register, the line moved pretty quickly. Parking lot was not crowded at all.

Prescription called in after pre operation consultation. went in the following day to pick up my prescription after my surgery and it still was not ready over 24 to fill a prescription is pathetic. the young man at the counter told me it would be possibly another hour before it is ready. Not helpful at all. Customer service is as bad as it gets these days.

On stocking day they open a little before 8. Cash back isn't available first thing in the morning because there isn't any extra change in the registers.

The pharmacy in this rite aide has several incompetent employees. Extremely unprofessional and shows the extreme lack of training.. This person is named Rosa, she is very rude.. She also seems to dislike her job.I will share this experience with corporate as well. I highly doubt the store manager will put his job on the line to defend the classless attitude Rosa has.

Worst pharmacy I've ever had to use. Possibly because they have a monopoly on medi-cal users. Staff is slow and rude. I've never received a call when my meds are filled. They have a policy to refill Rx only one day early. (Unlike rite aid in Auburn.) I tried to transfer all my meds from my previous rite aid and they just wouldn't do it. It's really pathetic when a store has so little respect for its customers because they don't have to answer to anyone. I wish other pharmacies in Oroville accepted my insurance. They would quickly see most of their customers fleeing to other locations. I'm thinking of going to Chico or paradise simply to get decent service.

Takes a ridiculously long time to get a prescription. Slow moving employee's are super annoying. Guess I have to keep looking for a decent pharmacy in this town. Also, they charge for flavoring in children's antibiotics. , Find another pharmacy! ****Update the head pharmacist David is terrible. He wouldn't even communicate with me effectively.

every time you call the pharmacy they put you on hold for 30 min. my mother in law lost all of her meds in the camp fire and has been out of her insulin since Nov 8th and today is Nov 21st. she got refills on Nov 9th and rite aid has called her 3 days in a row to tell her that her insulin is ready, only to find out they only have the needles and no insulin for her. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Me and my husband get our meds here. The staff are friendly, but this place is UNDER-staffed. I'm almost always on hold for around 15 minutes when calling for refills and there's almost always a line when going in the store. And, usually, only one or two people are working the registers

I gave 2 stars only due to the improvement on refills recently. I have been a customer for over a year now and before the last 2 refills I had to wait days for prescriptions that were requested to be ready that day , after going thru withdrawal multiple times I complained to corporate office and now mine are ready in minutes......

I went online to have my prescription refilled, for my heart medication. Website said 12:30 p.m., called the pharmacy, they are telling me, not til 6 p.m. And this is only the once, of many times, I have been going here for over 10 years. No more

Apparently they have no one to answer phones at all? The amount of times I’ve called and hung up after being on an automated hold for an hour is astounding. Guess I have to drive down there with my infant just to check and see if you have my prescription this time, because apparently you just can’t find it half the time. 😒

Shop or get a hand scooped ice cream cone while you are waiting for your prescriptions. Rite Aid has a large inventory of a variety of items. They also have excellent sales.

If you actually need to go to this store for medicine...prepare for a horrible experience. I've been here twice and both times the staff treated me terribly at the pharmacy and then said they would not sell me my medication. Thanks for being the worst pharmacy I have ever been to in my life.

The store is great. The parking lot always dirty and is very poorly lit after dark. Especially the entrance on Washington avenue. Its pitch black. Very unsafe.
