Come on Goodwill! I've shopped these stores for over 50 years like all people. We are not looking for another five and dime box store. Im not sure what's new or donated. Maybe the new is donated but seriously you can get half this stuff at a dollar store or end of a clearance and you want to triple the prices. We're all shopping there to get better deals. If we want to pay Walmart prices we will go there. But your biggest problem is not enough checkers. I stood in line right before Christmas and people were so discouraged they were walking out and putting their items down. I started to make a stink to your employee's and they told me there was nothing they could do about it that it comes from higher up. I said yes you can you can call someone up to check right now. Well they have other jobs she said. I said they will be surely busy if they keep having to restalk shelves with unpurchased items. I told her she could also complain higher up then I recommend everyone in line they should help her out by doing it for her. Well here I am. We are your donaters! Now quit price gouging before we just start giving our stuff away to each other. I realize you help others in need but I've also brought them in for help. A $50 voucher is not much when you ask $20 for very used shoes. Do better GW or you will lose your shoppers.

So I have been visiting several goodwills and salvation army stores in the area and from what I've heard from other customers that were in the store their prices are a little too high on the clothing specially even though they're donations they have men's pants and women's pants at $10 $12 and $20 dollars which I thought was ridiculous if you go to a thrift shop it's because you have a decent price on the clothing not almost as in the store when purchase them new,

When I purchased my daughter's dress just about a week ago, there were no signs or anything indicating that all sales were final at this Oroville location. However, today (9/26) we went in to exchange it and now there are signs everywhere where the cashiers are regarding that all sales are final. From what I understand, an exchange could be made with an original receipt. The older lady with blonde hair up front was rude and disregarded us, in addition to another associated whom she questioned for help. (Honestly, most of their staff are rude and looks utterly depressed.) An absolute waste of our time searching for an exchange with an already pricier used piece of donated clothing item. Extremely upset and disappointed!!!

i continue to have the worst weirdest experiences in this store every time i shop but since they ocassionally have good tops i keep going.. wish the managers would listen to customers instead of letting people walk all over them and change or use restroom for 30+ mins at a time. Clearly there's constantly things going on and helping others use safely is great but not letting your customers have a place to try clothes on because you're constantly letting people use in every part of the premises is a bit unnerving

Came to this Goodwill a few weeks ago and was really impressed with the selection and customer service! The store was clean and well organized and the prices were reasonable. Our cashier's name was ALLIE and she was really friendly and helpful. (Seriously, she deserves a raise or promotion!) We had a bunch of stuff at the checkout and wanted to pay with 2 different credit cards and were trying to make sure we had enough to cover everything and she smiled the whole time while offering to subtotal our receipts. Really wonderful customer service and selection at this store...will return next time I am in the area! Thanks Allie!

A large, clean & well organized store.I thought that the prices on clothing was too high, and there were some broken items for sale.Good value can be had for the smart buyer.Inspect well before you buy.

One of the largest, cleanest and well organized thrift stores I've ever been in. (and I've been inside over a hundred at least) I love the fact that they have big dressing rooms. Super easy drop off location at the back door w/ friendly staff. Good location next to freeway.

5 stars because for a Goodwill it is very clean and organized. Terrific employees definitely need mention how clean fitting room was clean no pile close or hangers like you see at say Ross or even the half places in a name brand store. Didn't find what I need but definitely will be back you never know what you may find

I've had issues with this store once before after the camp fire. I will say they do have a variety of things in the store. Most of the time you can get fair deals. But..when you buy something used for 19.00 then find the same item brand new in Walmart for $16.00 well you can understand why someone would think twice about shopping there. How ever I did speak with someone they said I could bring it back as long as the tag was still on it. Well, of course I no longer have it but, good to know for next time. The other issue was my daughter and her cousins and I were shopping for Halloween costumes. One of the workers came up to me and asked in a convicting tone my I help you as though we were going to steal something. Even though I did spend over $130. In that visit. Most of the employees are nice so I won't let one bad apple stop me from coming back.04/12/2022There is one employee who mostly works the register, this young lady works her butt off, has excellent customer service. This store does not deserve her. Was so packed and busy. She requested for a manager a few times but no show so customer left, then requested for assistance for more cashiers at this time there was at least 15 people in line only one register open, I even looked at a employee doing nothing she stated that she hadn't requested her but someone else. You would think that as busy as it was and all the employees there today more then enough to have 3 registers open that other employees would notify management that the front needs assistance. The young lady has long straight hair early 20s thin very polite excellent customer service.

