The folks who work in Rite Aid in Orinda, California, provide one of the most effective, timely, and caring services that I have experienced in the past 44 years that I have been in the United States. Pharmacists and their associates particularly are incredibly polite, professional, and helpful. I strongly recommend the store to all those who live in that vicinity.

I have attempted to fulfill 2 prescriptions, both times wrong information provided, lack of knowledge and communications between staff is troublesome and concerning. Pharmacist information is different from others assisting in that location. Hope they can get it together!

I wish we could have 0 star here. 9/12 4:40pmish there was an Asian old guy was extremely rude and refused to answer and respond to my questions and expelled me out of the store. Basically, he said returning formula would break the federal law. I’m accepting you do not accept returned formula but it is very questionable that they cannot accept formula returned because if they do, it will break the law. He cannot show me the evidence and he refused to continue the conversation. I donot know he treats Asian or young person that way whatever. He needs to be fired immediately! Worst experience ever.

Rite Aid is our awesome neighborhood pharmacy. We schedule online appointments and receive vaccinations for my entire family. The pharmacy has excellent staff that is very knowledgeable. They take time to answer all of your questions.

This store is a huge disappointment. It deserves a one star -- I came after a long time, last time I came was in the summer. There was this young gentleman in the summer who would always have a meaningful conversation with me, and make me feel comfortable at all times. Never had a problem, and had a great attitude. The other week I came in, and this older gentleman was extremely rude to me. He had this horrible attitude and felt like he was throwing his own problems at me. It’s time to have a more friendly crew Rite Aid!

Manager Rich W and associate Larry we’re super helpful and provided great customer service! Online said the vitamin we were looking for was in stock at that particular rite aid but it was nowhere to be found. Rich went above and beyond and went looking through 2 new shipment of boxes in the back to find this vitamin for my fiancé and I. Greatly appreciated Rich W and Larry’s efforts and great customer service!!

If you want a pharmacy that absolutely monitors your prescriptions for possible adverse interactions, and is available to assist with any questions, this is the right place for you. Every pharmacist who works here really cares about their patients, and never makes one feel hurried. They remember who you are. There is a private area for shots and any confidential conversations you want to have, plus a comfortable place to wait, with chairs. The store is clean and welcoming. I wish all pharmacies were this good.

If you can go to a different pharmacy...do so. The only good aspect of Orinda Rite Aide pharmacy is the Pharmacists Raj. I have gotten wrong medication, it has taken weeks (not exaggerated) to get needed medication, pharmacist would not fill prescribed medication by doctor and the cashier, one in peticular is always rude...the store is convenient to my residence.

I have had good experiences at this location. I usually bought vitamins while on my way to El Sobrante. Recently, got a walk-in flu shot here,and it was done with minimal setup and delay. I may try moving a prescription here, as the lines are not as long as my current pharmacy.

Since covid began I have been picking up prescriptions for a friend who is disabled, has chronic illnesses and is immune compromised. I have been treated horribly at the pharmacy. Ramy in particular has a self righteous, arrogant and condescending attitude. Though he’s by far the worst, the other pharmacy associates are only a little better.My friend called to complain, not about my treatment, (I hadn’t at that point told her) but a mistake in medication fulfillment. Ramy was so weird after that and made what I see as retaliatory “mistakes”. It’s just creepy uncomfortable going to the pharmacy for me now.I never complained not even to my friend, until recently. For the sake of brevity I’m leaving out details that could actually get them in trouble.We’re considering changing pharmacies, but this one has been filling my friend’s scripts since they opened, with no problem until (~1yr) recently. It is very close to her home. I don’t want to cause her inconvenience should we be able to move about freely. She could easily go there if not for covid.You know, now that I think about it, we shouldn’t have to change pharmacies they should do something about the pharmacists. I can’t be the only one who is experiencing this.I don’t usually complain much, people in general are nice to me, I’m like, not a “Karen” type, I’m surprised at this behavior. I hope someone wants to talk to me about it. I’d love to resolve it. Admittedly, I’m a little afraid of retaliation if Ramy finds out I complained about him. Not sure how to get an authority figure’s attention, but will keep trying.The store itself is great and the employees -not pharmacy related- are wonderful. It’s stocked up, clean and everyone is super helpful.

Terrible customer services. The cashier charged my items twice by mistake and I waited 15 mins to reverse the transaction because she was doing it wrong. Everybody makes mistakes but at least make they can make an effort in apologizing or keeping a good actitud.

The service is so bad 👎.I call for refill my medicine on September/27/21.I went to Phacmacine two times, They tell me come back next day and October/7/21. I come third times, they give to me one medicine and another one have to wait 2 hours.So terrible service !!!! I am 63 years old and not strong enough to go like that !!

wow well there's a massive fire going on and this place was out of masks and when answering that question to a customer they were rude about it nobody smiles in there the the girl that took one of the cashiers when asked to look at the ice cream because it looked really weird told me that ice cream was fine but then again she has red blotches all over her face as if she's inhaled too much smoke and people are walking around here with no masks on and you can't even see across the street cuz it's so bad but overall and they sell very yucky ice cream chocolate malted crunch supposed to be just that crunch it's so old that the crunch has turned into gummy