I used to love going to the goodwill in Oroville. I have donated there snd I have purchased a lot of merchandise. Thousands of dollars since they opened. It was a great place to go and find just about anything you need and the prices were great. And then, somebody took all of the fun out of going there. The prices increased dramatically and, the stock was thinned out and moved around. It was so thinned out that it appears that the employees were bored enough to start color coordinating much of the stock that was left. I mean, really? It's a thrift store. I don't think people go there to acknowledge presentation! We go there to find treasures or odd things. Or even to buy clothes, shoes or something we need. I still get excited to go but, it's just not the same. I used to go once or twice a week but now, maybe once a month. They just dont have a good selection of treasures. Especially for the price.

Incredibly rude staff. Whoever the woman with the short blonde hair is, aside from not actually wearing a mask, she seemed set on escalating a situation after we tried to pay and leave. Almost like she wanted any reason to incriminate us.Made us never want to come back.

Been shopping here daily since the day they opened, spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars on items from here. Well ever since this new "management" the prices have skyrocketed, they sell dollar store items and empty boxes for wayyyyy more than they should, and they continue getting worse!! As well as the selection of what they received vs. what they put out is amazingly low. There is nothing but junk on the shelves now. I will not be returning to that location until they get new Management and the prices go down a reasonable amount. Corporate office should really, really look at their staff as well as the items put out.. if they kept the same system they had a while back, it would draw in more customers daily.. it's such a disappointment going there now.UPDATE on 02/07/2023: figured I'd give them another try thinking maybe it would be different.. boooyyy was I wrong... The new "ASSistant manager" is a total gem... NOT!! she's by far the WORST CHOICE THE S STORE MADE!! SHES RUDE AND TREATS CUSTOMERS WITH COMPLETE DISRESPECT. never will I return!!! Oh, and prices have gone up even more!

This site continues to be overpriced on its used items. $5 for a used t-shirt that can be purchased for the same price at any big box store new is ridiculous. The point of a thrift store is to get used items at a reasonable price. I am finding myself getting fewer and fewer items, if any, at this Goodwill. Soon, I will cease to even waste my time going there.

I go here on a regular basis since they opened. I find the staff is very helpful and friendly. The variety of items to chose from is wonderful. Some item can be over priced, but I always find a bargain. I am glad that Goodwill is a part of our community and I welcome you to our town. Keep up the Great job.

I was at the Goodwill here in Oroville on 12/ 13/21. ,at abot an hour before closing, I had my grand daughter with me. I also had my son in law and daughter and there 3 boys ( which are well behaived)I was in the stuffed animal aisle and my grand daughter was in the next aisle looking at toys. She was not running through the store or anything , and the woman who was working up front says over the loud speaker " DONT LEAVE YOUR KIDS UNATTENDED " and since we were the only kids in the store i knew she was talking to me. So i wont be shopping there any more.

I love shopping this particular Goodwill. I feel the prices are a little high their furniture and they're closing. They have great prices on all the other items in the store like pots and pans books toys Etc.....

It is stupid for a business to close early because it’s Halloween! Are the employees 10? I don’t mean to be harsh but they could have at least posted it advance & online. Shelves are so packed you risk toppling everything while trying to look at something

Everyone wasRequired to wear a mask. My friend and I were looking for swim suits.and got 15 suits at $2.99 a piece. Great price considering they charge 20.00 and up at regular.stores.

Their are some good items and prices. They have a lot of stuff. The only thing was their service was not great. The cashiers at the counter we're very unprofessional and were more concerned about personal conversation than customer service.

Very nice and clean but some of the prices are way too high on shoes and clothes. I really don't like to that. I'm on disability and limited income so I go to thrift stores to buy most of my clothes.

I would give it 4 stars but I've seen a clothing item with the original price tag on it priced at 3.88 and they wanted 3.99 🤔 ... i also waited in the check out line for about 15 minutes but other than that, I think its a nice place!

Great selection, friendly staff, EXTREMELY CLEAN. We had tobuse the restroom (something I try to avoid in publis places...but it was VERY clean) I would say this is by far the nicest goodwill I've ever visited.

Great prices and very good employees. The only thing I don't care for is how cluttered they have all of the aisles and most of the knick knacks are disorderly.
